Nutang was being moved for a while so I haven't updated in a while. Ergo, you have no idea whats going on with me. Ergo, you probably didn't know I moved back to college unless I told you.

Well, I've got most of my stuff situated now I suppose. Moved into Powhatan II EE 6. It's ok so far. It just doesn't feel right for some reason. I dunno, maybe that will pass. Ever get nervous or something like that and couldn't eat much? Yeah, that happened. These people seem alright. The guy I share a room with writes for the paper and leaves for most of the day. The other two just moved in today and seem alright.

I dunno.

I haven't heard from any of the former ARGS people coming here yet. I guess they were a bit busy. Might not have their logins to access the internet. Who knows...

This semester is gonna be a trial for me.

So today was a busy day. Got up this mornin and everyone was asleep. Except my mom, I think she went to Wal-Mart or somethin. Happy Birthday to me. She got back and I opened the stuff she got for me. Having a birthday at the end of the summer and being a student really sucks. You get stuff for school. Nothing fun. I got stuff to cook with and everything. At least my grandparents gave me 50 bucks to buy whatever. I got a TV Tuner card for my computer. Still tinkering with that to get it right. That ran me about 30 bucks. Got some more cash from my great aunt too. Went out and got Chinese tonight with mom. I wanted chinese.

Back to the morning. I went to the Franklin Southampton Relay for Life this morning. My grandma has a team with a lot of our family members and she is the team captain. She got into the Relay after my grandfather's battle with cancer. Not once, but twice. I also help with the money raising too. Like the dinners and things they do. Anyways, I walked a few laps with everybody.

Had to leave after a little bit to get to Parker's to pick up my car. Dad and I fixed the starter a couple of weeks ago. Now the day before on Thursday the battery light came on. When that comes on, it usually means the alternator is about shot. Sometimes it could be the battery, but not too often. I didn't have the time nor patience to deal with it, so I took it down there Friday.

I got home and had to change clothes to go to my dad's. Did that and got to dad's. We left from there and headed to Smithfield for my cousins wedding. It wasn't a big wedding by far, but it was a nice one. She had it at a house overlooking a river with the arch and all. Kinda seemed all "something from a movie" esque to me. It was funny. Before the wedding started, the groom was outside and this big boat (more like a yacht sorta) goes by. The people say something like, "Whats going on there?" He replies, "A wedding." The people say, "Ahh, good luck mother fucker." He says, "Thanks assholes." To top that all off, during the wedding, another boat passes by. "Ooo, a wedding. CONGRATULATIONS!!! *boat horn beeps* WHOOOOO!"

I couldn't help but giggle.

Went to the reception for a little while, then my brother and I broke out of there. Came back home, got dressed again. Went back to the Relay. My Grandma got some big award from the Relay people. She was shocked. We weren't. We already knew. My granddad had been told by the people and just wanted to make sure all of us were there to see it. Stayed through the luminary ceremony and then the Relay was over. The long day I had was over. My birthday was kinda pushed to the side a little bit. Had a lot of, "Oh yeah. Happy Birthday" 's flying in. It kinda bothered me a little bit. I'm over it now I suppose. I kinda figured a wedding and the Relay would overshadow it a little bit. But, according to my clock right now, it's 12:21 AM Sunday the 22nd of August. It's not my birthday anymore. I'm 19, if anyone cared to know.

Well...here's a blog entry. About 30 minutes earlier than I had said I would too. I'm early...

I ran into a girl I used to go to school with today. We used to dance at all the dances and hang out. You know, just somethin cool like that. She was fairly good lookin too. Brandy Holloman is her name. Let me tell you, she is an absolutely gorgeous woman now. It was nice to see her today, we talked for a while. Same old Brandy, and she was the one who actually stopped me. Apparently she recognized me and at that moment I knew who it was. Gave me her number in case I ever wanted to talk with her. She was a good friend during those few years I knew her, I wouldn't mind having her as a friend again. I pulled out my yearbook from those days, and the first thing I saw was,"Never forget me Scott." It was from Brandy.

Seeing Brandy today made me think about some other friends I haven't seen in a fair amount of time. Walt Francis was a cool guy. Friends since about 2nd grade, he almost came to ARGS with George and I. I wish all you people at ARGS could have met Walt. He is a trip. Heard he's engaged and just returned from Iraq. It's things like that. It makes you wonder: What if I had stayed? or What if they would have come?

It's too late now. Decisions were made. Time to live in the present, but remember those good times too. Like when during a parent-student lunch one day, Walt's dad was sent to the principal's office for juggling milk cartons in line. I just wished I had kept in touch more with my old friends. It was near impossible to do while goin to ARGS though.

Let's see. Oh yeah. Water Country was good. Chris, Twy, Heather and I (wow, that rhymed) went for Heather's birthday. Lots of fun, especially when it looked like we were gonna fall on each other at Big Daddy Falls. Not to mention going down Hubba Hubba Highway nearly a dozen times. We also watched Kill Bill Vol. 2 that night. It finished out the story, but I was wanting some more action. Chris really liked the part when Uma Thurman finished off Elle Driver. Haha.

Other than that, not much goin here. My brother's off at space camp for this week. Another empty house week, woohoo. I need to be gettin stuff ready, because its about time to head off to school again. I'm a little excited, but not as much as I thought I would. This summer for me has been really nice and slack. Thats gonna end. Oh well, sleepy time. Bye.

P.S.- In case you didn't figure it out, no tech news today. I'm that lazy.
