The tiger is our national animal. Our heritage. But today only less than 500 of them
remain in the wild. As Malaysians, we need to stand up and protect our heritage.

Friday. 7.2.10 4:31 am
Dear Diary,

On the June 23rd 2010, I finally stepped my foots at the land of China, it does meant something to me, since afterall I'm a Chinese ha..

It were indeed a fun 8 days trip.. so Ill just post photos around.

Good Morning Shanghai~ (Took Mas Airline Midnite flight - serving me heavy meal at 0330!)

Took MAGLEV from Pudong to Luoyang Station, too bad the speed dont hit up 400km/h+ I was Hoping and Wishing it will.

MAGLEV do Provide spaces for big luggages, so you don't really have to worry where to put your luggages.

Shanghai Pudong (especially) surrounded by highrise building. Aurora used to be Genaral Motor's building

Overlooking The BundϺ̲ a must go place due to the drama series

Everywhere is this icecream store

Feeling silly? there is costume booth to take pictures with a fee over looking The Bund Ϻ̲

Pedestrian Roundabout. Very interesting overlooking Oriental Pearl Tower and connected to many famous places like "Super Brand Mall" and subway station.

Exploring Shanghai 2 (Nanjing West)
Tuesday. 7.27.10 10:15 pm
Dear Diary,

Took me awhile to remember my password to nutang @@'' (sign of old age!)
These were the 2nd day exploring Shanghai PuXi (West side of Shanghai)
Took the ferry (5min walks from home) to PuXi, exploring the famous "The Bund" "Shanghai Tan) Which the name itself was a TV series for the golden days.
Heavy Heavy Rain!

Walking up the Bund and hide under the beautiful shade because the rain was too heavy

Over Looking Pudong where I stayed~

Walking down the Road of Nanjing West(Nanjing Xi Lu)
It is relatively important to keep your eyes "OPEN" while travelling at Shanghai, because
1. You have to aware of thief
2. Aware of scammer (often happened to foreigners where a swamp of "ladies" will surround you and asked you to go with her for tea... if this happened, don't follow them, or you will expect an extremely high bills! with lousiest tea quality)
3. Keep left and right, front and back for cars, motorbike, bicycles... because they will come out from nowhere, In Nanjing West~ they have tour train... so please watched out for them, or they might bang on you. @@''
4. Of course enjoy the scenary, lots of shops along the way.

Because it is the World Expo Season, you can see a lot of expo merchandise, remember to buy from those "licensed" store for collection and "non-licensed" for souvenir (it is way cheaper, and remember to bargain with the non licensed seller)
Since is World Expo Season, this shop (licensed Expo Merchandise) Have the store build resembling the China Pavilion.

Thank god for my half plus six Japanese, I able to read some and understand some of the "Susume" places around Shanghai (we have this Japanese Magazine lying around the house and uncle wanted to throw it away!)
I discover this interesting Sculpture Garden that are yet to be famous in the Japanese Magazine, and we decided to have a trip there. Wow, Indeed it was a wonderful places. and less tourist, less pollution simply because it is still very new.
Inside the garden, consists of different sculpture by artists, and those interesting was the 3 apples and a crow (look like SnowWhite~)
The buffalos and the unidentify sculpture~
Inside the garden itself have a very big garden(yet to complete) with craft of the wall, and flowers, pond that done nicely.
Oh not to mention, wild cats too.. (which was not afraid of me)

Dinner was Great to visit the newly build for World Expo Hotel, InterContinental Shanghai Expo, where majorities of the items, build to resemble the expo itself.

the carpet, designed to show the 2 side of expo, Puxi and Pudong ~ the blue represent the river that divided Puxi and Pudong... Interesting?

this was where we waited for our taxi~

Next [Day 3 at Shanghai... exploring Yuyuan and Chinese massage~ and a simple yet fully satisfied dinner~]
