Hmmm...as you probably guess from the title of this entry and I am feeling much happier now :) You prob wonder why...well this week is one of those up-down weeks and yeh... Today is sunday morning and it is a beautiful 24 degs in Perth and I luv it! I am actually looking forward to going to work because it is so nice outside. *grinz* Yesterday at work I was a bit exhausted because 2 nights ago I went to The Red Sea in Subiaco (Fri). It was meant to be a "dinner" night with Mel, Gail, Jase and Shelz but instead we ended up at the lounge bar, dancing the whole night through.

It was really good! I have never seen so many model looking guys and girls and I bet most of those guys were gay. Lucky for Jason ;) But he had a couple of tipples and it is soooo farni how gay guys turn straight under the influence. :p The night before (Thurs) I dragged Tiff, Yo and Vira to Luxe bar...I have been such a night owl lately...but no drinks! So I'm such a good girl...I've been the designated driver and have had 2 breatherlizer tests in the past 3 days! Got pulled over on Thurs night for having my high beams on. WHOOPZ! :p Not too sure how to use my dad's car that's why...

But both night involved a lot of laughs, chatting and just chillin'. It is all good. But next week it's back to uni. It's terrible how they do this to us. Give us one week break after every 3 weeks, it breaks the "study" cycle. If there ever was one. :p My legs and ass are so sore from the dancing...but I think I got a lot of exercise. Yay! I have not been to the gym in a while...so yeh...this is my "other" exercise regime.

Oh yeh soooooo Friday, Saturday and now SUNDAY I have work and I can't believe I feel so awake and ready for the day...after all those sleepless nights! Most of the nights ended around 2am so it isn't too bad. Saturday they took my outta checkouts and I worked bakehouse and meat dept...not bad...didn't have to deal with many customers. Hehehehe...but had to walk around heaps and my fingers were frozen stocking meat. Brrrrrrrrr...the day went by so fast! That's how I like it.

On Sat after work I went to my boo's house. It was the first time! Hehehe I feel so privileged :) Played Gamecube and saw his photos and graphic design works. It was really fun! Also met his bros and his doggie....awww..I wanna take him home! The doggie I mean...hehehe. Twas cool...

Now I have sunday, my parents are at the Royal Show. NO FAIR! :/ And I have to work...but oh wells. Not like I have much money to spend on the show anyways. It would be nice though...it only comes once a year - showbags, rides, animals, fairy floss, games and more!!! *sniff* Hehehe...wanna be a kid again *^_^*

These past few days I haven't really been my happy self, but I have realised a couple of small things that do make me happy. It's always good to have those in mind, so wheneva you are down you can find that "thing" to do and your mind will not be so sad anymore.

What does it for me...
1) The movie 'Love on a Diet' starring andy lau and sammi cheng. It is the sweetest, most funniest and cutest movie on this planet. Next to 'my sassy girl'...hehe :)
2) Cartoons, kids shows. I watched 'A shark's tale' with my friends and that certainly made me feel better, that movie is so funny. Can be a kids flick and for the adults too.
3) Hugging my mum. Somehow she seems to get rid of all the sadness by just hugging me and being "stupid" with me...she likes to joke around :)
4) Seeing my friends,
5) Old friends calling me out of the blue. I always like to a good chat. I just realised the importance of 'small talk' - it's charming, witty and doesn't go too deep.

mood: sleepy

Good morning! What lovely weather outside here in Perth...I have to go out today hehe.How was everyone's weekend? It was pretty good for me...got to see and catch up with most of my friends. On Saturday, it was bbq at Tiff's house. Then Sat night, Harbourside Freo with the lumeners (new place)

That was a funny night. I dunno what it was but yea...even though the plan was pretty messed, cuz nobody was organising it...I ended up ok with being allowed to drive my Dad's V8 holden statesman. It was scary but fun hehehe...I'm such a rev head! My mum was a bit worried about me driving a big car. Cuz my lil bro had taken my mirage. At Harbourside the girls got a sexy couch upstairs and we stayed there for most of the night chillin'. Gail and Mel were getting tipsy and it was hella funny the things they were saying hehe. I was also quite hypo and we laughed so much, the bar tender was wondering what's going on? Jason soon came down and joined us. All these guys were staring at him, wondering how he got all those chicks. hehe! But the thing is Jason is gay...maybe cuz he was looking straighter than usual that night.

It was raining by the end of the night. Got home around 3am, Mel wasn't feeling too good so Gail and I helped her out. Jason had gone home early. On Sunday, I went to work...bloodshot eyes! Haha! But went out AGAIN! I didn't really want to, but we kept turning down the invite from Jason a number of times to go with him to THE COURT (friendly queer club). Felt kinda bad and so we thought we'd just see how it was like and go home. For me... the environment was very fun, friendly, colourful and casual. Nice...but for Mel and Gail I think it was a bit intimidating. But we looked like the straightest girls there! :p I am kinda used to the scene because it resembles what I watch on 'Queer as folk'. I saw Kerry Rogers too, a friend from primary school, she looks so different and I knew she was lesbian but haven't talked to her in ages! It wasn't strange becuz there aren't many things considered 'strange' to me anymore. She is still friendly and nice, had her hair in dreads and was wearing surfie clothes, but then she was always a surfie chick.

The scene frm QAF closely resembled connections, that's where we went to after The Court closed at 10pm. Music reminds me of raves, tech, hard core beats etc. It can get a bit full-on after a while. The environment of drag queens, hots guys with effeminate voices, shirts off, fast dancing was daunting. It is like the RISE but the gay version. hmmm...

My mum was not too happy with two nights in a row of not being at home. At least I got home by 12am on sunday. A few places I miss atm...the LUXE bar and The Church. Might get around to those places this week, depends if I finish off my uni work. :p This was definitely an 'experience' but I dunno whether this is my kinda hangout..of course it isn't DUH - I'm straight! hehehe...but it was fun :)

mood: the feeling of popping plastic bubble wrap



I am getting so lazy with blogging...hehehe. I have my diary (book) to update also. I planning to give murasaki*dream another 2 more pgs. And once it hits 20 pgs I think I may design/set-up a new one. It will be sad because I dunno what I will do with all these entries! :/

Today was a nice day...lovely sunny weather. Made me wanna smile from ear to ear ^_^ I guess the week has been great ever since I handed in that bloody HR assignment (3000 words!) on Thursday. That wed night I stayed in the uni labs till 11pm! Pretty crazy! Cuz I had an 8.30pm class,finally said hi to my friend who I met off friendster, Brenda. She is so nice and easy to talk to. These days are kinda reminding me of my old self, the one that is always active and not afraid of meeting new people and new situations. :) I was stuck in a comfort zone for a while...but I'm realising I need a bit of action or challenge in my life, a "DRIVE".

Straight after the class I handed in my assignment. Then got ready for an interview at one of those recruitment centers. I was so NERVOUS! I'm not usually that type of person, but it has been like a year since my last interview. Scarryyyy... my heart was like jumping at my throat, my legs wouldn't stay still. It was a nightmare! But I had my nails done nicely, ironed the crisp white shirt, black pants, done my hair in a bun and light make-up. My lil bro said encouraging 'Jai you actually look nice'. Hahaha. A BIG compliment coming from him!

When I got home the interviewer told me she would pass me onto the client for another interview. And so this morning before I went to woolies I met with the private company HR manager. It was a good experience...just listening to those "foreseen" questions and making up BS for it. :p I think she liked me..but I dunno whether she'll wanna see me again. I was too bubbly. :)) Straight after I had to rush off to work and didn't eat for the whole day so by the end of the shift I was falling against my bag-rack...hahaha!

Had to train a new girl too at work, was fun and she was so nice. :) I liked work today. Customers may been wondering why I was such a bubble-button. :p Cuz I was like fully "sunny", even though the day was so frickin' busy and everyone was stressing. I kinda enjoyed the conversations with my customers. I learnt a lot of new things!

Now really dead-beat tired and looking forward to a friend's bbq tm. I shall be the salad girl. Typical me...to bring the greens! They may hate me for it. :p Hope ya'll have a fantastic weekend! I'm off uni next week! WOOHOO! And guess who's in town - GAIL!!!! LOL! Hmmm...sleepness nights full of dancing, partying, movies and shopping. mmm...excellentttt @_@
