| Yummy Toblerone CheeseCake Sunday. 7.8.07 12:44 pm Dear Diary,
Remember my last few post telling bout a new friend i met from Australia? She had introduced me to this Kraft website and immediately i falled in love with it.
J told me that the Toblerone Cheesecake is yummy, and they can get it at Australia but until today i never encounter one in Malaysia, hence on last Saturday i had decided to do some experiment.... and here u go...
My very first chilled cheesecake...
To tell u the truth... the taste is awesome however, i make some mistake because i bought the baking tin too big 11inch in which the recipe given is 22cm .. so ended up my cheesecake is a bit flat..
Here is the recipe
1. if your tin is too big, u can actually double up the ingriedient
2. i reduce the sugar to 1/3 cup instead of 1/2... and luckily i do so, because the chocolate is sweet....
thats all i had to say.. happy drooling

Monday. 7.23.07 2:38 am Dear Diary,
Yahoo, after 21 years + at last, i able to bring myself to attend a concert (although is not from famous singer that you can think about) but still it was wonderful to bring myself to attend this Penang World Music Festival 2007 despite the heavy downpour. By the way I love mother earth lol.
Okay, the event was held by Tourism Malaysia, Penang Tourism and Sarawak Tourism with lots of sponsors. And i attended the last day of the festival because idk, my friends all going there on sunday so i just tag along.. (but i do the driving).
I woke up on sunday morning, praying that they r no downpour however when the clock strike 5pm, heavy rain had visited us. I called my friends to ask whether they r going or not, but despite all the troublesome, we are still going...
I start my journey at 6pm and reach there at 630pm, and since we were early, we manage to park our car at the nearest spot (but cost me RM2). We bought the tickets on the spot (RM40 for adults, RM10 for childrens, RM20 for Students, Free for children below 6).
Without any delay, we bring ourself to the entrance of Taman Kuarri, Botanical Garden, but on the way up, we stop by a souvenir store and managed to grab a cap and a t-shirt for ourself... (luckily i do so).
When we reach our destination was around 7pm, lots of people had accumulated around the stage area, some brought their own chair, and raincoats, and of course we bring along our umbrella, since it was raining.
7pm, the blast of the speaker, the voice of the MC, had bring the stage up to life, everyone were so exicited jumping and "wow-ing". The 1st group that perform was Malaysian - Astika, however, after they finish their 1st song, the concert had to stop for a while (around 20min) due to the heavy rain n wind blast at Taman Kuarri.
And after 20 min, the concert continue with Malaysian - Astika, and one of my fav was joget, cause we dance along in the mud. By the way, i was standing right infront of the stage with umbrella on.. After the Malaysian - Astika performance at the main stage, they switch to a smaller stage which the place i stand cant see it clearly. Hence we just sway with the music in play...
And after that, the South Africa group was up to entertain us with their traditional music instrument and plays... (one word to describe BRAVO)... they make us laugh, sing, and dance along.. with umbrella on... By that time, the crowds were uncontrollable, a group of young teens and foreigners that purposely attend the concert was dancing away, singing along and wow in the mud.
45min laters, they switch to a small stage again as usual we dont bother to look but sway with the music, and during that time, there was this guy from Syney invite me for a dance LMAO, yeah i joined in the fun and dance with him... he is crazy... so funny and lol we laugh alot.
And something that i enjoyed the most in the whole concert was from Singapore, WickedAura i mean the music blast u away and you dance, and wow with them all along. The lead singer actually make fun of the crowd by saying, the left and right of the crowd were crazy n noisy, but the crowd behind was sleeping.. cause they show no response... Best music... loving it.. And i saw a lengcai, happen to be a guy's bro.. and we was chatting away and managed to take a pic with that lengcai and his bro... lol
And later the small stage with Idk, cause i cant see but sway.... and next was the Italian group, maybe due to language barrier we cant understand his joke... but the music was a bit calm but very nice too... by that i time i shut off my umbrella and dance along (i get my self wet with the rain water lol)... The funniest part of the Italian group was the last song ( i think ) where he hound like a wolve and guess what i hound along..... muahahha...
After this group, it is the end of the concert as what the MC said, when he said good bye, we say NO..... lol and soon, the Finale of the festival started with group from Solomon Island and continued from different countries and etc.....
And the dancer off the stage was getting uncontrollable as they started to kick and dance at the mud pool behind us....
later, when the stage turned into darkness, we know it is time to say good bye, i manage to get hold of that Sydney guy and wish him good bye and good nite... (by the way he actually bring rum to the concert).
Slowly, we move our tired legs to the car park and off we go to McD drive through to get our supper. I reach home around 2am after sending my friend home..... Thats all for the story... Of course my blog wont end without pictures... here you go... do enjoy.

Bon Odori - A festival celebrated by the Japanese Tuesday. 7.24.07 11:40 am Dear Diary,
What will u looking for when the summer strike in Malaysia? (although it seem to be summer all year long) Yes, the Bon Odori festival that celebrated by the Japanese in Malaysia which held at both Penang and KL-Shah Alam.
Last year i been to KL-Shah Alam's Bon Odori, it was interesting despite the traffic jam. Upon arrival i saw a big tall stage where the dancers occupied to dance around the drum. However the foods was abit dissapointing. But overall was great.. and not to miss or to forget.
This year on the 21 July 2007, I'm in Penang so eventually i wont miss out the fun of Bon Odori here, since i never been there although i been staying here for centuries.. lmao..
Me n my friend reach there around 7pm due to the jam and the fans were "sold out" .. lol so we hang around and look around the booth and enjoying the dances.
However when the clock strike 7.30pm, cloud accumulated and it started to rain so we walked in the rain to a near by store for our dinner (since the foods at Bon Odori was not promising). Of course before we start moving to get our food, i bought a big belon that end up became the center of attraction to a mamak store that i dine in.
I bring the belon all along the road, and everyone was watching at me, and when i reach the mamak store, i let my belon sit on one chair and everyone was staring, including the waiter trying to poke my belon ..@@
Worse still, after eating, my friend asked me to wait outside the shop, and this tourist, was staring when i walked out and finally he said... is fragile... lol i told him my belon move towards the earth not the sky since it cant float. And i told him that he can get the belon at Bon Odori Festival few blocks away... and guess what, he actually walked towards the festival... muahahah (im good at promoting... lmao)
Okay, after the dinner, we walked back to the festival since the rain had stop and joined by another 2 friends, and upon arrival at the festival again, i was busy snapping pictures and i move closer to the stage and enjoying the dance in the near distance...
The music was nice, but repeated every now and then, and it actually adapted our local song too... Rasa Sayang...
"Rasa sayang, hey! Rasa sayang sayang hey,
Hey lihat nona jauh, rasa sayang sayang hey."
the last few dance was interesting, they r from Malaysia Penang Japanese Something something Hibiscus group that dance with kids as young as 5 years old... they are so damn cute....
And soon the dance end, the needle hit 9.30pm, fireworks were display for 3 minutes, and everyone was wowing and ccheering..... and i was busying capturing it into video form... lol
Before i end my words, allow me to present u with the pictures that i had taken during my visit...
upon arrival
Belons...
Catch a gold fish...
Look at the sky
The dance, dancers
