Sooooooo Saturday. 4.17.04 11:04 pm Drove past the high school earlier today, noticed everyone's getting back from Desert Trip. I got mad. Grrrr. Knowing desert rats are back... you know what else that means? School starts soon. =( I am so not ready to go back. I have accomplished nothing I set myself to do. Lydia Davidson might come down next weekend! I'm so excited! Yay! Changed my profile pic... I decided it was time for a new one. Oh, and notice the new slideshow of my doggie, Buddy =) I was trying to fix my online photo album, and accidentally deleted it. So none of the pictures exist anymore. =( I had to format my computer a few days ago, so the pics are gone forever. =( I'm so sad. Saw The Prince and Me with Meggie, Spencer and Lillian. Was a cute movie, kinda dumb and predictable, but cute. Hung out with Brad, Sean and Marty afterwards. Lillian and Spencer ran away. Went to macys. I needed new shoes because my feet hurt. Got a call from Mrs. Aiello. I felt bad, she was upset. Went looking for Spencer in EB, Victorias Secret and Suncoast. Found him in the parking lot. Spencer left. Went to Anchor Blue. I was super paranoid, and Marty kept laughing at me. They bought tickets for The Punisher. Dad called, and Meggie and I went home. My feet kind of hurt still from my boots, and running with blisters. =( I think I'm going to take a nap. I leave for my mom's house around 6:30 or so. Woke up kind of late today. 10-ish. I think that's the latest I've woken up all break. Hmm. Talked to Hallie and Zach. Zach and I talked for like an hour. He hasn't ridden a camel yet! I was like wtf? But he will next month. I'm kinda jealous. But seriously, if I were to be shipped off to Israel for so many months, the FIRST thing I would want to do is ride a freakin camel. Whatever. I'm not in Israel. Comment! (roomanji is japanese written in english characters). I don't know very much, just the basics. Konnichi wa. Hello, good afternoon. Ogenki desu ka? How are you? Ohisashiburi desu nu! I haven't seen you in a long time! Genki desu, okage sama de. I'm fine, thank you. Anata wa? And you? That's as far as my japanese goes. I went to Waldenbooks to see if there were anybooks that could help me out, but there were just japanese-english dictionarys. So I didn't pick anything up, maybe next time. But I did get Catch Me If You Can and a book thong. I've been wanting to read that for awhile, so I finally got it, and now I'm happy. I'm going to read it after I finish The Da Vinci Code. This book thong I got is pretty cool. It's just some ghetto bookmark, kinda hippyish actually. I originally went to Waldenbooks to get The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I couldn't find it. AHHHH. Next time, I hope. Was going to get Catcher in the Rye, but I decided I was going to wait a while, because I didn't have enough money. =( Got a Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks. Mhmmmmmm. My favorite. =) Oh yeah, this morning I went to Gilroy. I got 4 shirts, this little black thing(I'm not sure what its called, and a pair of pants. I really wanted to get a hat, but not enough money. =( So next time I see one I like, I'll get one. =) I like wearing hats now. I used to hate them. Hmm. My new favorite store is Charlotte Russe. =) Wanted to hang out with Kevin and group today. That never happened. Couldn't get ahold of him, and I didn't want to leave a message. Oh well. I might see him tomorrow, but I doubt it will be for a very long visit. Might hang out with Lillian tomorrow, need to talk to her. Argh. Now I REALLY need to work on my Fletcher essay. Quick rundown: Issei- First generation of Japanese born in America Neisei- Second Sansei- Third Yonsei- Fourth Gosei- Fifth I'm a Yonsei, and a couple of years ago, it was my generation who were the kids of the family. Fun Memory Thursday. 4.15.04 1:24 pm One of my favorite memories happened about two weeks ago. It was nothing really emotional, sweet or breathtaking. It was just really funny and pitiful. It was some random Thursday, and Clifford said we had a reading quiz. (Jamie forgot to read the night before.) So I'm trying to speed read from Chapter 2 or so up to chapter 5. Then the bell rings. "Hey, I have five minutes before I actually have to get to class," I thought to myself. So I read a little longer, for a good minute or two. As I try to get up, my foot falls asleep. Great. Hoping it will be normal by the time I get up, I sit back down and pick up all of my stuff for class and put them in my purse. As I start to get up again, guess what happens? My other foot falls asleep. WONDERFUL. By then, Aaron's like, "C'mon Jamie, we have to go." I sigh, "I'm trying." That is then followed by a couple of attempts to get up, failing miserably anyhow. Can you imagine that? A short little asian girl, with Lord of the Flies in one of her hands, and a purse in the other...stumbling over thin air because her feet won't cooperate with her. Courtney, Matt and Aaron are laughing. Thanks for the help guys, I can't get up, and you LAUGH at me. Luckily for me, my feet start to become consicous again... and I can walk. So I pick up my stiff, and trot off. Aaron laughs at me the whole walk up to Clifford's class. Yup. One of my favorite memories. Aren't you so glad I shared that? Comment! Marty Sullivan and I just got engaged. lol. Brad's going to be the ring bearer. I can't find my Coyote Ugly CD, and it's starting to make me mad... grrr. I guess thats what I get for not listening to my CD enough. Hmm... dentist appt tomorrow, *yay* I rented Margaret Cho Notorious something something... Bryce told me to rent it a long time ago, so I finally did today. BRYCE GOT A HONDA CRV!!!! Grrrr! I'm jealous! My cousin Emily is in New York right now. I'm so jealous!! I want to be in New York. sigh. We're both reading The Da Vinci Code... But I'll finish it before her because she wants to wait to finish it for the plane ride home. MWAHAHAHA! Ok, that was dumb.
