"So you're Jon," cooed this blue-haired woman before me. Bestowed upon her = an incredulous look, of my own accord. I turned to (chris)Tina, a new friend of mine, and then back to the Blue haired woman(think Bulma from DBZ) before she spoke up again.
"I've heard alot about you."
"Oh, yeah? From who?"
She smiled, and nodded toward Tina, who tilted her head down and averted her gaze away from my own, and focused on the ground.

I like Tina. My interest in her peeked a few months ago when she spoke to me and a third party about Oscar Wilde. The passion she employed when discussing this author moved me. Never had I come across anyone who really appreciated an author based solely on their diction and syntax, rather than on the subject matter of their work.

(chris)Tina is an interesting woman. She's three years older than me. She smokes camel cigarettes ( turkish flavor. ) She drinks lone star beers. She's a big fan of the Arctic Monkeys, and talks out of the left side of her mouth. The blue haired woman is her best friend, Jen, who is also really cool.. I ran into her today while going home and ended up having a conversation for nearly 45 minutes about the dehumanization of ethnic minorities here in the United States, and how it seems to be a recurring theme of our history ( from african-americans to the "illegal aliens"). I won't bore you(the three people who read this regularly. HI MOM!) with talk of strife; rather, I'll just say this: Jennifer is cool.

Too bad I won't be going to the party she's throwing that Tina invited me to. Why, you ask?

Pokemon! I gotta' train my infernape and my Blastoise and my Arcanine and my Chansey to take on Lucia! I met Lucia last year in history class and I've been training, mentally, to take her on all year.. I'm ready.

I'm turning into a grammar Nazi.

I'm a tutor; I tutor the kids in Criminal Justice at my University.
---not really kids, all are either my age, one year younger, or one year older---

Twice today, within the span of ten minutes, I heard myself correcting these kids(19 and 18 year old women.. more on those two) on their grammar, in my head.

I try to avoid being pretentious, so I'm a little alarmed by the little voice in my head that constantly corrects other people when they use than rather than then, or mispronounce words like illicit(SHOUTOUT). Ah well

Back to the two girls... Lets call 'em A and B. I like 'em both; they're both really sweet people. A is from...

I'll finish this later. This library is way too cold.
