Dentist is fully booked
Saturday, January 3, 2009
I went to the dentist near the place I stayed this morning. But the nurse/receptionist told me that they are fully booked for today. Aargh.... Then I ask how about next week? She replied that next week is also quite full. OMG... Is there really so many people going to the dentist? At last I asked for their contact number so that I can call up to make an appointment in advance next time before I go.

Venus + Jupiter + Moon = Smiley Face in the Sky
Tuesday, December 2, 2008
I saw the "smiling" sky yesterday. I was sitting in front of my PC when my housemate got back from work. He told me that there's a smiling sky tonight. At first I couldn't get what he meant. Then later he told me and the rest of my housemates to go out and see. I was confuse but curious. When I've got out of the house and looked up to the sky, I finally understood what he meant. Haha..... It was indeed a smiling face in the sky. Later upon searching the web we got to know that it was the planet Venus & Jupiter aligned to form the eyes and a crescent moon for the mouth. This is the first time I've seen anything like that.

Recently I heard a song titled 下一个天亮 by 郭静 (Claire Guo) and I love it. Its a nice song. So I started to look up for other songs sung by her. It seems that she's a relatively new singer as she has only two albums under her belt. First album was released in 09/06/2007 and the second album was released in this year on 05/09/2008.

Moonlight Resonance
Friday, September 26, 2008

Yay~~~ I've finally finished watching the drama series Moonlight Resonance (溏心風暴之家好月圓). Actually, I finished it on Tuesday (23/09/08) hehe.... It was nice drama. Typical of a series with happy ending. But I like it. It was a succesfull drama as the rating was good. It is an indirect sequel to 2007's award winning series, Heart of Greed (溏心風暴). But I have not watched this.

Moonlight Resonance features most of the original cast members in the indirect prequel. The series is written and edited by Cheung Wah Biu and Sit Ga Wah. The series is solely sponsored by Kee Wah Bakery. (Source: Wikipedia)

The story revolves around a family (Or you might say two as the husband divorce the first wife & married a second wife) that opens a bakery shop that sells traditional chinese cakes & biscuits. The main theme is mooncakes. As this series is directed to release during the time of Mid Autumn Festival or Monncake Festival. I think thats why it got high ratings (Not that the cast is not good). Just that the theme & the festival add up make a good strategy for success.

I like how they give their children their names in the series. Their names are 家、好、月、圓、慶、中、秋 (In that order except for the last one as they only have 6 children. The last one is of the second wife's child from her first marriage.) It means that a family is together to celebrate the mooncake fastival. So meaningful. I'm not good at giving synopsis, so if anyone is curious to know you can go here.
