Ok so I don't think I passed that test. You can't get more then two wrong and I know I got at least two wrong. Crap... But what really sucks is that I won't know for sure for like 2 weeks. This week is spring break for my school and well all of the nursing instructors are out and when they get back next Monday then they will pick up the tests and grade them and then mail us the results. Double crap... So now I have to wait. But right now...I need to go to work. I took the morning off so that I could take this test. I have to be in at 1 pm and then I have RCIA at 7. Triple crap.

Ok but really somebody please say a prayer that by some fluke my brain was functioning well enough to pass that test or that at least that if I have to take it again I will pass. Otherwise I don't get in and I will have to wait a year. 8( I can't take doing this same routine for another year. Sigh... I guess I should get ready for work.

But things just kind of sucked this past week.

The Friday night out with my coworkers turned out to be a bigger waste of my gas and time then an actual fun experience. I ended talking to Pat and Mike who are the other two directors, besides my boss, in my department for about 2 hours. I then was forced to listen to my supervisor karoke and it sounded like a moose in heat.

I have to take the dosage calculations test in about 7 hours. This test will decide whether or not I get into the nursing program. I have to get a 90% or better. There are only 25 questions so I can only miss two questions. I am screwed.

I have been feeling very down in the dumps lately and I am thinking about scheduling an appointment to see my therapist this Friday. I have the weekend off for St. Pat's. I also currently have no idea how exactly I am getting down there considering my current brokeness which is directly related to the gas in my car. Plus I really would like to be ALONE for a weekend. I haven't been alone since I was living in my apartement in the park. I have thought, only briefly, about charging a hotel room to my credit card and just spending the weekend being lazy and basically sleeping at all hours and relaxing. Then I think about the fact that doing that would basically cost me two weeks worth of work. *Sigh...

I was an hour late to work today... I hate all this stupid daylight savings time shit...

I had to train on the registers at work today. I was training Josh and as nice of a guy as he is, I REALLY hate training people. Josh is a really fast learner too, so basically I stood there bored out of my damn mind for 5 hours. Grrr, but it helps pay the bills.

I got my tax refunds back! Yippee! The state refund was in my account last week and the federal was there on Friday! I took the entire state refund and applied it to one of my credit cards. I put half of the federal onto my card and took the other 30 out to buy myself something. I haven't spent it yet. I haven't really spent any money besides for food the past couple of weeks. Money just kind of depresses me right now. I have very little money in my checking account after bills and whatnot for the first part of the month. Thank goodness I get paid on Thursday and Friday. (Full time on Thursday and Part time on Friday)

Ok well I need to get some sleep so I can concentrate on this test tomorrow. Wish me luck...

Man this week has flown by. I can't believe that it is actually Thursday. I have to work 9 - 5 at the full time and 5:30 - 8:30 at the part time today. Blah. Btw Gray...if you tried to call, I can't find my cell, if you didn't...fine be that way.

It has been an interesting week. For starters I haven't been on time one day so far this week. I mean I have only been late by like a couple of minutes each day but my supervisor is still anal about it. My office is having its spring bowling/karoke party. Basically we all get together, bowl for a couple hours, everyone but me (still not 21) drinks and then someone starts karoke and we all laugh our asses off. I went once for like an hour and "sadly" didn't get to stick around for the karoke. Well I was asked by one of the guys, we will call him Matt* (more about him later), if I was going to be at the get together. I told him that I had to work until 8:30 and it would take me at least a half hour to get there and then an hour to get home and I have to be a work the next morning at 8:45. He gave some kind of argument that to be honest I didn't pay one bit of attention to, he is really cute, but of course since he was asking me I said I would be there.

So anyway I must tell you more about "Matt", why, you might ask. Well because I want to and I need to get it out of my system. Matt is this very nice, cute, sweet coworker that I have never done anything more then my very basic flirting with. He used to work in one of our satellite offices and since I am in the main office I didn't see him that often. Well last May he was promoted and now works in the main office (and if anyone I work with reads this they already have it figured out I am sure, that is the problem with working for a business with 90 employees, only about 60 are in the main office, but anyway) so I see him almost daily. Well Matt has always been flirty with me and has asked me to get a drink with him or watch a baseball game with him on a couple of different occasions. Something always prevented us from ever actually following through on these plans (I was seeing someone, he was seeing someone, the game got rained out) but now nothing stands in the way. Basically I have this silly little crush and I was always able to keep it locked up because I won't date people I work with. Well now I should be leaving the office to go back to school in August so that would eliminate my excuse. Shit I actually have to make a decision.... Amber...help!

Ok I think that is all... Oh yeah I haven't had a cigarette in 2 days 5 hours and 11 minutes and I am seriously considering going vegan.

Woohoo! I had a great evening. I went out with some of the guys from work (part time job not full time) to an art gallery tonight. It was kind of a themed show. A carnival freak show! We got all dressed up and went out and it was a lot of fun. I got to dance with a three legged lady and watch fire eaters and fire jugglers. Which was pretty cool.

Btw the show was called Nadadada, I didn't just make that up for the hell of it.

You gotta love H & R Block for having a simple, idiot proof online filing program! I just filed in about 45 minutes and I am getting $72 back from Federal and $136 back from the State of Missouri! Yippee for a credit card payment! They are all efiled and are going to be direct deposited! This is the second year I used H & R Block online and I love it. I should have my money in my checking account in about 2 weeks! Plus now it will be easier to file the fafsa. I did it earlier but I think I messed it up and so now I can edit it.

Ok so I drove down to Rolla to see my best friend Amber. Today is her 21st birthday and well that isn't the point of this blog.

So her apartment is in the Catholic Student Center (aka Newman Center) at UMR and I had my car parked in the Guest parking in front of the building. I stepped out to smoke earlier and saw something white tucked under my windshield wiper. I assumed the cops had ticketed me. Nope. I had a note from the Newman Center under my wiper blade. Most of the paper was a standard typed form that they have on hand but I am sooo special I got a hand written note. What did this note say you might ask, well hold your horses and I will tell you. The typed part says "This is a PRIVATE PARKING AREA. Kindly cooperate. The Lord will bless you and we won't have to leave you notes or ticket repeat offenders. (If you're a Newman student, you need to get a parking pass. If you are visting the Newman Center, make sure you sign in.)" Now like I said before I was so special that someone wrote me a extra note on the slip of paper. This is what was hand written on the paper, "You've parked here way too often! You will be ticketed or towed!!" This message was given extra detail with some underlining. I really wanted to ask someone if this was their idea of christian love and hospitality but instead I moved my car, because I am sure that is much better then yelling at a nun. Plus I won't have to confess to a priest that I moved my car, I might have to confess about yelling at a nun!

PS. I am not sure it was a nun but I think it added a little something to the story don't you?
