today my dad taught me to parallel park. today was also the first time he didn't sit next to me in the car while teaching me to drive. he stood on the sidewalk, so he could see better when i'm about to hit the trashcans. (trashcans represent cars that i'm parking in between).

today was also the best driving experience i've ever done. i was almost flawless. i can honestly say that the only reason for this was because he wasn't near enough to me to constantly yell and criticize as he always does.

afterwards-
dad: why don't you use your own car for the driving test? it's smaller.
me: it won't be insured by then. besides, i've learned and practiced everything on your car.
dad: well, i guess it doesn't matter. i'm pretty sure you're going to fail anyway.

thank you, daddy dearest.
everyone has so much faith in me!

i'm not going on the college trip anymore, which gievs me an extra week to practice driving for my test on aug 26. errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. i'm not a very good driver. so uh... errrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

freaking kurtis doesn't freaking smell like freaking kurtis anymore. wtf.

my mom bought me a car. but she hasn't picked it up yet because the person who owns it needs to get the title from some place. actually. it's no car. it's an SUV. with 25 mpg. yesssss. that's good for an SUV. but kind of crappy for a car in general. if i had gotten an echo.. i'd get like 35 mpg. oh well. at least my SUV is safer.

i sewed Rachel con Queso onto a purse. it's a guy and he's cute and purple.

i got the life of pi and wizard's first rule from the library. i hope they are good. i hoep i finish before school starts (i think so. if i finished harry potter 6 the day it came out). oh i got a walmart backpack and it's kind of ugly. it reminds me of snowboarding. but i like the colors. but not the style. oh well.

i adore charlie and the chocolate factory.

i'm going to new jersey tomorrow at 6 am. gotta wake up at 4 am. it's 10:17 pm now, i'll be really tired. i'm coming back on aug 3. then sometime between aug 3-9 i'm hanging out with KURTIS! and then from aug 10-17, i'm going on a college trip with ben to washington, oregon, california, and northern nevada. and then either from aug 3-9 and aug 18-28...i'm going to try and get my license and car. i've never even attempted to parallel park before. ugh i'm gonna fail because i never practice. this sucks. and then school starts on aug 29. yay. SHOOT! and i have to take the clep for eng 101 sometime before school starts. ugh i need more tiiiiiiime.

today me and rachel and grace chillaxed for a tiny bit then grace left. then me and rachel did random things like.. buying birch beer and virgin coke. and argyle shoes.

hmmmmmmmmmm....... yes.

i'm drinking a chai latte but it has frostbite because i put it in the freezer.

i can tell right now that summer is going to suck a lot unless i make friends or something.

i must remind myself to take the CLEP test for eng 101.

in theory, i made my perfect subway sandwich- but i have yet to try it.

i wish we had an ikea in las vegas. i'd really like to go there.

my stupid brother that i dislike a lot took age of mythology AND age of mythology: titans WITHOUT asking me. asswipe. i really wanted to play it too. but i can't. because i don't have it. because he does.
buuuut i stole his power rangers shirt. so it's okay.

i almost can't remember what kurtis smells like. ugh.
