For the "Fritz" entry you must know who came before nikkipikkel, he was a rather accident prone individual and we haven't heard much from him lately. I believe he is still circumnavigating the globe in a hot airballoon, but no one knows for sure. For the "fucking bastards" entry the password is a number. The number of voices in my head. For the "Whore" entry the password is the official name of my first hamster. Now I called him a lot of things but the name I'm looking for is also the name of his father. . . (this should help weed out all of the ppl that don' pay attention- you guys are undeserving ) For the "I think he likes me" entry all you need to know is what my favorite drink is. All lower case if it matters. For those that know me this should be easy. And for those of you that actually saw this little module, props to you too for checking out the whole page. | A new battle emerges Friday. 10.13.06 8:45 pm God Hates Fags Thursday. 10.5.06 1:53 pm I was listening to Live 105 on the way to work this morning and they were talking about some protest in the City today. A listener called in and said that people were walking to the protest dragging American flags behind them. I was surprised at how upset I was about it. I understand that when people have very strong feelings/opinions about a topic they want to bring as much attention to themselves and their convictions as they can get. However their disgust with the way the government conducts themselves or whatever it is that compels them to destroy a prefectly good flag doesn't seem to me, to be the best way to convey their point of view. If anything, such theatrics would drive more moderate people away. Forget about convincing people of your view point when you can't even get them to listen to what you have to say. Along those lines, the morning show also mentioned a group, God Hates Fags, that have been known to protest the funerals of soldiers coming back from the Middle East, amongst other things. Their recent focus is the Amish School Shooting that occurred earlier this week in Pennyslvania. A spokeswoman was saying the those girls deserved to die. The girls that were lined up against the blackboard of their schoolhouse and shot execution style? Yes those girls . . . Yikes! I am constantly amazed at what people can convince themselves of. I look at that Amish community and think to myself, maybe they have it right. Maybe we shouldn't involve yourselves with the rest of the world, or nation, or even neighboring community. We should each build our own little community of people that all follow the same moral principles and be content in ourselves regardless of what the rest of the world thinks. But how do you keep others - outsiders from invading that? And isn't that exactly how the God Hates Fag people function (with the exception that they focus their beliefs down the throats of others)? Won't we ever get tired of hurting each other? Comment! (4) | Recommend! Neat, simple and effective. Kudos to me! Wednesday. 6.14.06 3:06 pm Nancy, I wanted to take a moment to comment on Joie, and the difference she has made over here. As you know, when I QA the FL, paper can stack up for weeks at a time. After the nightmare of shuffling through the plans, I've got to sort them and file them. All of this used to take way too much time. When Joie took a look at my filing system, she decided that sure wasn't going to work for her! She took it upon herself to change the way in which the plans are filed. She explained to me what she did, but to be honest, I never realized what a great concept it was until today. When I had to use it. Instead of going alphabetically A-D, etc, she files them in 8 day blocks, making 4 stacks per month. She also files the plans straight from the flight planning desk. When I QA, I go to the file cabinet, grab a stack, and put them back when done. If she or I were to get busy and couldn't file or QA for a week.....you could still grab a weeks worth of paper and just put them all in that section. If I need to dig up a particular plan, it's absolutely no bother to look thru 8 days worth, takes a few seconds. Brilliant !! To simplify...here is what I don't do any more: - I don't get busy then have to let the plans stack up at the flight planning desk - I don't then have to grab a stack, and QA, then go and spend as long or longer dividing them into company specific alphabetized lists - I don't have to then sort and file them in the cabinets - If I leave or get busy, I don't have them stacking up at the desk, or left on my desk for days or weeks at a time. I'd be conservative if I said she saved me a couple of hours a week. That's a lot of time in my little world. Neat, simple and effective. Kudos to her. As her direct manager, it'd look good coming from you, but please let her know she's doing a fantastic job. Comment! (0) | Recommend! I'm sad Monday. 6.12.06 7:54 pm Enough Said Comment! (0) | Recommend! What the Fuck? Monday. 5.22.06 2:13 pm Recently I was chewed out by a good friend of mine. Feeling a bit dejected, I turned to my boyfriend for comfort and advice. Instead, this is what he said: "I dont understand, did you make exact plans with her or not? Did you make plans with her then break them? It sounds like you where dragging on whether or not you where gonna hang out with her. If you made it seem like you where gonna hang out with her but kept it draggin on that it wasn't different, then I agree with her. You do that alot with her. You always tell me your gonna hang with her but you havent in a very long time. Its better to make exact plans with someone espeicailly when they live far away. I understand in the point of its the weekend and its very valuable time. People arent always gonna put up with stuff and keep coming back. Things change when you grow older and mature. sorry " So Not only am I a bad friend that plays mind games with my friends - making them not so much my friends but toys in my evil world of deceit, but I am also inconsiderate and immature to top it off. What the Fuck? Comment! (1) | Recommend! worn Monday. 5.1.06 10:16 pm Do things ever really change? If life is a cycle that repeats itself over and over again, then is there ever anything new to look forward to? Maybe we just don't always recognize the similarities between situations and circumstances but at the heart of it all - it's just the same old thing. . . Comment! (1) | Recommend! |
