Sorry for the disappearance. I've been trying to catch up in Summer school. I have about a week left. Then, two weeks off before school starts.

Let me catch you up on what's been going on. The trial went well. Josh was sentenced to Juvie until he turns 21. He wasn't too happy about that. I'm kind of surprised there wasn't more since he practically interrupted me everytime I spoke a word on the witness stand and wasn't following the judge's orders. The funny thing is that during his testimony he gave up Tina. Said if he was going down, she should go down with him. They arrested her the next day. Right in front of her mom. Man, I wish I was there to see that.

I got another note for "A Fellow Outcast" which said: Can't wait until school starts, can you? Not sure what that means. I gave it to the police and I have feeling the first day of school is going to be really bad.

Eric's parents told him that they are lifting his punishment next week. Can't wait to see him.

I got a few dates mixed up. Friday wasn't the trial. It was a hearing to see if he should tried as an adult or juvenile. The guy told me he was 18, but he's my age. I guess he's not as mentally challenged as I thought he was.

Anyways, for whatever reason, the trial will be held in juvenile court. I wonder how his lawyer pulled that off. The actual trial is next Monday. I was told that I might not have to testify until Tuesday or Wednesday depending, but I still have to be present. Basically, I'll be missing almost an entire week of school for this jerk and he better get the book thrown at him or I'm going to be pissed.

Okay, so the trial is today and I am so nervous. I think this is like the worst day to have a trial on. I'm afraid that since it being Friday the 13th and all that Josh is going to get off on some technicality. You know how freaky stuff happens on this day.

I so hope he gets what he deserves. Wish me luck!

I finally got to see Eric yesterday. He's so miserable and I can't blame him. He turns 18 in November and I know he is counting down the days. It was still good to see him. I don't know why his parents let me, but I don't care. Hopefully, they'll let him out soon.

So the 4th of July BBQ wasn't all that bad. A couple of my cousins tried to kill each other over a stupid hamburger, but that's nothing new. They are always trying to kill each other for one stupid reason or another.

I got to go the carnival today. I had fun, but I would have had a better time if Eric could have come with me. I begged his parents to let him go. They wouldn't let him. It was so sad. I was walking to my car, which is fixed now...thank God, and I saw him staring out his window. He looked so depressed. I wish I could talk to him, but the way his parents are talking, I probably won't get to til school starts.

Josh's trial is next week. I have to testify so I get to miss school. Any other time, that would be a good thing, but since I have this "graduate early from school" goal, I really don't want to miss anything. I wish he would have plead not guilty and we wouldn't have to do this. He was always a stubborn asshole.

Not much going on. Just work, school, school, work. I haven't seen or talked to Eric lately. His parents have him on lock down. Seems pretty stupid. I know he ran away, but his parents knew exactly where he was going. If they were just reasonable and let him go, the whole situation wouldn't have taken place.

Well today is the 4th of July. My parents put together this big BBQ for friends, family and co-workers. It's always a snooze fest. I would rather go to the carnival than sit through this fake fiesta. Unfortunately, mom says since the carnival is in town for the rest of the week, I have to stay and play nice.

Please say a prayer for me. I'm going to need it. Oh and Happy Independence Day!
