Yeah, that's how things are.

Work is back to being a major bore. It's like that. It’s no so bad at first, but it wears at you over time until you are bored to death. Even worse, I have a boring shift, 9-1 mon, wed and fri, as well as 2-7 one evening to sub for someone. Figured, I'm working 12 hours already, what's another 5? At least that's outdoors. I just better get a break this time.

Yohoho! is alright. I've taken on more of a super visional role, checking on ships, making sure people aren't doing bad things and the like, as opposed to working on the ships and making money, which I need to do again sometime. Been putting up with some annoyances lately, but its getting better. Most of the main ones have been handled.

But it all stressed me out, being bored, the game, and such. I was going to see a movie, but nothing good is there, that I haven't seen already/will see. I also think I lost my watch at work, which sucks, for now I feel naked.

I might try programming, if I think of something to make. But the chances of that are slim. I don't have the concentration to read through the book, though I may end up looking at a section on cout, since I saw an interesting way they were doing it.

I think that is all for now, might rent a movie, might play Diablo 2, might program, might play Yohoho some more... might even eat more of these mushrooms (the canned type, not illegal ones.), since they are good. Anyway, see ya.

I had work today… now, some of you have heard of my scheduling dilemma, but here is the whole story for those who haven't.

Last Friday, during a slow part of work, I looked over the schedule for the next week. I already knew I was working 2-5 on Tuesday and 2-6 on Thursday. Well, imagine my surprise to see I was also scheduled for 5-7 both nights. Note the overlap on Thursday. This it not good, since one shift is outside and the other inside. So I was mildly miffed over that. I wrote my boss a note to ask what she wanted me to do about it, and left it on her desk. I expected her to contact me on Monday, but she didn't. So on Tuesday, I started taking things into my own hands. I got a sub for my Thursday night shift during my outdoor work. I even get as lucky to get a break during the last 30 minutes of my outdoor shift, so I used that to head in and get a snack before 5. I even ran into my boss, who tells me I am actually working 2-5 Thursday, even though the schedule says otherwise. So I was like "Ok, so I get off an hour early and I don’t have to work inside, nice deal."

So I go into today, expecting to get off at 5. Now around 4:30 (to let you know, my sub for the evening was working outside with me as well) I was expecting my sub to get relived so I would be leaving the pool with 2 guards on duty. Well, it seems that she is not being replaced and we are both aiming to leave at 5, leaving only one guard there for 2 hours, not good. So I tell her what happened and asked her to stay outside until 6, while I took my indoor shift back, which caused a good deal of confusion out there, including invoking my bad mood. Two older lifeguards (adults with children) were on duty inside as I went in for work, and I told them of my dilemma as well, and they sympathized with me, having their own problems with the schedule. So I handled my duty after they left and got my pay slip. A nice pick me up of $142.68 from the last 2 weeks of work. But I’m still pissed at my boss for even letting something like that happen.

In other news, I'm doing great on puzzle pirates and my new CD and book for programming will be in tomorrow (hopefully). Now to figure out what to do next. See ya.

Whee, how has everyone been? Ive been alright myself. Been playing alot of Yohoho! Puzzle pirates. In fact,I might be getting promoted to a higher rank in my crew too. So that will be interesting.

On friday, I had work for 8 hours, a first for me. The first 4 hours, my 9-1 shift was normal and boring. I went home for lunch, and learned of a large storm coming towards town. Of course, my next shift is outside. All the same, I go to work and we dont have to watch right then, since there was thunder sounding. Whenever we hear thunder, we have to keep everyone out of the pool for 30 mnute, in case of lightning. Well, we soon packup and go intot he building as we see lightening and it start raining a little. Soon enought its storming like crazy out. We all had ot go into the interior hallways witht he day camp kids becuase they called a tornado warning. Eventually, it all ended and I only did about 20 minutes of actual work.

I also got the materials for my bag yesterday, and it should be done soon. No more putting all my sutff in my pockets! Yay! And soon my sister leave for a trip to Germany. So That will be nice. Wont have ot bother hearing CW call, or having to tak e her places, or listen to her whine. Yay!

Yes, I am addicted to Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates. I'm glad I got the subscription. I even have a random screenshot for you all.



That would be my pirate, Terna (I used Bremma in my first trial account...) on her crew's sloop, the Touchy Catfish. This game is great; you can dress up your character. You start with really ratty clothes, but you can buy better ones as you earn Pieces of Eight by working. Being on a crew is great too. You sail about and get into fights with other ships and try to win so you can steal their booty and money. Also, everyone on the ship is apparently a raging alcoholic, since when the ship runs out of rum, everyone gets crumbly and headaches and start to shake, and even speak of, dare I say it... mutiny! So it is amusing.

Not much else has happened, work, a bit of exercising, and mass boredom, but it’s better than being pestered by my sister. Anyway, I think that is all for now... See ya!

Yep, since I have nothing else to talk about, aside from work and playing Yohoho! Puzzle pirates (which I will be getting an paid account to once I have sufficient funds), here is a good dessert I made the other night.

Don't ask me what to call it. Call it whatever you want.

Ingredients
1 pack Vanilla instant pudding
Milk
Cool Whip
Graham crackers
Chocolate or chocolate icing

Preparation- Do not follow the directions on the package of pudding, instead, make the following alterations. When mixing, use half the amount of milk and replace the other half of the milk amount with cool whip, and mix. To note, mix the milk with the pudding mix first,t hen add the cool whip, and make sure the cool whip is softened a bit. Next, line the bottom of a deep square shaped container with the graham crackers and put about half of the pudding/cool whip mix over them, layer again with crackers, then again with the rest of the pudding. Finally add one last layer of crackers and cover the top with melted chocolate or chocolate icing. Chill until the crackers are soft and enjoy!
