ya know, i glance at the comments on my page, and though it's not really a great sample of the people out there, it does strike me that people who blog (or at least the ones on this site) are much more openly friendly. this is a pretty refreshing fact. you'd think that blogs, with the absense of personal responsibility, would allow people to take out whatever anger or frustrations are going on in their lives. it's wonderful to see, or rather read, that there are people out there who have decided to say something nice, not because it will benefit them in some way, but simply because they want to impart some sort of friendly feeling to others. cheers to all you nice people out there. we need more of you.

well, yesterday could have gone better. it was a day that i'd been building up to for some time. and i was ready, really ready to take care of business and just be done with it. but something went wrong. i got sick, couldn't sleep and well, that pretty much did me in. frustrating because i was ready for this day. completely ready for it. even more frustrating because it means that i am here for a bit longer. here for another period of doing essentially nothing while i prepare for another day like the one yesterday. blah. but it's ok. the next yesterday will be better. it has to be and it will be. i'm a competetive mofo and simply will not let another yesterday happen again.

I'm not much of a computer guy so this is probably going to do it for page editing. It seems a little bit more depressing than what i was going for but it'll do. I guess it's fitting for the moment right?..

Well, this is the first line of my blogging life...
I think that went pretty well. Now let's see if i can do any better.

I guess you could say I'm a guy at the crossroads. I'm at the end of something big. It was something good and I was very happy with it. But now it's time to move on to new things. At least i think it is and feel like it is. So here are the quetions: What is it that I'm moving on to? Do I want to stop a few places along the way? And, (the question that prompted me to write in the first place) is there something or someone out there that i should take with me? I think that will be the purpose of this blog. Maybe someone out there can help me.

Until then, I am looking forward to the journey and to experiencing it, or at least some of it, with you.
