Was really tired at work todae, didnt slp properly yesterday nite. The buses and cars were too noisy. Anyway, as most if not all will already noe that there was an earthquake in Indonesia. The first tremor was abt 11 50am, when i was sitted at my desk near the window. I tok i was going to faint, as i swayed abit. But then, i realised by looking at the windows and building, that THE BUILDING WAS SHAKING. I was still in shock when the people there were like exclaiming, "we better get out now, let;s go for lunch". The tremor lasted for abt 10 secs. It was my 1st time man, seated on the 14th floor, if the building were to collaspe i dun tink i would be able to make it down to the ground floor unless i fly out lah. Life is really precious. I couldnt take a chance, following my colleague, i went down wif her using the lift. Haha, dun follow hor, must take stairs.

While eating, everybodies conversation was like involving the buildings shaking....... After abt an hour, the mgt sae no evacuation, so we went up again. Not long later, abt 1/2 hour, the building shook for the 2nd time. However, as i was walking, i couldnt feel it. Again, we self-evacuated ourselves. I noticed that the other towers at Suntec were packed wif ppl waiting on the ground level. And strangely, they were all looking up to the buildings. Haha...

If there was going to be a third time, tink we can self -declare half day le. Its quite scary, must be prepared for anything.

While going bk to home, the sky was really dark and suddenly it rained heavily. I wonder whether it has something connected with the earthquake. The heavy rain seems to paint a very sad picture of Indonesia, lives are lost, buildings collapsed, everything needs to be rebuilt (including the lives of the ppl). Although i studied Geography in Sec sch, i cant remember every details of e.g. how rain is formed or watever. I Just hope that help is sufficient for the Indonesians and that there are lesser people killed. God bless them.

Since for the next few daes i will be bz, i shall update now. Just found out that my graduation ceremony date is 21 April. Woohoo!! Luckily its on a sat (wkend), then i wont have to take leave during work. Cant wait for that dae, as i have been waiting for so long. Although i missed the Dec ceremony in Adl, i really wish i could attend one proper grad ceremony. Hope D.D. will be free on that day, i should prob treat my family for lunch.

Anyway, 2dae at work, my boss complimented me. I was abit tongue-tied, as i dun like to brag about myself, so i just smiled. Alright, i noe i am really organised, files in order, even my food in the drawer also very neat. hahaha... I am abit relieved now that i am being appreciated. Hopefully, he will be in a good mood everyday. (I have alot of hopes) My senior treated me to lunch at Chinatown, Da Dong, a cantonese restaurant, while we went there to collect some stuff. She is really a kind and friendly colleague. She tells me alot of the work stories, past experiences, good and bad bosses. Really learnt alot from her. Actually, i am really lucky to have appreciative bosses and colleagues. really thankful.

The next 2 daes will be damn BZ, arranging folders for 300 people, planning seats for them, ushering, arggg!! Pls dun give me harsh attendees. Cannot scold them or pull black face, can only smile fakely at them sia.

K, gtg, must spend my time wisely now.Nite nite!

I totally enjoyed myself 2dae at the KTV. The 5 of us, me and Shawn, Qiu mei, B and Steve. So funny, at least we have 5 ppl to sing songs, to play ard. After that went to meet up wif Mr J, at far east.

I am so happy 2dae, bought a pair of nice open toe wedges. Got discount somemore, hopefully very few ppl will be wearing that.


Me and D.D. both bought shoes, hehe couple sia. Nice, we just walked ard looking at Tag heuer watches. Poor me, i will have to start saving to buy one for D.D. We had a bet that if he got 100 points for the basketball game in the arcade, i would have to buy one for him. Anyway, i am most willing and happy to buy one , but i need time to save right. I cant possibly not eat for the entire month just to buy it. I also want my Frank Muller leh. In return, D.D. say he will pay half for my Coach bag. Its close to $1000, but i cant bear to buy leh, and use. How?? Hiaz...

Still have time to consider. Cant wait for the nxt wkend. Must slp soon, working 2moro. Such a blue Monday.

Caught the sneak preview for Music & Lyrics. Its a nice show, didnt noe Hugh Grant could sing and play the piano, his voice is not bad for an actor. The songs in the movie for really nice, will buy the soundtrack.

Just becoz i am new, doesnt mean i do everything "under the sun". This unhappy incident occurred after i felt happy from lunch, as i found a nice bag and wallet. As there would be another event (which is really big), me and another person is supposed to do the registering of ppl only for our dept, but i tut i have to do the whole thing. I was not told of anything, even my name and no. is on the invitation. U sae how leh?

Then, nvm calls started streaming in, asking me to register their clients. This particular guy called and i gave him his template to ask him to fill in loh. He happily forward it with the notion that everybody can fill in and send bk to me in different files. Shit!!

Then i told my colleague, she was so protective that she pushed it bk to that person. As the event is really big, we cant handle the different countries, so i will only handle a particular one. If she didnt helped me, i would have died, especially next wk when anonymous ppl will start registering.

I felt so cheated and stressed. I also felt guilty as i nearly landed myself and my colleague into big trouble when ppl start to point. Felt so stressed as ppl start to call me, i had a big headache, dun noe whether is fever or wat. So tired that i took a panadol. Y do this to me? Hiaz, my name is not for everybody to simply call, to put into emails, invitations.

Btw, the event is for 200-300 ppl. That's how deep the trouble is.

I have doubts on my career path and life now. I feel so old now that there is no vibrant life ahead of me.

Hiaz, so tired these few daes. Had 2 events this wk already, one was a dinner event, where i only reached home at 11.30pm and nearly had an accident. The other was a lunch presentation at Ritz, the food there is really classy and delicious. Next wed, a dinner event at Shangri-la. Dun noe wat time will reach home. Todae is considered quite F n E (free and easy), i did data-entry most of the time b4 being interrupted by boss and collegue. Hopefully, 2moro can meet up wif Qiu mei for lunch and go home early.

Anyway, since i started working, have been thinking abt alot of stuff. My frenz in adelaide have already started school. There are alot of changes in Raffles house, all of which i cant experience it now. So sad. I wonder how my galfrens are doing over there. Miss them alot alot. Will tok after dinner in the kitchen or debby's room. Sob Sob... I hope the ppl in Raffles hse miss me and my sandwiches.
