FDA approves new wrinkle cream Saturday. 12.2.06 12:08 pm The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Restylane ®, an injection for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, the lines between the nose and mouth.
Restylane ® is the first and only FDA-approved dermal filler made of a biodegradable non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA(TM)). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in all living organisms and provides volume and fullness to the skin.
Restylane ® is formulated as a clear gel and uses a dual mechanism of action to correct wrinkles and folds. Upon being injected beneath the skin's surface, the NASHA gel adds natural volume and lift to smooth wrinkles and folds. The NASHA gel integrates into dermal tissue then attracts and binds to water molecules to help maintain volume. Restylane is gradually degraded by the body's own mechanism and disappears without any residue. Results can be seen immediately following treatment and last six months, or even longer.
IT SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD BUT WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
Possible side effects: No serious side effects are known as yet, but minor ones can include inflammation, bruising, and swelling at the injection site, and bumpiness or lumpiness after injection. Allergies are rare, notes Dr. Moy.
NO SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS? WELL IF YOU LOOKED LIKE A CREATURE BEFORE THE TREATMENT I GUESS IT WOULD BE OK. Comment! My son asked me today, "mommy, what is black friday." I told him that it was the day after thanksgiving and he was not satisfied with that answer. So I looked it up.
The term refers to accounting books going from being in the "red" to being in the "black". The day after thanksgiving marks the first day of the holiday season. People begin shopping and stores begin to offer bargins. In other words, the stores finally start making a profit. Comment! The boy was 14 and the girl was 12. As of August this makes a total of 5 suicides of related nature.
The girl jumped from the eighth floor because she was being bullied about her height. The hung himself after his classmates tried to take money from him. Additionally a head teacher has been found hanged in a forest after he was criticised over his response to an extortion incident involving a pupil at his school.
Last week several school children wrote to the education minister threatening to kill themselves.

In the ongoing debate about growing income inequality in America — the top 10 percent of families grabbed 43 percent of income in 2004 vs. 33 percent in 1980 — some have argued that America needs a more progressive tax system, both to share the wealth and to help deal with the government's long-term budget woes. When the Bush tax cuts on income and investments end in 2010, plenty of liberals and budget hawks will surely argue that they should not be extended. (This is going to be a huge issue in the 2008 presidential campaign.)
But those who want a flatter, less-progressive system argue that wealth, to a great extent, reflects productivity, and so more productive people should face lower tax rates as an incentive to produce even more. A more productive economy will grow faster, and that's the best way to deal with fiscal problems.
Consider this: What if it's luck rather than ability that plays the greatest role inof people's success? Some studies have shown that inequality among family members, people who share genetic traits, is not much different from that of the general population. Why should we subsidize the lucky with lower taxes?
But a recent study from Harvard University's Graduate Business School found that skill is indeed an important factor in success. The study looked at entrepreneuers, a third of whom are in the top 1 percent of American earners.
