Rest in Peace Socrates. I know you have grown old, but I couldn't let go of the fact that you were in fact dying. Last night when I was trying to study, all I could think of was you. I heard your crying, and I tried to comfort you as best as I could until you fell asleep. Then I went to sleep thinking you would be there tomorrow.

You were

Ever since eighth grade, people have been saying that you were old and that you might die soon. So whenever I would go away for a few days, I would always hope to see you alive and well back home. You were always there and never passed before I got to say goodbye.

However I do regret not spending your last minutes with you. I came home around 4. Around 5 you were quiet. Around 6:45 I went to check on you and you had passed. I'm terribly sorry for not paying more attention to you. I'm just sorry. I should have stayed with youto comfort you.

In a way I am glad that you no longer have to suffer, but I greatly miss you.

I also want to thank you for surviving the night. If you had passed before I went to school, I would have lost it.



You know, I still believe that when I die I will reunite with my family members and my pets. My cousin said that pets don't go to Heaven, and only people do. Well, I believe that since humans are basically mammals and mammals are animals, then animals do go to Heaven. Silly belief huh? Yeah, I was in elementary school when I thought of that... Whether I'm right or wrong, I will die with this belief.
