Well, after a long deserved rest (well somewhat deserved), its time to get back to work and wind this semester down. Some of my grades in my classes are almost too good or better than expected. Others are on the borderline. None failing happily. None of them will be failing.
I'm just amped up for break during Christmas. I'm gonna sleep like a biatch and have some fun too. Where is my damn LAN party? I am ready to OWN it. Ask Chris, I was dominate when we played that one night. I'm wanna cap Mr. Sydnor or some other hapless victim while they sit beside me. There is nothing like gaming against people in the same room. Squeals of horror from across the room after you shoot them in the face....with a redeemer. Chris knows that feeling all too well (invisibility, less gravity, redeemer, 3 tower level....no explanation necessary).
I'm still knee deep in gaming goodness right now. I'm lovin quarter 4 still.
The Screensavers(TSS) have sunken into a lower level of crap than ever before. The host is now the ass that hosts Pulse and Arena, Kevin Pereira, alongside some woman they picked up off the street. Just go to Kevin's site and read up at
http://www.kevinrose.com/.
Now comes the segment I like to call Bitch About Work. This is where I will list things that happen or don't happen at work and need to be shared with the masses. This is kind of like a regular entry by Tyler.
1) I get to work on time and nobody else does. I can't punch my time card because my supervisor is late. I'm there bitch, its not my fault.
2) Supervisor doesn't show up at all. Doesn't let anyone know where he is. I had to get a key to the lab to unlock it today, making my punch-in time late.
3) I call my supervisor's cell phone to find out he's not coming today, he took a random day off because he has so many hours to be able to skip work and he has to get rid of them before 2004 ends.
4) The person that's *supposed* to be working with me today also decides not to show up. Never heard from her. It hasn't happened once or twice, its constantly going on.
5) After all that is said and done, nobody even comes into the lab for the 5 hours I was there. No tests were scheduled and nobody came to work while I was there except me. Maybe not too much complaint there, getting paid to do nothing, but if there were no tests and nobody else came to work: Why did I have to be the one to miss out on sleeping in?
6) I can't even eat or drink in the lab, even when its empty. I did it anyways today. But I couldn't leave the lab at all to go get anything or go to the bathroom because nobody was there to watch the lab. We have at least 2 people scheduled to work at the same time for a reason, so we can take care of our "personal needs" when we have to.
7) The person I work with is annoying and will not shut up for anything. No more to that, that was all I had to say about that.
8) Being in the lab, by myself after 10 AM on Fridays, when there are over 300 tests scheduled to be taken blows.
9) I walk into my supervisor's office to ask him for some help with the students taking tests. I just ask him to setup a computer for this girl to take her test while I am handling the 20 other people up front. He does it and then returns to his office, knowing I still have all these people out there. He's not doing anything important. I walk in and he is on his computer checking email, listening to music, eating a danish, and drinking his cup of coffee. For some reason he can have food. He'll walk in the front door with his open coffee container so we can smell it. Bastard.
10) The person I really get along with and talk to alot in the lab is a girl named Jane. Seeing as her and I get along, naturally we only work together for 2 hours on Fridays. Instead I get person who doesn't show up, or when she does show up an hour or two late, whines and bitches about any and everything.
Man, I can rant when I want to. Haven't done an entry this size in a while.
My brother's LEGO team came here to ODU the Saturday before last and had their competition. They won second in the competition(the actual running on the table), and second in their presentation. That qualified them for the state competition in Blacksburg this weekend. I'm gonna be heading up with his team and the team's family member's up to Blacksburg on the charter bus. Should be good. I went last year too.
I bought a portable DVD player for the ride on Black Friday. Black Friday, for those who don't know, is the day after Thanksgiving when all the big sales occur. I headed down to Wal-Mart at 5:45 that morning. It was so freakin crazy there. They had pyramids of these regular DVD players that where on sale in front of all the grocery aisles. People were toting 6 or 7 on their arms. You'd see a trampoline and bicycles rolling by. There was also a sea of people crowding around Wal-Mart associates with boxes of new release DVD's. They would announce a title and just start flinging them into the crowd. Needless to say, I worked my way to electronics and got my portable DVD player and a regular DVD player for my mom for Christmas.
They said a fight broke out last year. A man was pushing 3 carts full of electronics and what not around. Somebody distracted the guy and his accomplice took his front cart away. So they had a few more officers in the store this time. I lucked up and got what I needed and all the express lanes were empty because people were buying too much crap.
I need to either buy some DVD's for the trip or bootleg some and burn them to DVD. I think I'll go buy Spiderman 2, maybe Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and perhaps the first season of Chappelle's Show. We'll see how it goes.
Whew, that was a long one. I felt inspired. It's now 12:29 AM Tuesday Nov 30th. Let's see what today has in store. Right now, sleep. For nostalgic purposes, I will end this entry with my old ending.
Anyways, bye jackass.

It's times like these you learn to live again
It's times like these you give and give again
It's times like these you learn to love again
It's times like these time and time again
Well after that last entry I wrote and accidentally closed, I think I got a little pissed at it and didn't feel like doin an entry lately.
Don't feel like doing this one, but I'm forcing myself to. So, whateva.
I'm downloading a bunch of stuff to burn on to DVD's. Lots of fun. Let's see, I downloaded the Float On video from Modest Mouse, another video with them performing Ocean Breathes Salty on Conan, The Reason and Same Direction from Hoobastank, and a bunch of Green Day ones. I made a "backup" of Kill Bill Vol. 1. Trying to find a good version of Team America to burn to DVD. I've found some versions, but they just aren't good enough.
I saw Team America again by the way. Great movie. I downloaded the soundtrack and know most, if not all, the lyrics. I also saw The Incredibles. It was alright, but Team America was way funny and more to my liking.
Who else thinks this quarter in gaming is one of the best ever? I'm on the bandwagon. Half-Life 2, Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Viewtiful Joe 2, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. What a list of sequels huh? The thing is, they are all GOOD. GREAT even.
Oh and that little device, the Nintendo DS, is out. I've been playin around with it for a week or so now. Too bad I don't have anyone around to play with pictochat or the Metroid Prime: Hunters First Hunt. Mostly been playing Super Mario 64. I must say, I miss the N64 control stick. I mean it looks great, but the controls can sometimes leave you a bit wanting. I am pleased at this moment, being able to play an N64 ported game on a handheld with visuals that still stun me a bit. All I can say is, one portable down. One to go.
I'm tired. I have a test tomorrow. I need to study. Eh. I'll do it tomorrow morning.

Official I'm Back on the Internet Entry
Thursday. 11.11.04 10:49 pm
Well I'm back again and I've forgotten how to write blog entries. So this is a half ass attempt. I ended up buying a new computer. I laid down 600 bucks. Yeah, that was fun. Here's the system spec's:
Emachines T3256
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
512 MB DDR SDRAM
160 GB Hard Drive
Dual Layer DVD-RW
8-in-1 Media Raeder
etc....
So its a pretty decent machine. I was kinda surprised. So anyways, thats what I'm on right now.
G4TechTV has really pissed me off now. I don't even want to go into it. Just go to KRose's blog,
www.kevinrose.com.
I've also been working on those songs you guys suggested. Just Pervert Nurses and Silently Screaming. I'll get those done soon, maybe. I'm out.

Laughing So Hard, I Was Crying
Monday. 11.1.04 7:37 pm
So a little bit more of an update. Computer is still not back. I'm getting pissed off.
I finished helping my mom move. We moved like a mile down the road. Bigger house and all. Its cool I guess. So, whatever.
Josh and I went to Franklin Saturday night and had Chinese food. It was pretty good, except we had to shovel it in really quick to get back on the road. We headed to Harbour View Grande 16 in Suffolk. Kick ass theater with reclining seats and its clean, just awesome. He had some free tickets his dad got from somewhere. So we went there and caught the 9:05 PM show that night for Team America: World Police. We got into the theater and there was like 8 people in there. I like it when its not crowded. We got all loud and everything, that was fun. I mean everyone in there was cool. I swear, I have not laughed so much in a long while. I can't even describe all the things in the movie that was hilarious. They picked on so many different people. You must see it, you have to see it. We actually wanted to go see it the next day with more of those free tickets with Josh's dad.
Well, thats a little update. I'll be on my roommate's computer on occasion, make sure to talk to me. I have no idea whats goin on with anybody. So yeah.
I'm out.
