Jason was a student at Comsewogue High School. He passed away due to leukemia. Now we have this night which is more of a celebration of his life (rather than a solemn rememberance), and it is sort of like my school's talent show. As you know, I've ranted about not being able to play Beethoven and all of that good stuff. But now that I think about it, it's ok. I mean, so I memorized this wonderful piece, I'm able to put this emotion in it, and my friends feel calm, relaxed and collected whenever I play it, but now I understand why it wasn't really a piece for Night for Jason.

-First of all, there are less acts.
With less acts, the "judges" have to pick the best of the best. Even though I did my best at the audition, I guess 1 instrumental piece was enough, and I'm glad Dana and Monica played their duet. They deserved it.
-Choopeta or rather Mamae eu Quero actually did pump up the audience...or at least those who never suspected that I'd do such a thing.
Honestly I didn't believe that Frank said, "the whole left side is (ugh! i forgot his exact words I think it's wasted.) wasted! They'll laugh at everything."
Someone says (Sorry, I forgot who) "Wait! My parent's are on that side!"
Frank says, "Well your parents are drunk"
I didn't believe the whole "they'll laugh at everything" thing...not the drunk part...ok? ok.

It was fun. At the end of the song everyone fell down as if they died...and people were applauding and I was thinking ,"WTF?! You're ruining my whole ending!!! Stop! there's more!" and I just stare at the people on the ground for 2 seconds and I improvise my Napoleon Dynamite run!

I'm going to buy the DVD. I'll just have to ask Antelo if I can still buy it...hopeful I can....so I can see me run off. Ooo! and Jess taped the whole thing for Kristin...so we can see ourselves... so awesome! amazing night.

The thing is that after we performed... I wanted to thank everyone.... but I didn't... I got distracted.... but then I did right before the finale.

Haircut tomorrow.

We called the number that Circuit City gave us. The people will send us a box, we put the laptop and stuff in the box, we send the box to somewhere, it arrives in about 10 days, I'll be happy yet sad because they need to perform a system recovery operation there in order to fix it.

I finally beat Suikoden Tactics.

Night for Jason in two weeks.

I can't practice viola because I left in orchestra room. I was panicking yesterday after school because I thought I put the Chupeta CD in my backpack and found out I didn't. So I need to rush home and back. I left my viola in the orchestra room thinking that everyone will still be there when Holmes had to leave. That means I can't get my viola to practice during the weekend...it sucks because I need to practice the quartet thing.

I'm getting overwhelmed with a lot of things. There's my piano stuff, the music in orchestra, the quartet music, my nyssma solo, my nyssma duet, and now this other duet thing I was volunteered for without saying "yes." wtf man. next year i'm just saying "no" because this is too much for me to handle.

i need to do homework.

The paper is due tomorrow because the entire English Department is still grading the Regents. I heard that it was easy. Apparently last year's exam was hard. I took it last year. I thought it wasn't htat bad, but it was pretty much basic. I mean for a two day exam with four different types of essays that last 3 days each (you must stay for at least 2 hours each day) it was all good.

I've been doing some thinking. I want a job, but I don't know where to apply. Should I call that number the woman at the Career Day gave me? I mean, it's really close, and it will help me broaden my horizons for the medical field, I think. I don't even remember what you do. It's been a couple of months already. Or should I help the other number to help out with the Clowns? I really don't like 20985093285 screaming kids. My cousins are bad enough as it is. They're ok separately, but when they're together it's chaos. Whatever.

Hmmm....

I have enough money to buy the Break of Reality things, and I really want to buy them. I accidently contacted a member of the group (I meant to contact the person who maintained the site) about another payment option besides paypal (because of the whole issue when I had a site. chaotic. and I feel bad that I was using my parents' money when using paypal... so I cancelled the account), and there is a way. I can just mail a check or something to them. Soo I think I'll do that. The thing is that I'll have to e-mail again to see if it's still ok and that's still the address. I'm really excited.

I'm going to be in a practicing craze for the next couple of months. I'll have to practice piano for a minimum of 1 hour. Then I'll need to practice viola for about an hour and half. I'll have to practice scales (Level 5 NYSSMA requires scales to start on other strings like the C Scale starting on the G String rather than the C String), the quartet music, the music we're playing in orchestra, plus my own NYSSMA solo. Fun.

Practicing viola then piano is really odd. I've trie dit a few times, and it was just...different.

I need to make another appointment with my orthodontist. The other side of the retainer popped off as I put it on.

Everyone likes my hair, but I'm getting a haircut soon. Seriously. Today was the worst Hair Day EVER. When I saw Hair Day, I'm not talking about my hair looking like crap because if you know me, I don't care how my hair looks like. Today people were like, "I like your hair because it's just springy and out there . . . " People were just touching my hair... it never ends. Usually this would happen once every three days, but this happened three times today. Odd? yes.

I'm going to practice stuff then watch a movie while doing homework because I can.

I wish I had an extensive DVD collection.
