The Face of Death Friday. 6.6.08 1:31 am What are you, O Death? Are you the bounty of the unknown? Or, are you the wisdom of beauty? When darkness brims over my cup of wine When twilight follows the shadows of silence I see you in all colours of days and nights When the bowl of hunger stokes fire in cry of pains The frozen mask dismembers all charms And the streetcar forsakes all desires You stand by holding your sceptre Shivering fear and tears melt into the eternal ire As I see your face painted in veiled mystery And I know you prophesying the myth of fire of pyre. Nostalgia of life deepens Through thick and thin of earthly delights When I see no light of darkness for a moment's breath To rekindle the last wicks of your truth of wisdom. I know you the unknown of all seasons As I see you on the heap of beauty of truth Like the old messiah greeting the pleasures of pains To uphold the destiny of seven sins and virtues To the glory of the last testaament of mortal beings. I know you the inevitable of all smaller things As I see your face in all splendours of disguises Fiddling amongst the bones and ashes of ruins While the empire bears the buren of fear and tears. O Death! I have seen your face I know you the unknown of all things I know you the inevitable of all mortal beings Yet the quest of long journey gets me nowhere I come back to you to be born and reborn forever To know the truth of your beauty To know the other face of your wisdom That haunts me to look for your face everywhere. In your Perfumed Garden I had taken the forbidden fruit for you For you only I kissed your love for ever For you only I crossed the sky once and for all And you came by my night to tell the fairytale For once only you said love to me For once only my cup of wine brimmed over And I heard the sound of dawn for you For you only I caressed the blushing wind The blushing wind listened to my whisperings The blushing wind listened to your sweet nothings The rear window emptied my heart to you As you closed your eyes for me once and for all And I built a castle for you in the deep air For you only I loved nothing any more And for you only I hated to dare more no more. No more you are there to love you No more you care to bare your souls to me And no more you are lost in my wilderness Once again you are all alone Once again I am all alone, all alone Like a lone boat leaving and drifting all along No shadows following the long coastline As if to run aground against all earthly desires. It is losing love is all that you care As if it is losing love that you do not suffer All alone I suffer, all alone Once again we are all alone as we are apart Love alone celebrates love all alone. Days and nights never meet any more And without you love is love no more for you Flowers close their petals when it is not you Flowers never bloom and blush any more for you Without you there is no sigh of silences Without you there is tears of grievances As if love has known all bounds of consequences. As if you have crossed the seven oceans As if you have taken a long leave of life My cup of wine is no more thirsty only for you Without you there is no fear to dare to love you No dancing girl listens to my cries of whispers No stormy petrel can hear my deafening whimpers How should I sing the sound of dawn How should I kiss the shadows of the morning lawn If you are not there to caress my love for you If you are not there to love me for the love of you? Without you Life is not life to me Without you death is never like death to me With you only I forget life unto death My days and nights are guised in eternal pleasure With you only flowers bloom and blush more for you And cups of wine brim over our earthly desire. A poem is born out of suchness of all seasons A poem is born when hunger stokes fire out of all reasons A poem is born when my unwept pains speak so cryingly When love says love to love one and all so endearingly A poem is born when my silence whispers something to tear apart As if million muffled voices will roar into a laughter for a start A poem is born when cry of unborn pleasures resound When shocks of anguished pains rebound all around A poem is born out of the prophetic voices from the yonder When sighs of the shackles all at once burst asunder. And sighs of the shackles will die down When letters of love and equality will resemble a word And the words will paint the whole sky in million colours A silver lining will blze the trail of unbound darkness A poem will be born out of all the bones and skins of me And I will write a symphony of love, O My Beloved. Marx contended his theory by saying that it is not the natural laws but it is social in causes, “every particular historical mode of production has its own special laws of population, which are historically valid within that particular sphere. An abstract law population exists only for plants and animals, and even then only in the absence of historical intervention or man.” That is to say, Marx’s idea is diametrically opposite to Malthus’s. Marx further said that “overpopulation is…a historically determined relation in no way determined by the absolute limit of productivity of the necessaries of life, but by limits posited rather by specific conditions of production along with the conditions of reproduction of human beings.” Marx never agreed to the Malthus’s idea of arithmetical production of food and geometrical reproduction of population. And that was not at all compatible with his political agenda or ideology. “Natural laws” never works with population and food productivity but historical conditions play the major role to influence the food productivity along with human reproduction. And you betray your silence By coming over to the feathery birds The light of the heaven deepens before your eyes. Comment! (0) | Recommend! | Categories: Poetry [t] |
