There's nothing like looking at a pay check and seeing how much money you're NOT getting bc it goes into taxes.

I enjoy going college shopping, even if it is by myself, coming home with good buys, stuff I need and money to spare. *feeling like a growwwwwn up*

I think gaterade has some addictive drug in it that makes u want to drink it more and more once u start.

I really really really need to clean my room/closet/bathroom TODAY! (but I doubt I can) Going out for the "last supper" with the gang at El Rodeo or Neato Burrito but I'll be back no later than 9pm. Then tomorrow I have work, bake a bday cake, court's dinner at 6 till ?. Sleep. Wake up and pack, leave by 1pm for SRU. I really need a day to sleep in but that isn't possible for the next 3 weeks... I am exhausted.

It's a week full of working since I will be gone into the wilderness or at least camping at the school's ski lodge for 4 days (with technically no cell phone, eeek). Last nite I woke up around 2am and couldn't get back to sleep till 4, then woke up againnn around 7. sheeesh. Dunno what was going on there. Work was fine, my tips are all going into the bank so the $12 today that used to excite me is not so exciting anymore. How long can a nexk spasm last? We're going on day 3 now. I'm about to go pick up Tim for another discussion with the missionaries. Then home by 6pm to give my dad the car and who knows what. I need to go shopping for necessities for this outdoor orientation, send out thank you cards and cleeeeeeeean my room! mm I looove showers and then slipping into some comfy clothes. mm I also love chicken tenders and walks, which reminds me that last nite's excursion was delicious. mm I also love falling asleep on the phone. *srcs* hmph that's it for now.

Today I had the first ever conversation with my brother that was almost resembling a picturesque talk between two siblings. It was almost surreal, but amazingly cool. We never talked much before except about stuff in his life that he was unahppy about or occasionally our parents, but that was it. He's 24 and I am 18 and that is as much as we have ever talked. However today marked a new revelation in our relationship. We talked about me more than him, about my life, my choices and experiences that I have or want to endure. He gave me some very wise, optimistic but truthful advise from his own experience (some of which I never knew he had). I really began to admire him and finally, for the first time, look up to him. He WILL always be there to talk and that is how a brother/sister relationship should be. He never got to be the protective brother while he was living in our house. I kind of anticipated him to be a little more protective or weary, but really, he was amazingly supportive and knows me a lot better than I thought.

He then went into some other areas... but I think he was more uncomfortable talking about them than I was so it didn't last long. It's good to have a brother again.

Brrrr... it's cold! But I love the feeling of fall and that is what it feels like. Yesturday was really nice outside too, cool, a slight breeze but sunny. After talking to the missionaries with Tim, I came home for a bit then met up with folks at Harbour but once the dude started singing we had to leave bc it was too loud. So, we meandered by foot over to Giant and chilled in the lil chinese cafe eating area. Quite a random collection of purchased foods- sushi, won ton soup, chex mix, a muffin, iced tea, choc milk. Sat and talked there till 10, then walked back to our cars n came home. Now off to work to work on this blustery morning with a homemade cinnamon bun in my stomach (take the center one! it'll be softer to chew) hehe my dad's always thinking of me. dang I'm gonna miss him. adios.
