Weekend double shifts are killing me
Friday. 09.21.07
Being the internet video people that you are, many of you may have already seen this video of a kid singing a song called "Chocolate Rain". (If not, that's why I put in the link, so now you can go watch it and know what I'm talking about.)

Now it has reincarnated itself into many remix and parody videos, but my absolute favorites are the Chad Vader and John Mayer versions.

CHAD VADER

JOHN MAYER

The funniest thing I have ever heard [in a video, on the internet]. EVER!!!

And now I have John Mayer's version stuck in my head. Doesn't help Cory was constantly singing it after he showed it to me.

  ...So weird/funny/ha!

  P.S.
I've updated my music player. Say It Ain't So (by Weezer) won't work right for some reason, so just imagine the song is there.
Also, I've just started on the idea of a new layout. You may see the fruits of my labor sometime before the month is through (maybe).

Behold, the Update
Saturday. 9.15.07
listening to: Dazed and Confused - "The Best Of Led Zeppelin, Vol. 1" by Led Zeppelin

I put in my two weeks at Aéropostale last week. Next weekend will be my last as an Aéropostale sales associate. Yes!
I have also added hours to my library job. Now, alongside every weekday morning, I work Tuesday and Thursday evenings and every fourth weekend (Saturday/Sunday - open to close).

The only thing I will miss about Aéropostale will be getting paid every two weeks (instead of once a month, like at the library).
  â€¦Oh well!

Now that I work two extra nights a week, It's harder for Cory and I to see eachother as much as we'd like. Before, our free nights were Tuesday, Thursday and usually Friday. Now it's just Friday and three-out-of-four Saturdays.
Nevertheless, love shall prevail over all!

I'm really looking forward to next weekend. One (1), I may be going to Springfield to visit some friends at school there. I have to talk to the folks at Aéropostale about it, because that Saturday is my last day, so I'm gonna see if they'll let me work some time earlier that week instead. We'll see when I talk to 'em tonight. Two (2), Resident Evil: Extinction comes out!
I first saw a trailer for it when I saw The Invasion, which is pretty much just an updated version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". It was fun. But anyways.

  So exciting!!

We'll make it, I swear
Tuesday. 9.4.07
listening to: Living On A Prayer - "Slippery When Wet" by Bon Jovi

  My Labor Day Weekend:
    Okay.

Saturday I worked at Aéropostale all afternoon.
Sunday I went out with my best friend Angie who was home for the weekend. We mostly just went to the mall to find some stuff she needed for school, which came to no avail. Then I met up with Cory and we hung out at Target and stuff 'til church. Then afterwards we went to Dairy Queen with some of the other kids who had filled up a couple tables by the time we got there, so we sat at another table thinking a couple people who were after us would come sit with us. They didn't, they just crammed themselves in the already packed tables. But anyways.

Monday I had to work @ Aero again (being a temp means I work weekends and holidays - woohoo), and afterwards Cory came over and we had burgers that Dad grilled out in the backyard. That was nice. =)
After cleaning up after dinner, and standing around talking for a while, we (er, I, technically...) decided to go rent a movie. We got The Island and Disturbia. We watched the latter. It was really good. I liked it a lot. It was like a modernized Rear Window. Fun! Exciting! Thrilling! An experience to be had by all!.... who like that sort of thing. But anyways.

Today could have been better. After getting off work (at the library), I headed home 'cause Mom wanted me to do somethin' at the house before I left to go over to Cory's. When I got there I found out, to my surprise, that Mom had left for an orthodontist appointment, and Dad was leaving for an interview, so I had to wait until Mom got back to actually leave. So I had to sit at home for an extra thirty minutes or so, thus shortening my precious time with Cory. (My parents wanted me home "at a reasonable hour that isn't night. Say around 7..." wth?!) Well, by the time Mom finally came home, I left as soon as I could. And she said I had to be home by 8. (what happened to 7? idk, but I didn't risk saying anything)

  Blah blah blah; but anyways.
When I was at Cory's earlier, we watched Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. So far, every time I've been over at his house, we've watched a movie that is essential for everyone to watch that I haven't seen. The previous movies we watched are:

â€¢ Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
    â€¢ Dodgeball

And... that's all I can remember right now. I know there's at least ONE more, I just can't recall it. hmph...

  So, yes!
Right now, I'm kind of re-arranging my links bar on my browser to sites I actually go to, or would like to regularly go to. And integrating more of my general browsing with my "iGoogle" (home?)page. And stuff.
Now I'm going to go mess around with AllRespect. Mostly 'cause I haven't been on it for a while, and I feel I should be more active on it.

You would take
Saturday. 08.25.07 10:45pm
listening to: Combinations by Eisley

I feel like I haven't updated in FOREVER. I'm always doing something, either at work or... sleeping, so it seems like it's been weeks since I was last on here.
  So anyhow.

I didn't work as much this week as I did the last. That was nice.

I also got to see my man Cory quite a bit. That's been really nice. ^_^ I'm gonna get to see him a LOT this week 'cause I don't work @ Aero 'til Friday. I'm excited.

I would have updated before I left for work, but I ended up working on an image for a layout I had an idea for. The graphic part of which is finished, now I just have to put the html/css stuff together with it. I'm gonna put it up when I'm done so you may all see it! And stuff! But anyways.

Tomorrow Cory's coming over for lunch. I'm really excited, 'cause he gets to meet my two older brothers, 'cause they usually come over for Sunday dinner. And I'm excited for Monday and Thursday 'cause I get to meet some of his friends on one/both of those days. (He lives in Raymore, MO which is about 22 miles from where I live, so seeing eachother can get difficult sometimes especially when we work a lot. Which I don't think will be much of a problem for now 'cause both of hours have gone way down now that school's started.) I haven't met any of his friends yet. I'm really looking forward to it. =)

"And how!" (click for reference) (FIXED)
