We did it! Breeding tigers for trade soundly rejected
In a major victory for conservation, raising captive tigers for trade in their parts was rejected by members of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) meeting in The Hague this week.
Parties to the international wildlife convention also urged China to phase out its large-scale commercial tiger farms.
Prior to the decision WWF and other conservation organizations unveiled the massive two-storey-high tiger mosaic, made up of more than 26,000 photos, outside the conference centre urging world leaders to end all trade in tigers. Delegates had to walk past the mosaic on their way to the tiger debate.
4 countries with wild tigers - India, Nepal, Russia and Bhutan - were joined by the United States in advocating for a strong decision for tigers. India called on China to phase out the country’s privately run “tiger farms,” which house nearly 5,000 big cats and are pushing the Chinese government to allow legal trade in tiger parts. With leadership from these countries, the 171 member countries of the CITES convention adopted a strong tiger trade decision by consensus.
China has said that it will not lift its ban without listening to scientific opinion from around the world. The world spoke and urged China not to reopen any trade in tiger parts and to increase protection for tigers in the wild.
This is great news!

no one listen, no one believe.. yet he have the courage to run away.. Started his new life.. and blessed with beautiful wife and children...
this shows that, it is so important to always listen to child, and not suspecting them, child dont lie, but adults do.....
if we pay attention to what the child said, you might catch the hint, they dont say it straight, their strange behavior always come from a result of smth... plz if u have kids, do love them, do cherish them.. do listen to them .....
VERY WELL DONE BOOK... But lots of things left hanging.... which hopefully will continue in book too..... *applause towards his courage*

Haih, ppl tend to ignore some important sign pasted on the wall or hanging on it...
Eg: NO SMOKING sign - yet ppl smoke...
- Bowling alley that me n Renaye used to go, have no smoking sign everywhere, yet ppl ignore the sign n smoke like nobody business... !!!!
Eg: NO PARKING / RESERVE sign - yet ppl park
- ppl have the gutz to remove the sign and move their car into the reserve parking lot @@''
Eg: NO ENTRY sign - yet tada they go in
- today 3 customers came, and lol they seriously treat me transparent and hula all go into the kitchen which is forbidden for the outsider.. .except uhave permission to do so... haih...
Eg: DO NOT LITTER sign / FINE RM500- haha
- ppl tend to do this, they ignore the sign, instead the provoke this sign but throwing rubbish all around that sign....
so thats y i said aiyoyo... lo... ppl dont read.. or they become super genius by putting comma at the words.... for example... NO ENTRY = NO, ENTRY..... NO SMOKING = NO, SMOKE..... and etc.. thats y ppl getting so clever.. haha @@''

erm.. about this topic, do u ever bully an animal? what will u do if you see someone bully animal? do you get furious about that? do you get so mad that wanted to super piak that person? do you start cursing that person upon their stupid bhv?
erm erm... remember my previous post that during renaye's visit, we had seafood for dinner, at that time, i saw these 2 brainless workers kicked 2 poor cats just because the cats sit on the floor?
scenario 1
this brainless worker 1, walk pass the cat carrying smth, when she do so, she just kick the cat that sit on the floor... ARLO the cat do nth to u... *mad*
scenario 2
brainless worker 2, the cat walk infront of her or sort of, and she come around and kick the cat on the stomach, the cant flunk off the ground and turn aroundd, landed safely (luckily the cat do, and 9 life) if not the cat will be dying...
well, i cant just walk out from the restaurant, due to a dictator parents... but i managed to persuade my dad not to come to this restaurant ever again..... NEVER EVER despite i like the foods very much, despite we r the loyal customers there for years.... but no more after this incident....
Aiya ya.. the shop is at Bkt Tambun, Neptine so to call.... yala kick the cat somemore la... BAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

Continue with the Little India post... After the Little India journey, we went to hunt for food, wanted to go to Kimberly street but since idk the road well we ended up at new world plaza, no picture taken because we were too hungry n tired.
After lunch, we walk to the nearby store for ice kacang with fruits... we picked - Watermelon, Mango and Honeydew... *drool* very nice especially the weather is hot...: P
Since bloated after lunch, we headed to Gurney Plaza for a movie - The Water Horse... Gosh... it was so nice, touching, sad and etc...
More food after the movie.... had our dinner at BBQ Chicken at Gurney Plaza... not bad, I ordered charcoal grilled Korean style chicken and Renaye ordered ginseng fried chicken...
Dessert we had at Crepe Cottage, I Ordered Nutty Chocolate (I think) and Renaye sunset smth smth... I had forgotten the name..
After dinner and Dessert we walked along Gurney drive and this is when Renaye doing some stunt for my camera @@'' - do ask her to show u her stunt...

it been months (almost a year) my digital camera gave me headache, because the flash was not working at the stage it suppose to work at... like "arlo plz flash when i put -flash on-" but lol it turn out to be flash-less..
after many months of courage (plus overcoming my laziness) i called to Sony headquater and asking them lots of question and lastly[asking about waranty thingy... cause the last 2 times i brought it to the hospital the took away my receipt and cert... wth?] , last monday 7 April 2008, i decided to admit my digital camera to hospital once again (believe it or not, there r this saying stating that, once it happen, it will continue occur until it hit the 3rd time - means for my case,
1st - the button is lose - so admitted to the hospital
2nd - i cant switch on my camera :'(
3rd - stupid, after i repair the on n off switch they destroy my flash + a weird spot at my screen... only see it clearly when u zoom...
imagine i love my digital camera so so much that i wrote a poem in the past just dedicated to my beloved digital camera -click here- and im also thinking of going for gapwrap or gmask it ..... but gapwrap dont offer camera service yet and gmask not available at Malaysia ... *cry*
oh oh.. by the way.. my digital camera is Sony CyberShot DSC-W30... i love it very much.... erm should give my camera a name.... let me think bout it... okie off to bed... adios

As u know, Renaye came to visit me at Penang, well her so called enjoying holiday at an island by torturing me... @@''
She arrived on Wednesday around 4pm? Erm yup, and we hang out at Sunshine Square since she needed something there and headed home... :D We had Japanese style steamboat for dinner *sorry no picture - cause no batteries* and she had *putu mayong-idk the spelling* for dessert as for me, idk what I ate something like *you cha kuih* but sweeter...
On Thursday itself, wake up so early since I have to work for my parents by delivering goods to the customers, so we set off kind of early, and here we go round here and there...
and once finish delivering, we headed to "Green House" at somewhere, but we got lost and round and round the road... once we reach there... it had discontinue its business... so too bad...
wanted to set off to 2nd destination according to the books she brought along, however I'm *buta jalan - I dont recognize the road* so we got lost and ended up at *Little India*... and our adventure kicked off by wondering around there... we got excited too since the things were so reasonably priced at... :D the accessories were wonderful and I drool over almost everything...
We headed to stores for "bindi" and many other things.... went to the Punjabi Suit store too and each of us got 1 brand new unique suit !yay!..
erm the store that we bought our Punjabi Suit from, the workers were very funny, he keep on saying "This one Nice, yes Nice Nice" "I'll say, yes how much and give us discount la... 100%off.. lol" I told him , if we buy 2 plz give us cheaper price... and yup he said ok :D.
And that staff, very "sui la" said a set of Punjabi Suit I tried on look like my umbrella @@''
On the way, we tried on their Banana dessert erm, Banana Kuih... u can see it at the picture , round and chocolate color... :D
Well thats all for the Little India for now... since my connection is very slow, I only manage to upload Little India pictures... so ill blog other place once I manage to do so... ciaoz... I know I'm very long winded... :P

Definition of being sick in my family:-
1.although you are sick, you still have to go to work or school (hence my high school attendance is perfect, no flaw)
2.you are not allow to sick because the tendency to get scolded is very high
3.if you are sick, is better not to tell them (lol I suffer 3 months of gastric pain b4 I able to see a professional doctor mum keep on saying that I dont eat in time and etc, but when Im having my gastric, questioning how it occur is no longer an issue yet they always look at the issue instead of solution)
4.if you are sick, there is no doctor require (well im fine with that cause I hate injection)
5.mum never show a sign of worry when u r sick (not even when we r child) instead my dad show a sign of worry and stay up late or wake up middle of the night to check on us.
6.Something that require money, mum always against.. lol including my endoscopy luckily they have this thing called INSURANCE !!!!
7.I often have stomach problem, a slight dirty food may causes me to suffer food poisoning, so I often have stomachache, but remember you are not allow to tell them , cause u will get scolded, but only if they r having the same problem, so u r safe lol
Cant think of any now. Since im sick, my body feels hot yet my hand and my leg feel very cold @@

What do u do every sunday morning? i bet u gonna be on the bed turning here and there lazy to bring urself up to the road or some might had off for jogging at the park.
For me, ever since workign w parents, i have to wake up freaking early in the morning, work 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Today(sunday) as usual have to wake up early and fetch my maid and myself to the shop since the customers r coming at 9am (lol penang time 9am = 930am).
okok.... cut it short, i nearly get myself killed today, because of a dreaming driver nearly bang me, only few cm away i might get myself killed or in the hospital... luckily im alert enough to hon him and *wake* that sleeping driver up b4 his van hit me !!!! and he have the guts to show me hand and scolding me @@''
i drew the incident..and according to the driving law.... he have to let my car go 1st b4 he can go.... instead he dont be bother.. when i do the turning he also do the turning..... !!!
