I went to see Garden State once again with my friend. It was good, funnier this time. Natalie Portman's character is very amusing. I liked her. Zach Braff is also good. For anyone considering to watch this movie I say: Go ahead!

One thing that really pisses me off is how people only vote for Bush because of religious aspects. I mean honestly, there are some people who are blinded by their own beliefs that they'll vote for anyone who's of the same religion. Sickening, isn't it? Another thing that pisses me off oh-so much is the merging of church and state! Argh! That is so unconstitutional, psha! I mean take gay marriage. The only reason Republicans are against it is because it goes against what the Bible says. Doesn't the bible also say we should stone virgins or something?! I mean, the bible is very old and many of the stories in the Old Testament are insane. If you're going to follow the Bible (which you shouldn't for political aspects) then follow it completely, don't just take one thing from it and try to justify your views with it. And I hate how some people have this notion that the only reason gay people are together is for sex. Just because they can't physically have children doesn't mean the only reason they're getting married is for sex! I mean, gay people can be in love. Shocking isn't it? And what are you so afraid of? All you're granting is recognition. Recognition of them as a married couple! It's not the end of the world. Jeez.

Boy howdy it sure is hot today.

Lifetime movies are so typical! They are all about a middle-aged woman usually with kids, insert some sex scenes, a man who cheats, some crappy C-list actors, and a golden retriever and you've got yourself a cool Lifetime movie! Made by women, for women. Gah, I don't like networks that are blatantly trying to appeal to [insert race and/or gender]. Like Black Entertainment Television and Oxygen. Please! You don't see white people with their own networks. Oh no, no, that would be racist. Pf.

People always say you can run but you can't hide. Has it ever been: You can hide but you can't run? Isn't that how it was for Jews during the Holocaust... Whoa whoa let's not get into that.

My to-do list (in no particular order):

I just saw The Pianist on DVD. I must say it's pretty good. I wonder, does Adrien Brody really play the piano? Or is it just some other guy's hands? Man, after seeing that film it makes me want to excell in the piano badly. I kind of suck, but I want to get better. Maybe I shouldn't have quit my lessons. Oh well, I'm determined to keep learning on my own!

Oh yeah, we just subscribed to that Netflix thing. I plan on seeing a lot of movies now. Know any good ones?

listening to: The Shins - One By One All Day

Perhaps too much money is being spent on AIDS research. We could be using that money to help Africans immediately. Like, spend it on food instead of AIDS research. I mean you are not guaranteed to find a cure, so in the meantime many Africans are dying. And what are you doing to help them? Nothing because your tax money is going towards AIDS research. I guess it isn't too unreasonable to spend it on money that would help them out right now.
