The Elvia infatuation has passed.

Dun get me wrong---- I still think that she is a beautiful, smart, and sweet girl; however, those damn belly-infesting butterflies that used to make themselves known when our eyes met have died. I drowned them in my stomach acid.





I suspect the infatuation died because we haven't had the opportunity to speak one-on-one since the last time I wrote in here. To be honest, it doesn't bother me much.. I still have her phone number, so maybe we'll hang out some time down the road.

The following = just notes for me so I can know what to write about next week:

"my humor... it's a bit high brow, so not everyone gets it. "I say sarcastically in defense of a joke I made seconds earlier. No one had laughed.
"I guess I just didn't catch it.."
"You gotta' catch 'em all," I say. "Like Pokemon!"

I turn my head to the side and mouth the word "Pokemon?" to myself before glancing over at Elvia and one of her friends. We were walking across campus to the parking lot, and it was that moment that I decided I'm going the John Mayer route: I'm never speaking up again! I'd rather bite my tongue than put my foot in my mouth.

Pokemon!?

Ah well. I do know one girl who likes Pokemon still. She used to bring her DS light to class and let me play. Why can't all people enjoy a pokebattle like me? - -;
