Vanilla scented sky

It's easier to count the days than hours We learned that the hard way
I just woke up from a 3 hour nap, I think it was the food that sent me to sleep, or the weather, or the fact that I wake up 4 times a night, or other things that come along with the territory of being a female. Anywho, I am highly dissapointed that the sky is so gosh darn cloudy cuz we can't see the meteor shower tonight! *tear* I realized how much I really do treasure meteor showers, even more than sunsets and fireworks and we all know how much I like those.
Today we got to do some Serbian folk dancing!! I thought it was tons of fun and since it was all fast paced I was in my zonnnnne. The four guys in the class kept up pretty well too. That reminds me of yest's ab class cuz some chick brought her bf to the class and he couldn't even do half the exercises. Whose macho now huh?!
Which is worse... The waiting, or knowing that you won't want to come back?

By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth
day of working overtime.
An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so
much time on this one?"
And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on
her? She has to be completely washable, but not
plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable
and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap
that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss
that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken
heart-and she will do everything with only two hands."
The angel was astounded at the requirements. "Only two
hands!? No way! And that's just on the standard model?
That's too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow
to finish." "But I won't" the Lord protested. "I am so
close to finishing this creation that is so close to
my own heart. She already heals herself when she is
sick AND can work 18 hour days."
The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But you
have made her so soft, Lord." "She is soft," He
agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no
idea what she can endure or accomplish."
"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel. The
Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she
will be able to reason and negotiate."
The angel then noticed something, and reaching out,
touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like you
have a leak in this model. I told you that you were
trying to put too much into this one." "That's not a
leak," the Lord corrected, "that's a tear!" "What's
the tear for?" the angel asked. The Lord said, "The
tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her
pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness,
her grief and her pride."
The angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You
thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing."
And she is! Women have strengths that amaze men. They
bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold
happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to
scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when
they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They
fight for what they believe in. They stand up to
injustice. They don't take "no" for an answer when
they believe there is a better solution. They go
without so their family can have. They go to the
doctor with a frightened friend. They love
unconditionally. They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards. They are
happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding. Their
hearts break when a friend dies. They grieve at the
loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left. They know that hug
and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They'll
drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much
they care about you. The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and
love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral
support to their family and friends. Women have vital
things to say and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT
THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

I need a sign in my dorm room that says, "this is a no whining zone". geeez. I have to sell ELEVEN pies over thanksgiving for lacrosse. This week is starting to go by faster now that it is Thursday. I just put in my Revis cd that I have not listened to in over a year. Good stuff... I heard one of their songs at the ARC the other day and didn't realize ppl had actually heard them besides Ash and me.
The week ahead...
Tonight- ab class, dinner, the play
Tomorrow- dance class in field house, watch meteor shower at 10pm
Sat- rock climbing clinic 10am-12pm, work on E-portfolio, Rocky's 7pm
Sunday- finish E-portfolio hopefully
Monday- Light up Night 7pm, audition 8pm
Tues- Turkey Trot?, pack up to go home
Wed- 7:15am fitness class, 2 classes then HOME! ortho appt, visit Cocoa Court, shopping with court, haircut, get ring cleaned. Coffee.
Thursday- long walk, thanksgiving dinner with family, pack for MD... n the rest is to be written!

This whole week the sky has been grey, I hope it clears up tomorrow I have me some flying stars to watch! That's all for now.

Wouldn't life be perfect if sweatpants were sexy, monday mornings were fun, junk food didn't make you fat, girls didnt cause drama, boys weren't confusing, nothing was regrettable and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow ... --- from Courtney
I thought about her quote... dang, if sweatpants were sexy that'd be the day, and fun monday mornings would be quite appreciated, non fatening junk food would rock for pms moments, and if ppl were more honest then there would be no drama or confusion.. as to goodbyes, tomorrow would be awesome, but sometimes it is the time in between that makes u appreciate and totally embrace the time u do have.
Hahaha we just went from talking about ppl asking us out these past few days, to a switching partners do se do, to another sex chat. good times. I need a haircut so bad (court and I will get it cut at the mall)... and it's interesting what college students will find to eat, like did u know that u can roll up the pre wrapped caramel that u make caramel apples with to eat it? If u try any other way tho it'll be so stuck in ur teeth, or brownie mix with some water offers a great non bake alternative to fix ur choc needs... and the list goes on. Ok, gotta get to work,... on what I don't know.
