Welcome to Not Getting Run Over By A Forklift 101. For our first lesson we'll... ack! No. NO! What a terrible way to start the class!

But aren't solar-powered vampires a bit impractical?

Did you know I have somewhere around one hundred forty entires?

The primary function of the United States Coast Guard (besides protecting the borders and patroling national waters) is to travel back in time and battle pirates!

1948. That would be my high score on the helicopter game. I have to kill the person that invented it. Seems like I have to kill a lot of people these days.

The only interesting thing that happened today was Jeopardy in Bio, which I completely screwed up. I didn't know the answer to a total of four questions, three of which were actually mine. The first time I got called up, I was with Jun. He got to pick the question. I believe it was ears for 100. I figured I had it easy, since it was 100 points... but I didn't know the answer to "What is the formation of cartilage on the outer ear called?". I sat down and resumed my answering questions in my seat. Soon it was my turn again and I knew I had to redeem myself, so I went for neurotransmitters for 1000 (we got to double jeopardy). "What is the neurotransmitter associated with Parkinsons' Disease?" Crap! I knew it was either dopamine or acetylcholine, but I chose acetylcholine, as it had to do with muscle contraction. (It just donned on me that Parkinsons' is mind related... goddammit) But, I was deeply saddened as I walked back to my seat. Somewhere in the middle of that, I answered one of the one's nobody else knew semi-incorrectly, in that the taste buds are on the pinnae and the pinnae aren't technically chemoreceptors. Finally, I got my chance to redeem myself... a second time. I was facing off against Jun again and I swore I'd kill him if he picked one I didn't know. Now, I don't remember this question, since I did actually know the answer, I just wasn't fast enough to slap my hand on the damn cart and say "What is a reflex." Well, at least the rightful person won today. ^.^ I can't deny the fact that I'm not anywhere near the smartest person in the class.

Yeah, that's about it. Track was dull, just long jump and high jump. No meet tomorrow, but I have one on Friday.

Lots of annoying stuff happened today, but since you probably don't care, I'll shorten it to one thought. I'm not buff. Thank you for not noticing.

I spent a whole lot of time doing something completely useless today. The person I was doing it for wasn't too happy to hear about my background "help"... I say "help" since I've realized that it was kind of stupid for me to try to do anything to prevent it. I would write a poem, but I think I already have one about this type of thing... That's the problem with having so many poems I guess.

Not buff! Let's see, track was pretty bad. I had an hour to work on batton passes while everyone else was doing a two hour workout. After I finished, I got to run the workout myself. Even though I finished in about forty-five minutes, I was pretty dead. Y'know. Chapped lips, drained face, coughing and hacking due to lack of water (which surprises me), etcertera, etcetera.

Here's a bit of flash that I found to be horribly funny. I hope you don't feel the same way, since most people call me stupid anyways. But, you might as well watch it for kicks. The End of the World

The last two days have been pretty dull. All that I've done that truly interests me is finished the Da Vinci Code. I had to live through a terribly boring day at school during which I admitted to drinking copious amounts of water (don't ask), got Mr. Phillips pissed at me, got the Bio sub to refer to me as "Zimmerman" the entire period and continually tell me to pay attention to the movie, forgot to finish my Algebra 3-4 readiness test, and... well that's about it, but I want to complain about something else.

Let's see... what else happened? I guess I've been thinking over my "relationship" status ("relationship" refers to not having one) and I realized I've had some rather... sullying thoughts, assuming that is a valid word choice. I really don't know where I was going beyond that... well, I do, but I don't like making password protected entries and I don't want some people to hear it. Sucks for you, eh?

Hmm... I just shot a can of icing and it flew into my foot... I have a red trail in my backyard and a semi-purple toe! Gosh, doesn't that make you hungry for some reason? Well, if I were me, I'd go clean it up right now... but I'm obviously not, so I think I'll go clean it up (I don't have any idea what I just said either, don't feel left out). After that, poem time! *dramatic reverb*

I'm not really sure how to describe today. I woke up around ten and resolved to finish a game I started a few years ago and have spent upwards of fifty hours playing over them - but I didn't. I don't really have the heart to end a legacy like that, even if I was the only one involved. That's probably why I've only finished about three videogames in total.

At any rate, I spent from sometime around two o'clock until about fifteen minutes ago reading The Da Vinci Code and read an astonishing total of around two hundred pages! Sometimes I wonder where my quickness in reading went, but then I realize that I remember and I get angry... But, to get back on the subject, it has to be one of my favorite books of all time. I was doing a little research, though, and it was greatly disturbing to find out that someone else (I don't remember who) claims that they wrote the book a number of years ago and it was published and that Brown plagiarized the novel. Personally, I can't see for the life of me how that could happen with all the regulations placed by publishing houses these days...

Well, that was quite a rant... I'd like to impress upon you all the importance of my family name in relation to the book also, just for kicks. On page one hundred ninety-nine, paragraph four "Zimmerman" is used when the main male character,"Robert",is describing the great cryptographers of the world. The only facet that forces me to hold it with less significane is that the "Zimmerman" Brown refers to, while German, has a tendency to have the last "n" dropped off from his name, thus making me an unimportant person once more.

What else? My odd ability to remember dreams hasn't left yet, and their focus on two people I hold very closely hasn't shifted either (even though I don't think either one thinks of me in the same light). And I found my wallet with my money still inside at, you guessed it, Safeway. It pays to do your own groceries... No pun intended.

I love it when Amazon makes their delivery estimates wrong and they turn out in your favor. Not only did I get a CD I've been wanting, but I got a fun, time-wasting game. Just the thing I need to get pissed at when I realize there's no way I can finish my homework.

What else? I've been having some... odd dreams involving a select few (ie two) people as of late. It kind of lead me to start thinking about how reserved I must come across to people as... somehow. But I sort of realized the difference between thinking of things to say and just talking and that I use the former. The only problem is I'm not quite sure how to work on that... I'll be thinking of ways not to think of what to say for awhile, assuming that makes sense.

Please disregard the title, I was kinda bored... Just illustrating what watching those idiots on Dr. Phil does to me.

Nothing of great interest happened today... I woke up a little late after having a... well, happy dream (no, no, you sick-minded freaks) involving Emerald and Lauren. (Well, I lied, maybe it was a little "happy".) But then I went to Phillips and got a map assignment... I won't be too thrilled if I end up staying up into the early morning to finish it the night before it's due - again.

Bio was sort of fun, though, as I got to do a reaction time lab. I got some pretty good times when I got my head tapped... But, as I said, nothing was too spectacular. My best average was .11 seconds (that's not a quick time)... and I don't know where I was going with that, so I'll just move on.

Track is going to suck for the rest of the year, as we can't use the track for a great deal of running anymore. Why did they have to interrupt our season to tear up the blacktop and end up taping off a quarter of the track?... I want to go back to normal PE now more than ever... I could be doing rock climbing, I wouldn't have shin splints, my knees wouldn't be killing me, and I'd be having infinitely more fun with people I knew well...
