Last night I was watching the last series to the John Safran documentary about searching for atheism "John Safran vs. God". I thought it is quite funny! It is on SBS, Monday nights, 8.30-9pm. It is this Aussie guy travelling round the world studying different religions and participating in them. And it is till this episode that he takes a trip to Minnesota and visits some Christian exorcist, that he is told he is a "breeding ground for demons/satan". OMG! It was absolutely freaky to see John being bible bashed (and I mean literally) and I he was being held down by all these freaky worshippers. He was yelling and screaming and under a trance...damn freaky. I think watching this even scared my dad! But I was laughing...dunno why...maybe cuz the priest was so ridiculous and he seemed to be demon-possessed!

This is a funny site to visit - SBS John Safran Page. He is such an artist and talented film maker. Even those who believe in God should take a look at his doc. Cuz you will just get a laugh...or maybe not...hmmm...



As I have told you the 'do' has gone purple. :p I took this pic last night...and even though u can't see my whole head u can see the purplish streaks in there :) What made me want to do that to my hair? Welll...I have been thinking about this for a while. I wondered...what colour goes with black? I came up with a list: blue, red, white and purple!! Of course purple...why is it not a surprise to you guys? But I am quite bored with being just 'black', it was good for a while until I realised I'M 20 yrs old! I should be experimental with my style now...before I start being an "AUNTIE" and then going purple!!! My next door neighbour is an auntie with purple hair, chinese lady! NO WAYYY that'll be me...hahaha or u will never know. I could be a cool granny :P

Going to Gelares with Jason and Mel tonight...usual meeting spot just to catch up and plan the weekend. The pride parade will be on...and that should be interesting :) Gail will also be back for a short while, in for her mum and sis bday. Oh yeh...how was everyone's weekend? I went to Karaoke!!! But I did not sing...cuz I'm mic shy, I think I would get up there if I was with my friends. Instead on sat night it was Evelyne's (Tiff's big sis) bday. It was when we went to metros that everything went off! I have missed the superclub nights!! I can't believe how good it was. Maybe cuz it is "my comfort club", the music was good, dancing good, atmosphere good. Met a few of koh's friends..becuz one of them was Evelyne's friend! PERTH is such a small world! Then a couple of koh's friends approach on the floor hahaha...possibly on the prowl. I recognised them straight away but they never knew J.L has a sis. It was funny! My dear overprotective brother :) How all these ppl are connected to me through my bro...who is one of the most "popular" guys in Perth I guess...his networking skills got him that title. And now I'm only known as Jason Lee's sister...how sad.. :(

Haven't seen Fernando in nearly 2 weeks now...man that is bordering scary. But somehow I'm not missing him as much..so bad huh? Nah I guess life is keeping me bz and that is good in a way, makes me stronger in my emotions. ^_^ It's a lovely week...sweet sunshine on my days and hope on your days too! SMile as the world will smile with u!!! :-)

P.S/ murasaki*dream is going to be closed down soon...it's been a great yr here! Luv the community but the blog is getting too big! If I choose to continue blogging I shall post up the address for the new place.

I am currently slurping this delicious bowl of asam laksa that my dad has prepared. I have to get ready for work in 30 mins. Tonight it maybe karaoke with the girls...still not sure...

The purple has made a statement esp. at work yesterday. It was funny! All my colleagues were looking at me like "wha??"...They have never seen this side of me...the experimental side. Some dared to comment, some dared to stare...supervisors couldn't say anything cuz I'm such a nice worker. :p

Many customers asked for my advice...and I thought it was great. :) Others just didn't wanna come to my checkout cuz they thought I was some kinda tart. DUH! How rude...but had fun talking to those who were like 'cool hair' hahaha. Going to work now...wonder if there will be anymore comments...

p.s/ I love this Maroon 5 song!!! I think kelly preston is the lady in the clip...she's a yummy mummy. :)

Everyone who thinks I am a bitch...say AYE! I have a feeling there is gonna be a lot of response and a lot of hands in the air. Hmmm...a strange way to start off the entry but there is a reason for me to be a "bitch" to protect myself from hurt. Isn't that natural for everyone? Sometimes the biggest bitch can be the nicest girl... only when u get on her good side. hahaha...I dunno just feeling crap... I feel I can't hold onto new friends easily...unless they are just as open as me and try to understand everything. Cuz I just don't have the effort to be nice anymore...it's hard wen u do something nice for ppl and they don't appreciate it or remember it. Old friends accept me for being who I am...and I say Thank you to them ^_^ for always being there for me...thick and thin...I only need a handful of friends I realised.

My backs aches...I was working at the election poll in Hasluck just yesterday and so glad that the LIBERAL party won! I wouldn't be happy if they didn't win, cuz this is my first election and I would like the one I voted to win...hahaha. Why do I even care? I guess I am beginning to feel what it is like to be a citizen now :D It's been nearly 2 yrs...and not bad :) I had a 13 hour shift at YALE primary, sitting down and marking ppl off. I saw soooo many familiar faces from my past cuz it was in THORNLIE (My childhood suburb). My yr.2 teacher, Jess Thrumble, Kelli Trinidad, Jess Currell, James Terlick (n his mum!)...it was nice... it was like "HEY I KNOW U!!!" LOL! So it wasn't really boring. Counting was boring though. Funny to see the silly ppl trying to make it to the 6pm deadline and got locked out! HAHAHA $50 FOOL!

Man I'm such a bitch... :p The night before I went to the red sea with Tiff and Yo, came back round 1.30 and had to wake up 6.30 for the rolls!!! :/ I'm crazy I know...Without my powerade I would've been dead. YES GO POWERADE!! IT works!!! Had the sorest legs and back ever and had to work at woolies today. This is the definition of "tiredness". And fuck-a-duck I have to meet with group mates tomorrow to finalise presentation material.

Kelli Trinidad saw me on sat and hugged me! I was glad cuz we lost contact and all...and I never wanted to lose our friendship. She had heard through the grapevine...I'M A CLUBBER! Hahaha...so much truth in that... but then again I'm moving towards ex-clubber to LOUNGE LIZARD! :p Yea yea pretty much the same aren't they? hehehe...

Hmmm...wat else is new...ummm..oh yea on friday a guy came to my checkout and asked me out! I WAS SHOCKED! I was like ohhhhhhhhhhh shit! Cuz right I have served him before and never have I thought he would have these feeling for me. I was really flattered, cuz he bought a coke and asked for no bag (GOOd boy!) and asked me "errrrr....do you study at TAFE or uni?" I said "Uni" and he said "errrr...ummm...I dunno how to say this. But would you like to go out sometime?"...he was so shy and sweet and I was going kinda red (cuz all the customers waiting behind were looking at me)...hahaha but I said "sorry I have a boyfriend". He was like "ok. thanks again"...

What a weekend...phew! I just need to have some sleep, foot massage, back rub...cuz damn I feel like an old woman. I've had enough of this...wen will the holidays come?? :( Hope u all enjoy ur lovely week ahead! GAMBATE! Not too long to go till holidays k for most...and that time we will party and celebrate together! Till then TAKE CARE! Will keep u posted with developments in my life (there aren't many hehehe).

Hi everyone! It is Pasar Malam night at the John Curtin center at Curtin University. Must come down if u are here in Perth! It should be good, market stalls selling food, different products from overseas etc. Also they are gonna have a lion dance performance! It should be good :) Going with a couple of friends and meeting some uni friends there who will be working at the stalls.

Got work earlier today but it should be ok. The day is so nice and sunny! I hope to be outside soon. But found it so hard to wake up this morning cuz I went out last night late night shopping with my boo. Been tired lately and a bit stressed out with deadlines. I guess everyone is atm. :/ But yea...Boo and I were being so silly last night it was funny. Saw Heidi there with Kerwin and stop to say hello. :)

I'm thinking about going out tonite after the Pasar Malam, just to the red sea in subi because Tiff and Yo wants to check it out. It is so funny how I go everywhere twice becuz I go with 2 diff groups of friends. :) But the red sea is a good place to chill out with friends. I recommend it to other perth ppl out there! :)

But....I have a 7.30am-9pm shift tomorrow cuz I shall be working at the election in Yale Primary! Australia is voting...and I'm gonna be utterly dead and zombiefied after that day is through. My legs will be no more! But it's my first election! First time to vote and first time working with the rolls. I'm not really into politics but it should be interesting to see which party is winning on the day. GO LIBERALS!
