Disney's New Storybook Movie!
Saturday, December 2, 2006

Disney is in the process of making a new storybook movie, Rapunzel!

"At the time of its release, this will be the first animated Disney feature based on a traditional fairy tale in eighteen years, the previous one being 1991's Beauty and the Beast, and the first one done in CGI." The Wikipedia

It's about time they made a storybook movie again. I really miss Disney's influence in fairytales. My friend told me about this and I'm sooo excited about it! It'll be in CGI, but they've kept the classic Disney style. The mix looks amazing! It's due for release in 2009. I can wait 2 1/2 to 2 years! =D

Here's the Wikipedia's article about it.

My Favorite Singer
Friday, December 1, 2006
I don't have anything to say, so here's a couple videos of my favorite singer, Charlotte Church. Most are from her younger days and the last is from the present. She started singing lessons when she was eight and got her big break when she was eleven. Now, she's twenty. I don't want to post the actual videos becuase it'll slow the page down (and multiple videos look tacky to me.). The links open in a new video.

This is a promo video for her debut albulm. It just tells about her and how she got started and stuff. She was twelve when her cd debuted.

This is from the MTV music awards several years ago. She was 13 or 14.

This is a Ford global anthem she did for the new millenium. It was a long, awesome commercial! XD The footage was from all over the world, but Charlotte was in Cornwall, England. Again, she was 13 or 14.

This is from a tsunami relief aid concert. Since this was a year ago, she had to be nineteen. It's a cover of Fields of Gold by Sting. She sings pop now.

Ok! I told you had nothing to say! XD I thought I'd share that with you. Ok off to bed with me now!

Mood: Tired and happy
Listening to: I'll Be There soundtrack by Charlotte Church

I made this for my friend. He wanted it to look evil and dark. XD I'm glad he liked it because I had a hard time looking for the right picture. I spent two days looking.

This Sunday is the Ladys' Christmas Tea at my old church. It's a Christmas get-together for the women at church. They have tea and delicate sweets like cookies and other light snacks and music. My mom goes there now (or I should say again) and she bought a ticket for me, without asking if I had plans. I didn't at the time she told me, but still it's polite to ask. You don't just assume. >> Anyway, I don't want to go, but I am anyway because I don't want her to waste money and there's people that I haven't seen in ages. I also want to see the new additions to the church. They have a gym and a couple other things.

Like they'll even care to see me again. Oh well. The usual people will probably sing and I'll feel like crap because I can never grasp an opportunity to sing anywhere. Stupid life. It would be a lot better if those people let me do things at the church when I was a member. They always had some kind of stupid excuse just so I couldn't do anything. For example, I wanted to be on the praise team thingy, just once a week, like Wednesdays. I forget the excuse, but it was rediculous and they wouldn't let me. They knew I could sing because they heard me before. When they heard me, it was at a talent show and I sang a Christmas song (it was late November). Everyone told me how much they loved it, that I was so good, I should go on American Idol, ect. I didn't even win and they came to me instead! XD They were even curious, like how long I've been singing, how old I was, ect. So why not let me on the praise team? They even had spots open.

It's strange that I ranted about that because it hasn't bothered me for a very long time. I let it go like two years ago. So, I don't know. I won't care once I'm there. It just hit me, I guess.

I've got nothing else. Here's a bit of Russian for you.

Schastlivyye Prazdniki!
Monday, November 27, 2006
Mood: Happy
Listening to: My Radio Blog

Let's see if I can remember.

On Thursday, I had Thanksgiving at home, then I went to my aunt's house. I was too stuffed; I barely ate anything.

On Friday, we went to our friends' house and played games. My favorite was Apples To Apples. I'll explain this fun and random game! XD There's two kinds of cards: green and red. You deal out seven red cards and the green card has a subject, like "rolemodel" for example. Out of your red cards, you pick out the word that best relates to the subject (the red cards have one word on them). The judge picks their favorite red card. Whoever had that red card gets the green card. You try to collect green cards to win (It's supposed to be 6, but you can go for whatever you want. We went for ten on the last round). I really love that game! It can be really funny. It was when we played it! We were cracking up laughing!
They gave me a cd that they didn't want anymore and it's the one I've been wanting for ages!!!! It's Charlotte Church's I'll Be There cd, from the movie of the same title.

On Saturday...... what did I do? Did I stay home? I think I did.

Yesterday, I went to my brother's house for my nephew's birthday party. he turns one today! ^.^ He is soooo cute! I have to post pictures when I get the chance. He loves everybody and goes to everyone to hug them. It's sooo cute!!!!

I was looking up Russian on Wikipedia (reminiscing on my Russian lessons days) and I looked up Merry Christmas on Dictionary.com. It's Vyesyeloye Pozhdyetvo. Happy Holidays is Schastlivyye Prazdniki. lol I love that language. I need to brush up on it. I need to brush up on my Hebrew, too.
