almost lovers always do
Tuesday. 8.7.07
listening to: "Almost Lovers" - One Cell In The Sea by A Fine Frenzy

So today was pretty sweet. Got together with Cory, whom I haven't seen in a while. It was good seeing him again...
After work, he called me up after finally finding my number. His phone had been dropped in a lake, and thus so was my number. He had to ask friends to help him look for it online somehow. So, apparently, I'm hard to get a hold of. But anyways.

After hanging out at the mall with him for a while (which mostly consisted of just walking around and talking; or sitting and talking), I went out with a few girl friends to see a preview for the movie Becoming Jane. On the passes we had, it said "Arrive early! We overbook! blahblahblah!", so we got there about thirty minutes early or so, and apparently it was all full. So they had us put our names and mailing addresses on the passes, and they'd send us passes for a future screening. So much for a preview...
So we watched Harry Potter instead. A bunch of stuff I forgot about the book came to me when things happened (or didn't happen, for that matter) in the movie. The only thing I could really remember about when they go to the Department of Mysteries was the room full of brains, but they didn't put that in the movie. Oh well, you can't have everything.

And so tomorrow I work again. Then lunch with Cory, and VBS that evening. Then - oh yeah! I forgot to tell you something:
I, as of Sunday afternoon, am a new employee at Aéropostale!

So I'm pretty psyched about it. I think it'll be fun. At least it's something different from shelving books (which I still do every weekday morning). I think I'm going to enjoy it. Well, as much as you can for working in retail - at the mall, of all places. But anyways.
I start my new job Thursday evening, after I've finished my six-hour shift at the library. woo!... At least I'm only at the mall for three hours Thursday. But then I have to come back Friday for six hours after six hours at the library. I just hope I go to bed before 11pm Thursday—ANYWAYS...

I'm tired, it's nearly midnight, and I have a lot ahead of me tomorrow. Goodnight! =)

when you're HOT HOT on my trail
Wednesday. 08.01.07
listening to: "Cuckoo" // Neon Horse

I uploaded a bunch (20) of random pictures 'cause I was bored. If you want to look at 'em, you can find 'em in my album "randomocity". I even wrote descriptions on 'em, so it's more entertaining to view pictures of people you've never seen before. =)

This song sounds weirdish in a creepy kinda way. So does the video, for that matter (in video well as audio). But I still like it, mostly for its weirdness.

{video}

  It's so weird, it's cool!/fun!/exciting!

{lyrics}
Cuckoo!

Your Pride and Joy is a Pretty Beast
The baddest apples fall from rotten trees
The little monster is a walking disease
You got only yourself to blame –
‘Cause all else failed!

And you’re
HOT HOT
On my trail and you know that it’s
NOT NOT
Not my fault but you know that you
GOTTA GOTTA
Pin the Tail… when all else fails
Cuckoo, cuckoo!

Biting the hand that over-feeds
Lord of the Flies ain’t no mystery
Mean as Murder or Precious and Sweet?
You got only yourself to blame –
‘Cause all else failed!

Momma hide the children
Someone get the baby!
Momma turn all the lights on
Somebody pull the shades!

They're called Neon Horse - now go check 'em out. The only site they have is their myspace, so I give you this link only because it's the only one they have.

Neon Horse

  Have fun!

Why do you want a sign?
Saturday. Kinda. (1am)
listening to: Business Up Front/Party In The Back (Diamond Edition) - Family Force 5

Today (Saturday) was my lil bro's birthday party. His birthday was actually Wednesday, but that's beside the point.

We had the party at my brother Isaac's house. Because we were late getting there ('cause Dad decided 'til rather late to take a shower and get ready, we were late getting out the door. We didn't leave 'til it was the time we actually wanted to be there. So Donald was late to his own party. It was insane... >_<), most everyone had arrived by the time we showed up.
Anyways, so we all took turns playing eachother on Guitar Hero II, and played some Wii Sports. Then Donald opened presents, and got some cool stuff. My favorite card was the one I gave him (Well, besides the Star Wars one that played the opening theme. But that's a given). On the front, it had a wooded scene, with a big pear sitting on top of a fallen tree, with the words "Do I wish you a happy birthday?" On the inside it said "Does a PEAR sit in the WOODS?" I loved it! And on the back it is had the pear with a bite taken out of it, with is saying "I cannot pear this!", alongside where I wrote some other pearish things. I had fun with that card. ^_^

After presents, and making sure everyone had eaten (so we could put away the food), we played more Wii Sports. That was fun. Then Guitar Hero came out again. I had fun playing with everyone, and watching people take turns bowling.
And that was the end, pretty much.

Next week (Sunday, actually) I'm going off to church camp until Friday evening. So I won't be on here much (not that I've been on here much this week to begin with...). I'll be off in rainy Ohio. (Well, it rains more regularly than it does around here. There's only about one maybe two really hot days while we're there. And that's usually our last day.) I'll be taking pictures, so you'll have lots to see when I get back.

And now for my favorite Potter Puppet Pals film/video/thing.
(I showed this to everyone at Donald's party. It was a blast with some of us. And just silly to many others. :D)

  Enjoy! =D

New layout!
Saturday. 7.14.07
listening to: The Fratellis - Costello Music

New layout! Er... just new colors. And a background. But whatever.

  This week I...
    saw Transformers
    ...twice
    went to a wedding
watched the whole season(?) of D.N. Angel
    went on a lets-download-everything-Bleach! splurge...
had Coldstone for the first time
    um... went to work...
and that's all I can think of for now.
OH! And I played Guitar Hero II. For the third time.

This week has been kinda blah. But that's okay. More rest for me! Not really. Mostly I was working, and stuff. But whatever.

Tomorrow we're celebrating my brother Isaac's birthday. It was Wednesday, but since it's hard to get everyone together in the middle of the week, we're havin' it here at the house. Mom's making a cake, and everything.
Then Friday we're celebrating Donald's birthday. His birthday is actually this Wednesday, but he wanted a party, so we're doing it the Friday after. It's gonna be at Isaac's house. A bunch of people are coming, and we're gonna cook out, play Guitar Hero, and stuff. Should be fun.

I'm tired, so I'm going to bed now.
  Bonne soir!
