Final Final
Thursday, March 24, 2005
ah..the last day of official school and the end of my life in sure pass poly (well if its really sure pass poly). Incredibly hectic semester has not even relented even on the last day, with everyone crowding the photocopy shop to zap missing notes and everyone seems to be running around somewhere. Not to mention the improvement works being carried out around the school, with new furniture being changed in the lecturer's room while some lecturers are dealing with last minute questions and some even client BD presentations. So much things happening, and yet all of us know that even as we leave, some part of us would long for that feeling once again, to sit in the company of good companions, engaging in pointless conversations banters and taunts, and even indulging in a almost frequent big 2 game. But that's how it is isn't it? We wouldn't miss things until we know it is gone. But rest easy knowing that we have seen this day arriving and have made "emotional" preparations to cherish our remaining time. The food tasted better, the jokes even more so funnier. Knowing that we might no longer be able to carry out our once daily routines has somehow made everything more special. haha i must be getting too sentimental.

Anyway, would like to thank everyone and anyone that i have known and been in contact with. It is a true pleasure to know ya'll. Perhaps some time soon i shall write about what it really meant for me in the 3 years there, but just not yet. The story has not truely ended. I hope everyone will continue on with their blogs so that we will never have to feel that we are so far apart. Special thanks to all my project mates as well, for putting up with a real grouch like me haha. And special thanks to God in providing me with a great environment and company to cherish (wonder if he reads blogs).

finals

ok, i haven't been updating my blog recently. part of the reason was because i get to see my list of cars at the top of my page. well now no longer.

the past few days has been pretty good to me, even though im really tired. actually prayed quite a bit this week haha, and well it did work out, thanks God. There's still more to come, but at least i have some fresh determination that if you work hard enough, anything is possible (damn im too preachy).

had my final presentation for BD today, was the final hurdle for that year long module, well that's if you don't count the bsg report. Woke up pretty early even though our group was the last batch to present, they separated us into 3 batches, and all we had to do was to turn up at the allocated time and present to the panel in the room. Having the car, i drove to pick up my members and then met at irene's place to pick up the food. just so happened that wynn reached about the same time as me too haha so coincidental.

anyway, we made our way to school and did our preparations, think everyone around were pretty nervous, didn't help much that the weather was so hot either. We had like so much things to carry, 3 fondue pots plus serviettes, cups, table cloth, etc haha. In the end, it was our turn and we carried everything into the room and set up. The presentation was alright i guess.... wynn and i only took a total of around 14 minues to present the whole thing, way under the allocated 20 mins for the presentation..haha i took only 6 mins for my part, felt really uncomfortable standing there because i thikn the air condition broke down or somethign and i was sweating so much but was afraid to wipe my sweat there.
anyway, before we had our q and a session, we invited the panel up for a try of the food that we prepared, and thankfully, they did like what we prepared, special thanks to irene's mum for the food, and i heard the curry was pretty solid (haha i didn't try cos was kinda hot already). anyway, we did get some good feedback from the panel, chris cheong thankfully didn't ask a lot on the financial part, but he did ask a question that we couldn't figure out until some time later, we had to guess what was he thinking man.. diao.. "how can you increase the revenue in your cafe/restaurant?" then talk about what europeans like etc, we were stumped for a while...turns out to be alcohol haha.. anyway the panel really liked the food, liked our concept, but didn't like our rent haha to sum it up. after the panel left, we invited our friends over and it was like a mini party in the com lab lol. hoped they like the food though.

anyway, wanna thank my bd mates for such a great time working with them, and hope we stay in contact somehow next time too. :D

do you believe in coincidences? or do you believe that everything happens for the reason?

just when i was driving back, i decided to make a short detour to my old sch who were haivng their campfire later to see their preparation. for the short whie i was there, like 5 mins or so, this guy fell down (or jumped down i dunno) from the structure and fractured his arm. and being there so "coincidentally", i brought him around looking for clinic. well, not that im saying he should fracture his arm, but was kinda uncanny the way it happened.

anyhow, its about 630 now, campfire's gonna start soon, ok im going off, ciao

Rx8
Saturday, March 12, 2005
in the space of roughly 6 hours or so outside with about 4 hours on the road, i saw a total of 4 Rx8s today. that averaged out to 1 per hour. 1 red and 3 grey ones, two with spoilers.

Think the Rx8 looks a little funny from the side, when u see the "hump" of the chasis to accomodate the front tire kinda weird. And not to mention the rear passenger seats are for midgets and children.

List of cars that i would like to have in real life (not in order of preference)
1. Mazda Rx8
2. Mazda Rx7 FD3S
3. Toyota Altezza, if not then Lexus IS300
4. Toyota Supra
5. Nissan 350z
6. Nissan Skyline R32,33,34
7. Mazda Mx5
8. Subaru WRX Impreza Sti (full sti only)
9. Mitsubishi Evolution VII
10. That volvo one kinda popular
11. Honda civic Type R (EK9)
12. Mini Cooper
13. BMW new 5 series (i love the rims)
14. Ferrari F430
15. Lambor Gallardo
16. Pergeot 206
17. Porsche Cayanne (not sure the spelling)
18. Hummer! (the bling baby!)
19. Alfa Romeo (the one i saw in the motorshow, cant remember the model, big shiny red one)
20. BMW Z4
21. Merc SLK AMG

well that's all that i could think of at the moment. Of course, i know that i have absolutely zero chance of owning all of them in real life, let alone own one from the list. Drive them, maybe if im a chaffeur yea. Darn, why must i be so obsessed about things that are so coincidentally enormously expensive, even more so in Singapore?
