I posted before I left in the morning...and well, it went WAY slower to get to work that I had really expected. People were driving like there was about 3 feet of snow on the ground. I was 15 minutes late...jerks...oh well

In other news...my friend from Denver that I've known FOREVER (he was the cousin of my ex boyfriend back in high school...I've talked to him since I was about 14)...we're going to go and catch up. The last time I saw him was 2004 (the early parts) when I just moved out to Denver from Washington. It has been a long time and I am so glad that we got back in touch. I had the biggest crush on him back in high school, but that's another story...and I've moved on since then. Still, it's nice that he still remembers me and wants to talk after all of these years. We had some good conversations...and we played an online MUD for a couple of years (The Eternal City)...text based MUD...fun stuff...had to use your imagination. He saved me MANY times in the game. Great stufff...

BUT YEAH...

I should be on my way to work since, ya know, it's probably going to take me longer...and I really have to pee and I have to go to work to do that...fucking toilet!!!

My toilet is leaking all over the bathroom when you flush it...so I have one measly toilet...and I can't even use the damn thing!

#1....I suppose I could figure a good place to do that...possibly the shower or something...

#2...OMG...I hope that I can hold out until I'm not at home.

I fucking hate my apartments...this is an emergency and I call them...we'll see how long it takes them to come fix my toilet...bastards! It took them 3 to 4 months get me a silverware tray for my dishwasher...maybe 3 to 4 days to fix my potty...3 to 4 weeks??

WHY ME....

Other than that...my apartment is still a mess, but a much cleaner mess. I do know how to clean the kitchen unlike some other people that live here (and I'm not talking about Gregory...even though, I know he'd SOOO help me...just see below)



He already knows how to load the dishwasher.

Um...Melissa is supposed to come over and we're supposed to play games tonight. I hope she does't mind not being able to use the toilet...lol...I will make her suffer!!!!

Today...snow on the ground. Supposed to be snowy most of the day. Tomorrow, snow...okay, that's fine.

This Saturday and Sunday, 50 degrees! WTF?!?! I guarantee I will see people in shorts and people outside thinking we're having a heatwave...

GOTTA LOVE DENVER...

Anyways, I have to go to work now. Driving in the snow will be...eh, what can I say...not so treacherous, but bad enough. Gotta give myself a little extra time...hell, by the weekend...I'll be driving around with my A/C on...lol

to get Gregory to go to bed. Whine whine whine for the past hour...finally, I was tired of it...threw him in his bed and I went and took a shower. I'm assuming he cried for a little bit, realized that I wasn't coming...and went to sleep. I got out of the shower and there he was, sleeping.

I know it sounds mean, but it seriously is the only way he's going to learn to sleep in his crib. Sometimes being a parent means being mean...but he can't always get what he wants and he's definitely not staying up to all hours of the night because he wants to whine and complain about it. I am having NONE of that.

Anyway...work was so-so today. It always feels like I'll never get my stuff done, but I suppose that is how it goes.

Enough about work though...I'm getting my eyes checked on Saturday, and, in turn, will be getting new prescription (much needed) and new frames. Here are options that I am considering...sorry if the picture quality sucks...I saved it in very crappy picture quality:









I'm leading toward the 3rd choice down, but ya know...it always look good there but never on your face. I love the nerd glasses :) They remind me of my favorite guy in black rimmed glasses...Graham Coxon!



He is the guitar God (well, besides Matt Bellamy). I love Graham and his music...and his studly glasses :)

Yesterday, we went and got Gregory's pictures. I think they turned out pretty cute...and hell, he was in a football mood (okay, I was in a football mood).

Last night...hung out at a bar...did WAY too many shots and came home. Two shots of tequila, 2 shots of goldschlager, 2 shots of this thing called an Adios Motherfucker, 2 shots of this thing called a Wet Pussy, 1 shot of this called Liquid Marijuana...not to mention, I had drank 3 rum and cokes before all the shots happened. I had way too many drinks. My poor friend from work. She was getting really sick so we had walked her to the bathroom (well, I had) and she threw up in the stall. As she was getting up to walk out of the stall, she walked about 2 steps and fell like a tree in a forest...her head hit the concrete BAD. Poor thing...she felt like shit after that and we left because even though she said she was having fun, you could so tell she was not having fun. I guess I can hold my liquor better than she can but I feel absolutely horrible that she fell!!!

Anyway...I'm about done with this entry...it was all about the Greg Monster photos anyway :)

You know...I'm going through severe withdrawls...

I was listing to 93.3 this morning and it's BOWL WEEK and they are playing little sets of 3 or 4 songs by bands on the top of the hour every hour this week going up to the Super Bowl. Here is the radio station's description...which gives it way more justice:

Then I really REALLY wanted to see them in concert again. You don't even know how badly I would want to see them again. I would give my first born son (okay, maybe not that far) to see them again. I'm crossing my fingers that they return to the states in 2008. If not, I will be very sad :( They really do have a big following here and seriously, coming from a fan who has listened to them since they hit Seattle with a vengeance...I TRULY ADORE THIS BAND.

Okay...I'm done drooling over the best band in the world.

Later on in the day, the radio station played a "bowl full" of Bad Religion. Unfortunately, I missed the beginning of it as I was clocking out and getting out into my car and brushing the 1 inch (MY ASS) of snow off my car. They said it was going to snow 1 inch and it snowed 6 inches or something...and then it was a complete bitch and a half to drive home...almost got t-boned by some retard turning a corner faster than he should have been...ASSHOLES that drive in the snow...PISS ME OFF...

Okay...that anger totally ruined my good MUSE vibes :)

Other than the fact that I didn't want to get up and drag myself into the shower, I eventually stumbled into work on time. My guess, I'll get to leave here at about 7pm (same as last night). 12 hours days are peachy...I suppose...at this time of the month.

I was drawing last night and I should really post some of the pictures that I draw because I drew a koala bear and it seriously looks like a koala bear! I suprised myself! It was all fuzzy and somewhat non-cartoonish. I am all about the realistic drawing. I can't wait to where we can get to shade the things that I'm drawing. I've drawn some chairs and stuff before freehand and I liked how some of them turned out, but for the life of me, I don't remember where they went. I think the last time I saw them was when I was putting them in my portfolio...but you know how that goes. My portfolio is sitting somewhere collecting dust.

Sometimes I get the urge to draw...other times, I want to mess around in photoshop and do all sorts of graphics. Maybe I'll dabble with that and post some of those too. Don't ask me why I'm in such a creative mood now, but I am....and I'm not sure if I like it (okay, I lied...I do like it).

Anyway, I should really be going...much work to do and no time to play.
