I guess that was gods master scheme in giving me such a great week. I just found out that my little brother is going to be moved even further away than he already is. I feel like a lesser type of Jobe, god hasn't taken away everything from me, but he is quickly taking away the things I absolutely love. Well, actually, I don't think god has anything to do with it. I was reading the bible a couple of days ago, and strangely, I was in Jobe. Satan had a wager with God, and Satan said to God that he bet that Jobe wouldn't love God anymore if everything that Jobe owned was taken away from him. Since Jobe was a very rich man, of the elite social class, Satan was sure he would denounce God if everything and everyone he loved were taken away from him. So Satan, not God mind you, took everything from Jobe, and after a long time of this kind of stuff happening, Satan eventually gave up, and God gave Jobe many times more than he would ever have dreamed about before Satan took his previous possesions away. This gives me a bit of encouragement, because I know that God never takes away from people, he only gives to them, Satan is the one who takes away from people. I wonder how different my life would have been if God had shared this with me earlier?

Woot...
Wednesday. 2.1.06 6:53 am
Yes. I am back from the abyss. Hopefully I'll be here for a while, and this place won't get blocked again. I'ts been about 4 months since I've been able to access nutang, and I've only been able to access it now because the computer techies forgot to reconfigure the web filters after rebuilding the firewall, and didn't reblock all the sites they had originally blocked. I may be here to see the end of this battle between Dilated and myself (By the way vote for me.) So, I got skype the other day. It really helps since I'm trying to learn Japanese, I can talk to people from Japan. I may be visiting Japan this summer, I can't wait. I'll be a foreign exchange student, that should be really fun. I'll be gone for ~2 months. I'll try to update while I'm gone. Well, I've got to get ready for school, I'll talk later!

Good Evening!
Thursday. 2.2.06 9:48 pm
Good Evening Everyone, I just thought I'd write a post before going to sleep. I registered to get my passport the other day, and I'm about to check the status of it. It's really cool that you can do that online... I downloaded skype the other day, it's really nice. I am trying to learn Japanese, and It really helps to be able to talk to Japanese people to get the idea of how conversations work. I'm also learning CSS, a cool way to work with designs of pages, it seems really cool, I'm trying to find a way to integrate a CSS design choser into my nutang, that would be really cool... I'll have to work on that later. Well, I'm almost done with my Junior year, what am I going to do? I don't know yet, except that I'm going to college, most likely at WTAMU (Go Buffs!) Because they have a really good Japanese Department I've heard, plus I know the teacher really well. I went job-shadowing today, I shadowed a computer programmer, I think that's really what I would like to do. Maybe I could do that in Japan, if I live there after college. Well, I've got to go. I'll try to update tommorrow.

Sorry about the delay!
Sunday. 7.2.06 4:49 am
Sorry about the delay, I've been doing a lot of sight-seeing lately! It's great here in Okinawa! I went on a Monorail today to Naha airport, it was really nice. I stayed at the airport for a while, just taking in the sights and people and everything about the place that I could see. I went shopping on Kokusai-dori (International Street) It was really nice there, I could not believe the amount of shops and things they had there. Yesterday I swam in the ocean and ate taco-rice from a stand near the beach, that was pretty interesting, it is exactly what it sounds like, taco meat with lettuce and tomatoes, on top of rice. I went to Okinawa World also, it was really cool, I watched eisa being performed, that was so COOL! I've never been so entranced by anything before! Eisa is a traditional Okinawan dance with drums and dancers. (Go here for a better description!) Before yesterday, all I've been doing is going to school everyday. School here is so different! The students for the most part stay in one class all day and the teachers move rooms. I don't know enough written Japanese to pass in anything so I mainly just practice writing kanji over and over again and I read a book on how to speak Japanese. Well, I can't use my host families computer for very long, so I've got to finish this up! I'll try to update again soon and get some pictures put into my gallery! Laters!

I did it again...
Tuesday. 5.26.09 6:00 pm
Once again I would like to appologize to the populace of NuTang, I keep saying I'll be on to write, and I decide not to, or get caught up in other things and just forget. So here is my semi annual status report ^^;

The biggest thing since my last entry is that I've moved. Twice. First I moved from Amarillo, Texas to Tyler, Texas. After staying there for a few months and not being able to start my computer career up like I would've liked to, I moved out to Twentynine Palms, California. Why so far? My sister and her husband live out here, and they said they'd help me get up on my feet while I job search and house hunt. Well, that went along okay until Jessica caught Jeremy cheating, then we got kicked out of the house by Jeremy for about a week. We had to go stay in a homeless shelter, run by a crazy lady, but that entry is for another day, it'll be too long to go along with this entry.

Other news of potential importance, is that I got a job as well. Twice. In Tyler, I worked at a Subway, and had a really good boss, now in 29P, I have a job on the marines base as a cook at the local Churches restaurant. I'm not very fond of it, but It'll give me money for a house, new car and capital for the computer business I hope to start here.

Why do I need to buy a car you ask? When I lived in Amarillo, I bought a car from an in town auto dealer. When I asked him if it would be able to make it to Tyler from Amarillo, he told me yes, it had a brand new engine just put into it. He neglected to inform me that the head gaskets were broken. This problem didn't really manifest itself till about the time I got to New Mexico, which was too far to turn back, so I took a greyhound to Twentynine Palms. Crapiest ride of my life, but that is another entry as well ^^;

Other than that everything is going pretty well, my sister is letting me live in her house again, and I'm slowly but surely saving up money to allow me to get a house, then a car. There happens to be a community college out here that I'm going to apply to and start working on my education again.

Well, that entry took up my time on the local library computer, I'm going to go ahead and wrap it up ^-^

World of Warcraft
Friday. 3.23.07 2:19 pm
Well, it would seem that a malicious bit of code has taken over my life. Known as the World of Warcraft MMORPG, it attempts to violently rip you from everything else you possibly care about on the computer. The only way to escape this undying nuisance is to secure yourself a computer that is uninfected with the "game" and hope that you don't reinstall it. Although I have succumbed to the temptation of reinstalling the life stealer (as it shall henceforth be known,) my computer is not yet powerful enough to handle the awesome 3D graphics and superior plot-line of the life stealer. Oh my, I seem to have been taken over for a second by the part of my brain which is directly controlled by the life stealer. I'm not sure how long I can last without my daily dose of this nuisance, but I will have to make it until the 30th of this month until I can upgrade my ram and graphics card.

The only thing I can say to my fellow nutangers is this: do not succumb to the dark forces at work in the life stealer. Be diligent and keep your distance from this unholy work of blizzard.

Okay, in other news, I started to really miss nutang lately. My last entry was from Japan, so I think I'll update on everything that has happened since then. When I got back from Japan, I got pretty depressed (I'm out of it now) because I know it'll be quite a while until I can go back. I'm working on getting into college very soon so I can be a part of the JET program. Being in the Jet program will allow me to go to Japan for one year and teach English to Japanese high schoolers. One of the requirements though is that you must hold at least a bachelors degree in any field. So I'll be off to four years of college soon, during which I'll minor in Japanese. Well, I know this isn't a very long entry, but I'll work on staying away from World of Warcraft, and getting on nutang more during my computer time.

Why I am glad to not be a potato...
Friday. 3.23.07 3:42 pm
Well, I got to thinking the other day while I was cooking french fries at work. If I were a potato, life would suck. Right now I have it so much better than a potato.

A potato is brought into the world for the sole purpose of being eaten. But of course we cant keep it at that no... First we cut off the skin of the potato, and the eyes also come off in the process. After that a potato is washed in hot water, and cut into little pieces. And if that wasn't enough, we then freeze the little potatolets, put them in a bag with a bunch of other potatolets, and ship them all over the world. Still that is not enough to please our appetite for the destruction of the potatoes, we then boil them in 350 degree oil for nearly 3 minutes. Then we pour salt on them and eat them. (Often dipping them in a thick puree of their friend, the tomato.)

Well, I'm glad I'm not a potato.

I'll think of a title later
Saturday. 8.4.07 3:26 pm
Yeah, I'm not quite sure what to write about. I'm just standing here writing about whatever comes to mind. I had my infected ingrown toenail removed the other day. I'm glad thats all over, it really hurt. I'm about to go eat some food I think. I finally got my Japanese lessons from the library the other day. I'll have to get some time to listen to them though. I'm still planning on going back to Japan, so I've gotta learn to speak sometime. Well, I've only got like 10 more minutes on break, so I'm going to go. Whoa, I just went back a page on accident, I'm so happy I didn't lose everything I typed.
