time for an update, i suppose. Wednesday July 26, 2006 8:33pm My summer's been... absolutely boring. I guess I should enjoy it before it's over. There's only a little over a month left of summer. I guess I should get started on my summer assignments next year for AP English. should being the operative word. -- Read Catcher in the Rye and Ordinary People -- Complete reading log with 5 half page reflections on each novel -- Compare/Contrast essay between the two books (3-5 pages) -- Select novel or play of your choice. (I'm thinking The Hairy Ape by Eugene O'Neill) -- Create a visual metaphor of the text Well, I have quite the schedule come August. __________ I have my sports physical this Friday. I'm still thinking about NOT doing volleyball this year, but I can't decide. And I don't know when volleyball practice starts. We don't have a COACH or a GYM. The school's redoing the gym floor and bleachers, and they start sometime in August and they'll finish at the start of October. I take my senior pictures on August 10th. I don't know if I was supposed to confirm it, they just sent me something in the mail with the appointment date. oh well. School starts on September 5th, 2006 and ends on June 20th, 2007. I already know it, memorized it, and posted it. GRADUATION DAY I can't wait to get out of Madison. Well, that's my update for now. Check again in about a month, I would say. toodles. Comment! (1) | Recommend! my summer so far.. Friday June 30, 2006 4;59pm Well, my summer has been......... rather boring. I haven't done anything really. I had a good time yesterday. I went to a Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert. I like the Goo Goo Dolls, but I didn't know ONE song from Counting Crows.. is that bad? Am i deprived? It's almost July... tomorrow, actually. And I promised myself that I would exercise so I would be in shape for volleyball. I doubt that'll happen.. but at least I put it out there. =) So that's my update for now.
