The dragging of slippers echo down the deserted walkway.
Melancholy steps, only reflect the pain throughout the years.
Her journey's almost over, but not quite soon enough.
She, a life veteran, has one more battle to fight.
Her left hand grasps, a plastic bag, a dinner fit for two.
The bread was bought just down the road, with what she could afford.
Most importantly her right hand holds, the reason for her existence.
A tiny hand, so soft and youthful....

She hobbles along the same way, oblivious to her surroundings.
Having just learnt to walk, the world is such a wonder.
Her joyous personality is only overshadowed by her infectious smile.
Hand in hand they walk, their love for each other is evident to see.
Love that transends time, generations upon generations.
The night although cold, the warm hand comforts.
But that's enough for both.

Its so funny to hear from people almost twice your age about sex and females. Even though fundamentally its about the same, their views are definately more liberating and interesting i would say.... of course i wouldn't want to share them here in fear of turning my blog into some kind of sex blog (though it may have a positive impact on my ratings). Was quite funny also the way they put it, makes me really wonder whether we'd all become like that in the future lol

I actually saw this off gotmilk's blog... felt so inspired... i probably have been watching this for 5 days straight now...twice a day... lol

There are times when i wished i had long hair.... this would probably be one of it.

Wow, went to support Jen's dance ensemble yesterday with a few others. Was looking forward to it because firstly, i haven't seen my friends in quite some time and secondly, it was a nice excuse to dress up lol. We even got front row seats!

The dance thing was pretty cool, cept being a non arty person, found it a little difficult to interpret what was going on. I think my favourite piece was the oriental one with lots of visuals and movement, second would be the last piece because i liked the soundtrack from les choristes lol! I quite liked jen's first piece which they were all wearing the purple dresses, which i thought was absolutely adorable lol.

We met her parents and her cute sisters at the show as well, cept they were sitting apart and the girls were having difficulties telling them apart (doh!). There was a brief moment in the interlude where i got to speak to her mum, she said "so free ah today."... hmmm...wasn't sure if she harbour any ill feelings towards me...

Anyway, it was jen's night and im glad of course to be there with the rest to show our support. Just recently I had my commissioning parade so i know it means a lot to have friends and family over. Quite proud of our friend also because she fought for what she wanted and is living her dream (how many of us can do that?), congrats jen!

Of course, as we always say... The night is still young ah! Headed over to HollandV to chill and grab some munchies and took some photos. Was a fun night, haven't enjoyed myself like that in a while.
