i think the trick to living is the ability to see beauty in the most mundane things. Many times we are so caught up with our own problems that we fail to appreciate what God has given us.

Cast your problems aside for a while and take a walk today. Take a walk to the park, a walk down to the local grocery store, anywhere. Walk slowly. Look to your left, your right, up and down. Watch the kids at the playground playing. Look at how strange that we can built so many buildings so close to each other. Look at how the ants form such a file on the pavement.

that is your assignment for today.

It has been so long since i've blogged. Maybe because its due to the lack of time i have at home to pen down all the things, but i guess another factor would be that i don't really have much to write about.

Most of the time when i come back, i log online and check out my friends blogs to see how they are doing. Some blogs are already kinda hard for me to keep up that i've almost given up reading them because so many things are happening. On the flip side, reading their journals at least gives me a picture of what's happening around me and how are my friends coping given that we don't see each other very much anymore. But reading so many events has certainly made me feel rather jealous given my current predicament. I never realised how much of life i was missing when i was leading my civilian life until i've lost it. Cycling, hiking, roller blading, outings; there are so many things to do but i just spent it at home. I shall promise that i will be more sociable when i get out, or even maybe before i get out haha.

Think i've fallen into the "depression" phase that all my peers have warned me about, and strangely it has occurred earlier than expected. My friend says he's a bad influence on me lol and i must agree. But anyway, i must really thank God so far for giving me a decent time inside with a decent group of friends inside, as i always say "it could be worse" and certainly it may be. Note to Changhong: now i know why you can be so skinny inside last time haha, and i'm quite sure you're gonna be damn skinny again!

such a diao week... had such a good weekend to look forward to, everyone asking whether i free to go out and just nice suay suay kanna extra....

and for what?

lol, playing soccer in the bunk... damn unlucky that the ball dropped down and the OC (no not orange county) was there. and it happened on a monday! haha.

hmm... dunno why in camp i will start to think about things again...sigh.. my situation is hardly assuring..

a good friend of mine just left for studies too...would like to wish you all the best and God bless..

when people stop communicating with their partners, they lose track of each other; the chemistry fades. slowly they won't be able to connect. problems arise cause they do not understand each other more and more. that's the time when people will find substitutes. - got it from lainey
