Tomorrow is the BIG day. Thanks to one of my best LP buddies, Carolyn, we're going to see Linkin Park @ Nissan. I'm super hyped!!!

My mom's bday is tomorrow. I don't have a present for her because I don't have enough money for that bag I wanted to buy her. I know it's the thought that counts, but still... I'll just have to go with plan B.

I was talking to someone that brought up the subject of why teachers are paid less than other people. Children are generally known as the future leaders of tomorrow, but teachers secure their future. Does that mean that my second grade teacher taught me volcabulary from the "goodness" of her heart? She obviously didn't do it because of her salary. She deserves to earn more. I liked her a lot, but I'm very "if"y about the way my high school teachers teach esp. Biology. How can he possibly get "best all around teacher" award?! I demand a recount of the votes till this day.

I went driving today. I'm kind of shaky since I haven't driven for like a month and a half. I was doing good until I was trying to make this turn, when this big van popped out of nowhere in front of me. My instructor pressed the break hard. She claimed that I was speeding to fast and would've hit the car. ARGHHH... I still think that I would've made it past the damn car!!! Ok, maybe I did kind of speed but I'm in the state of denial. It pisses me off that, at this rate, I won't be able to drive even if I do get my license.

I hope I actually go to bed tonight at a reasonable time. Psshh... Like there is a reasonable time in the summer, but not sleeping till 6-7am is a really bad habit. I try thinking that I'll sleep off half the day if I don't stop, but I don't have much to do the next day anyways at least till I get my license. I'll just let my habit take its course. Anyways I was thinking about a quote from my year book:

"School is a woman you can't divorce"~ by someone

Haha, true to that. Except for me it's a man.

Back from Taiwan. I want to go back, but I'm broke. My wallet is exhausted from all the dept stores that surrounded my family. We stayed at the capital, Taipei, where there are stores designated for girls to shop till they drop. My fav shopping spots are the night markets that open till 2 in the morning. Besides shopping, my brother and I were spoiled by our grandparents like crazy. Then, we went to this city on the northeast seaside of Taiwan, known for gold mining back in the day, for some sight seeing. After that, we went to Fisherman's Wharf where my fam was soaked on the boat ride due to some stormy weather conditions. Fortunately, the sun came out after we got off the boat. We also visited the National Palace Museum, where the drawings are truly wowza esp the ones from the Sung Dynasty. Final conclusion, the trip was very nice. I will be back.
