WHAT a day! (and all I wanted to do was tell you all about it... way for surprise visitors to cancel that idea) but since the days, now more like hours are numbered I must take advantage of these last precious moments with the amigos. LIKE tonight! We were just planning on going for a stroll... but that turned into a whole nite fiasco when we found a stray kitten and ended up bringing it to my house and then my rents fell in love with it bc they are compassionate like that. So now, please welcome the newest member to our family, ________. We need a name still. more happened today but that is the most exciting and I am not tired but I should try to catch some shut eye. Sweet dreams sweetheart, I'll see you there.

Things are already changing... because most people change when they go off to college, and most people change when they are left behind for a bit too. It's hard enough to find time to stay in touch let alone feel like ur actually being listened to. I guess that is just part of the deal. It's hard to know the truth, tell it, and then not be listened to either just bc the other person is not ready to hear it so they take it out on you. It's all part of the game I guess... I just didn't realize that when they say, "u don't stay friends with ur high school buds most of the time" they really meant it. Lunch was nice, thanks. Work was of course enjoyable. Talking with Caitlin T at the ICC was lovely. Now... going out shopping with the pops for school supplies I think.

I feel like I am dreaming and the only thing I am wishing for is not to be woken. Everything is falling into place, perfectly and oddly familiar. (hence my concern that I am really in some hospital bed in a coma or something just dreaming) The Outdoor Adventure at SRU was incredible! I achieved wayyy more than I ever expected to, opened up a whole new door for me and just completed the awesomeness of the college. So, of course I am looking foward to moving in and starting a different life there and nothing, except one thing, is even close to being a downside of going there. (and the down thing has nothing to do with the school) However, since life thus far has treated me extremely well and proved on countless occasions that 'everything happens for a reason' I trust that this is just another 'just cause' that will result in something amazing. (although I dunno how anything could get more amazing than it is right now) My parents continue to surprise me with their awesomeness and thiiiis whole thing never ceases to amaze me. "When everything falls into place and things seem to be going perfectly, it is life's way of telling u that u are on the right path"- mom on the car ride home.

One word... magical.

Packing up my stuff... 4 days till move in.

*breath* ooooooook. So! Today I went to work. I'm going in tomorrow too until I have to leave for SRU. After work I went to my car and it has been giving me trouble this past week with the key not wanting to turn in the ignition... I thought it was just my key so my dad started the car this morning with his. However, neither key worked after work. So finally after 20 min of trying on my own I went inside and asked Mr. George to help me. He finally got it but told me not to turn the car off till I got home. Good plan except I needed to get gas desperately. So I drive to Sunoco and of couuurse after I get gas I can't start the car up again. My rents were in Harrisburg and all so they couldn't come help either. So I sat at the gas pump for a good embarrasing 30 min not being able to turn the damn car on. Finally after forming a blister on my thumb from trying, I get the key to work. Drive home and storm into the house as my dad realizes... yea I really cannot get the keys to work. They let me use mom's car to drive to Ash's for her going away party. Hanged there for an hour er so. Came home and PACKED! Dang that took a long time! It was so hard to pack everything, and decide on what I actually needed. I have everything they mentioned on the list and only that stuff.. no extras. Still it came out to be 2 bags, my purse plus sleeping bag, pillow and ground pad. Shitload. Shoes and bowls take up sooooooo much room! It's the little things u'd never think about, hehe. So now that my room looks like a tornado went thru and I have no time to clean anything (but of course bc my mom is the coolest, she said not to worry about it, which means she will clean my room and everything while I am gone, hope she doesn't find anything haha... I am off to take a shower before going to Court's for her going away dinner. Then after that, hanging out with Li before I leave, then sleep, then work, then driving for 4 1/2 hours. whew. Farewell, to those sparse number of ppl that read this blasted thing, till Friday!
