"If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry, more immortal- that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself. The greatest gains and values are farthest from being appreciated. We easily come to doubt if they exist. We soon forget them. They are the highest reality. Perhaps the facts most astounding and most real are never communicated by man to man. The true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched." - Henry David Thoreau
Yay, 77%! But what does it mean? Absolutely nothing! Except I spend too much time dicking around online.
As for the show, the previews, to me, make Bionic Woman seem a lot like Battlestar Galactica -- tonally, musically, cinematographically, etc., except different characters and plot. (David Eick is an executive producer on both.) That might be a drawback for me if it's too much like BSG...
I miss BSG! I can't wait till S3 comes out on DVD so I can finally watch it, though I know everything that happens.

Gossip Girl is my guilty pleasure. I only started watching because it actually takes place in New York, rather than using Vancouver or a set. But now I'm also watching because it's frothy fun, even more so than Josh Schwartz's previous project, The O.C. (Yeah, and I watched that, too.)
Bionic Woman was a huge letdown. Maybe David Eick needs his BFF, Ronald D. Moore? I'll stick around for a few more episodes, but if it doesn't pick up I'm checking out and watching only -- that's right -- Gossip Girl in that time slot.
Come back already, last seasons of Battlestar Galactica and The Wire!
Happy early Colombo Day. Day off! All riiight. 22:01
Last night, I saw my first whole episode of Smallville for the first time in about five years. By the time the halfway point came around, my thoughts were completely filled with, "WHAT THE HELL DOES CLARK DO?!?!?!? GET A JOB."
When I wear white shoes I am painfully aware of how white they are and HOW MANY PEOPLE SEEM TO STEP ON THEM! ARRRRRRGH!!!! (The NuTROL baboon image is very apropos. He knows how I feel.)
I haven't been on much, I mean I still click around and read people's nublogs, but I don't really participate as much as I used to... not that I participated a great deal in the first place, but definitely more than now. And it's not a total mystery as to why, either: I have too many blogs! I'm just stretching myself too thin.
Perhaps I'll cross-post more. I've only done that a couple of times, but I'll increase the amount. Yay?
