watching: Disgaea is on
listening to: Disgaea music
mood: Peachy
I have been in the process of going back to school and it has been an extremely hectic one. It is an online university and I am officially enrolled and in classes now, but it was an annoying process since I ended up looking for information just as the registrations were ending. It was funny because I put down my information on there just thinking they would e-mail me some information but instead the lady ended up calling me and from there on I was officially in the process. The school is American InterContinental University Online and here is the website http://www.aiuniv.edu/. I was looking for an online school to start off with since I haven't been in school for about six years and because Azalea was finally all settled in her school and the holidays had passed, so I was looking. At the moment I am going for my Associates in Business which will only take about 13 months, which his awesome compared to the normal two years. I didn't want Business, but they have Masters in Education later on, but you have to start off with Business, so I am. I don't really mind at all now, though. It's refreshing learning new stuff. Each course is five weeks, so you don't even have to deal with them for very long if you do not like them, and you have two assignments per week that are posted in the beginning of the week along with reading materials, course materials, live chat sessions and a discussion board. It works perfectly fine for me. After the second course I am pretty sure you then take two at a time which accelerates your progression towards the degree. At the moment I am taking Business and Society and then the following courses are -

3-18-2007 - 4-21-2007 - Fundamentals of Marketing
4-29-2007 - 6-2-2007 - English Composition
4-29-2007 - 6-2-2007 - Computer Applications
6-3-2007 - 7-7-2007 - Contemporary Mathematics
6-3-2007 - 7-7-2007 - Business Presentation
7-15-2007 - 8-18-2007 - International Business
7-15-2007 - 8-18-2007 - Art Appreciation
8-19-2007 - 9-22-2007 - Aspects of Psychology
8-19-2007 - 9-22-2007 - Personal Finance Concepts
10-7-2007 - 11-10-2007 - Business Ethics
10-7-2007 - 11-10-2007 - Introduction to Accounting
11-11-2007 - 12-15-2007 - Visual Literacy
11-11-2007 - 12-15-2007 - Business Management and Leadership
1-6-2008 - 2-9-2008 - Project Management
1-6-2008 - 2-9-2008 - Research and Design Solutions
2-10-2008 - 3-15-2008 - Business Skills for Visual Communication

Whee. So, yes, that has been taking up most of my time. All the processes of financial aid are really annoying, but I am sure wayyyy less annoying when done mostly online and via fax machine, which was the most annoying. We had to fax quite a few things many times a day. It was not keen. At the moment my payments are 220.00 a month, so not that bad, and it is totally worth it, so I don't mind.

I handed in my first two assignments yesterday, so we shall see how those go! One was rather short, and on the discussion board, but the other one I wrote was six pages long, so yay. APA format is scary and that is what I am still most worried about, but we shall see how that goes.

On a much different note, my birthday is Wednesday, which normally I wouldn't care about in any whatsoever, but yesterday Kell got me tickets to The Apple Tree which is a show starring Kristin Chenoweth, whom I am totally in love with, on Broadway, specifically at Studio 54. It is a three part act and she plays four different characters. Each one is a strange story of some kind, one being Adam and Eve, one being The Lady and The Tiger and the last one being a chimney sweep who turns into a movie star. Her voice is so amazing and she is just so cute! They are Row D Center Orchestra seats, so yay! Unfortunately they cost 360.00, but yeah... they are hopefully worth it! I haven't seen a show since Les Miserables years ago, so I am terribly excited. They aren't actually on my birthday, though, since the 8 p.m. show was canceled, but they are on Thursday, so not much further off!

Later on I was planning on sharing The Miss Saigon soundtrack with descriptions of what goes on in each song so that people can listen and love it, too and then, if I like how it came out, I will do more musicals! Yay for musicals! Miss Saigon is so sad and amazing. It takes my breath away. I already adored Lea Salonga as Eponine, Pocahontas, Mulan, singing Jasmine and more, but it was amazing to hear her playing that part. It's such a tragic story!

Heroes is still awesome and everyone should watch it.

I also have awesome pictures to update with in a bit, but I wanted to make sure I got my actual entry out!
