What iv been doing instead of posting , is reading a lot, trying to rip my house of fleas! oh that was adventure. i also been planning my 3 day novel, which takes a lot of research. and planning a winning poetry contest entry because the contest which has a top prize of 1,000 $ is judged by my favorite poet ever. I think i would just be happy if she liked my stuff i don't care about the money that much. even though the people i owe it to do.

Demi worked her first morning shift and everything went ok she was here on time i didn't even have to call her. I hope that works out well i like the new women i hired for over nights. also, triond accepted to piece of fiction i wrote i just need to make 7 more sents and i get paid in sept. of course i wont see any of it, it will go to various debt

I hired a new PCA, possibly two. I had to fire one which made me kind of sad, but I'm getting over it. I made preparations to enter the three day novel contest including hiring a typist whose name is Nancy and she's very sweet. She says she's an artist too. We talked about art and ways to save on your taxes today.

My knee is back in somewhat of a functional order. The only time it hurts is when I need to turn on that knee to get in the chair. The two times I've attempted that it hurts really badly for like a weekend. This time it hurt less but I'm still not normal. I'm a little bit scared that my knee will never function normally again but I'm trying not to think about that.

My cat cost me $272.47 because he needed serious flea treatment (note to pet owners the over the counter stuff doesn't work so don't buy it just take your animal and their fleas to the vet). Poor Richard also had an ear infection in both ears which I should have realized as the printer was going off and he wasn't attacking it as he usually was. Now, he has to have another vet appointment in a month and a kitty AIDS and a kitty cancer test. I'll be so sad if something were to be wrong with him.

I walked to the libarary to get library challenge tickets. I'm happily one third done with the challenge. So far, I've read a how to/self help, a mystery/horror, and and adventure tale. I'm reading 1984 for a classic novel (I don't like it as much). My memoir choice is Too Late to Die Young by disability activist Harriet McBryde Johnson, who died in 2008 at age 50. My book into movie choice is My Sister's Keeper. I need a love story, a book book a local author, a spy story, and a story set outside of the US. I hope I win the movie ticket raffle; you get 10 passes. I have lots of friends to take to the movies.

I'm doing Linux now, not windows. my geek friend fixed my computer. I don't have porn pop-ups anymore. I'm happily listening to Pendragon II on Ipod, a nice gift from same geek friend. I miss Word and Shockwave (which is for my video game that I play for charity). My new chair is working again, it didn't get fixed, but started working as if by magic. I'm a happy girl, due to that

So many things have gone wrong this week that I don't even know where to begin so I'll just start listing them at random. First, one of my assistants confessed that she had taken my ATM card and only told me about it because I called the police when I realized my balance was different from the one I was expecting. She had a good reason, and I'm sorry for her problem but I wish she would have just asked me in the first place. I would have given her the money and helped her deal with the situation in a more appropriate manor. Desperate people do desperate things, I guess. Secondly, my friend Sherisa is still in the hospital. It's been over a week. Last night everybody, including her dad, felt she was going to die. All I could do was sit at my computer and try not to fall apart awaiting the inevitable announcement. But the universe was on her side and this morning she's eating, talking, and acting normally. Thirdly, I'm supposed to give a workshop in a week in a place that's in the middle of nowhere in upstate New York. I thought it was in one place but it's at another. Luckily, one of my assistants can drive me and one of my other assistants so I called the van rental people today and emailed them too. Although, no one got back to me. Maybe tomorrow, but if not I'll call again. Fourthly, my chair broke again. I had the thing for 40 hours if that. The thing has spent more time being repaired or needing a part replaced than I've spent using it. Talk about annoying. I finally called my health insurance and asked them what did I do to report a lemon. Now, I have all the information and am armed with it when I go to the doctor's appointment. Fifthly, my fellowship, which seems to be cursed needed to be moved again because they're doing big construction on the campus. Now, I can't go until April 2010 which is one year later than when I was going to originally. Bearing in mind that the April date is the second date they've chosen for me. Lastly, I found out that I can't attend my friend's engagement party because the buses don't run in Ware (a town near me) on Saturday.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I'm going to the annual ADA celebration picnic in Gardner. It's the only time that disabled people in the state get together to be social rather than political, and I wouldn't miss it unless I was at death's door.

Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing seems to go right? I'm having one. Last week was also pretty much one. I'm about to be one. There's only so much stress a girl can undergo. For starters, the Belchertown police have not found who took my ATM card, my knee is still sore but not as much, I keep sticking my foot in my mouth which is pretty difficult when you're mobility impaired (j/k), My writing is not going fabulously or making money. I think I could handle one aspect of that if the other aspect were going well. If I was writing pages and pages of good material today, I'd be fine with not earning money. If I was raking in the dough, I wouldn't care so much if the muse decided to part for a while. I'd care but definitely not as much. Now, on top of everything else my computer has a virus and all these weird little windows keep popping up. What did I do to piss off the universe and how can I reverse it?
