I feel like I should update.

Currently on the hunt for a new place to live. Would prefer a house, but understand that an apartment may be the best/most affordable option.

Edward is looking for a job. He's only been here since Tuesday but has some good prospects. Unemployment is THE WORST and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, so I've got my fingers crossed he'll come across something soon. I think his MFA will give him an edge.

Let's seeeeee... Family reunion at the beach this weekend, should be interesting. Looking forward to it.

My life has been pretty boring lately. Which is fine by me. I mean, I suppose Edward being here is huge news and very exciting, but we've known each other/been together so long that it feels like we were never apart. SHMOO.

I <3 my new coworker.

I miss having a couch. My roommate moved out and took her stuff with her and she had the couches. But we'll have a couch within the next few days which will be fabulous. Living room blanket picnics lose their appeal after about an hour. Hardwood floors are pretty. Not comfy.

Edward and I have been together for over six years now.

Some butthead broke out one of the back windows in my car and stole my stereo. Normally I wouldn't really care about a stereo THAT much, but Edward bought me that stereo as a gift after the cheapo factory one I had stopped working. It was really nice and purchased out of luv.

It's been a long day.

As soon as I walked up to my car this morning I knew it had been broken into. Not because I saw the broken window (didn't notice that for a bit), but because I saw the front door was unlocked. I never leave my door unlocked (FOR OBVIOUS REASONS).

And today was just not a great day to be robbed, as I had to be at work by 7:30 this morning. Any other morning I could have called in, told them my situation and gotten all of the police report/auto insurance stuff done. But noooo, not today. Today I had to drive my sad car over to my parents' house and swap it out for one of their cars and handle all the hard stuff at work. While working.

DAMN YOU THIEF. You couldn't wait until tomorrow?

Yay for auto insurance.

I know this is like, the whiniest post in the world but dammit. Getting your stuff stolen sucks. Right in front of my own apartment too. BOO.

And I cut my finger on window glass WAH.
