Music Smashing Pumpkins A Perfect Circle Foo Fighters Pink Floyd RHCP Entertaining Stuff KillFrog - if you liked happy tree friends, you might like this too. Happy Tree Friends - violence at its best Army Tank - waiting for its return Rock Paper Saddam - as the name suggests Weapons of Mass Destruction - self explanatory World Rally Championships | crap Tuesday, March 8, 2005 bad day. Lost out in BSG.. was pretty dumb.. we were holding on to second place and lost in the last year... dropped to 4th position overall. Year 15 we were just third from the last, brilliant.. found out that i submitted the NTU application wrongly and have to submit the documents, at least they were nice enough to give me the opportunity to submit the documents instead of throwing my application away immediately, but still i'd have to find time and money to try to take cab and back during break tom to submit my documents, why do i always have to inconvenience myself like that because of my plain stupidity that i didn't see the thing clearly in the first place? Advertising and promotion effort so high but brand recall still so low, worse still target audience still cite competitors brand, ala duracell - energizer bunny thingy.. Naffa in a week's time and im not even close to passsing even though ive been trying to train for it, the one month wasn't enough to help me make such a huge improvement, might as well don't train at all? Losing motivation to train, furthermore got to stay back late almost everyday now because work comes first, by the time i get home its dark already so even more unmotivated. Feeling quite pissed, upset, depressed, whatever. For the first time in quite a while, i crossed the road and really wished the car had hit me..... but seriously, thinking about the big picture, all my so called problems and concerns are so trivial compared to what other people go through. In fact, im so pathetic that i feel sad because of what is suppose to be trivial matters. I was reading Readers' Digest in the library today and read about the sex trade problem in Cambodia. Those are the people that have REAL problems! Its not just a sex trade, its a fucking paedophile sex trade. Girls as young as 6 years old get sold or conned or abducted into brothels to serve the perverted minds of others. WTF is wrong with them man! ITS LIKE FUCKING YOUR OWN DAUGHTERS YOU SICK ASSHOLES@!##% anyway, these are things we don't know or hear about everyday, but that doesn't mean it isn't happening.. those people have real concerns, im ashamed to call my matters "problems"... ok going to run now, need to work off some excess emotion. Comment! (6) | Recommend! Changes! Sunday, March 6, 2005 alright, been some time since i did anything to the blog design. Decided to tweak the existing one a little cos i felt an overhaul would be too much work for a lazy bum like me. But it turns out that what was supposed to be a simple tweak didn't exactly turn out to be a stroll in the park either (murphy's law). Anyway, managed to achieve that objective of making the third column on the right. Kudos and many thanks to Yanping who was the one that did the hard work. Still some changes that i have yet to figure out. I need your comments guys! 1) should the font be white? is it too bright? 2) how to change the comments text colour? 3) how to change the colour of the bar on the top to another colour instead of green? 4) how to change the colour of the links? help in any or all areas would be much appreciated! Comment! (4) | Recommend! argh iaf Thursday, March 3, 2005 even though i did ok, still felt really disappointed with my iaf test. Everyone got higher than me and being such a competitive person, i really hate it that i couldn't do any better. no excuses, this time just sucked at it, fuck. Comment! (2) | Recommend! Bloggers Tuesday, March 1, 2005 After reading quite a few blogs, i have decided to categorise bloggers into a few distinct categories. They are: 1) Descriptive Bloggers 2) Emotive Bloggers 3) Discussion Bloggers 4) Event Bloggers 5) Combination Bloggers 1) Descriptive Bloggers Descriptive bloggers are classified as bloggers that often describe events or happenings in their blogs. They are often the ones who describe just about anything and everything that they do in the day, like what's happened and who did they meet etc. I theorize that these bloggers who fall under this category are meticulous and concientious people. 2) Emotive Bloggers Emotive bloggers are people that just blog their feelings. They usually blog about what they are currently feeling at that point of time and blog entries are usually short, very much shorter compared to a descriptive blogger. I theorise that these people are more short term oriented in nature. 3) Discussion Bloggers Discussion bloggers are people who often write about interesting thoughts or feelings about some particular event or happening that they feel strongly about. The entries often try to get the readers to think about what is being written and how it may or may not relate to them and affect them at the same time. I theorise that these people are visionaries or far sighted individuals, perhaps even people who are very much connected to their inner feelings to be able to identify and differentiate many aspects of feelings. 4) Event Bloggers Event bloggers are those who do not blog often, and when they do, it is usually about events of happenings that they would like to share. They do not blog for the sake of blogging, but rather do it more to share some significant information that they might find of use to others. I theorise that these bloggers could be people who are more reserved in nature, or just perhaps just people who lack time to blog haha. 5) Combination Bloggers With so much being said trying to differentiate the different types of bloggers around, i believe just plainly that majority of us fall within this category. The way we blog is never just one single format and often we may employ one or more different categories even for just one single blog entry that we create. Well, just hope this information is interesting. And all these are made according to my judgement ps: if the media wants to use this, i'd be happy to share, just give me acknowledgements haha Comment! (4) | Recommend! Moskau Moskau hohohohoho Monday, February 28, 2005 training ended pretty late today. But thinking back, i hope it was worth it, pain is good (think im becoming more sadistic). Finally understood why people spend so much time in the gym working out, its like a great ego boost when you have like rock hard abs and arms carved out of stone. Well, hope i'll have the motivation to continue training even after the naffa period. Anyway, barret sent me this link a little earlier about some dancing russians, kinda freaky but entertaining if you have 3 mins to kill. http://www.koreus.com/files/200408/dschinghiskhan-moskau.html haha whatever they are trying to say man Comment!
