Today Ernest did the session [Born to Win] then always to close the session he will play this song Anak(Child) by freddie aguilar to emphasize the love of the parents to the child. Born to Win session is to help the kids realise who they are. Also let them realise how hard it is to be able to just live normally. an example, if 200000 people die for one man to live, and he doesnt live his life properly, every would scold him @#!@. Then it will relate to, so many sperms died for you but you dont live wisely isnt it the same? and then it goes on to how poor thing kids in africa are and also pics of baby being aborted were shown(some were w/o head). Its to tell them how lucky they are =).

This is how ernest always decipher this song. I'll try to rephrase and say it so everyone can think abit about it.

Its true that when you were born your parents saw a dream fulfilled, they will talk about if its a boy i want him to be a doctor, pilot or some high flyer, if its a girl i want her to be pretty and smart and capable but now it has turned into a nightmare for them because of all your actions.

Its true that you are a special child, in the future there would not be anyone with the same fingerprint, dna, same features, same look as you anymore.

Your parents would definitely die for you if they have to to allow you to live on. There is a student her birthday is her mom's death anniversary and her mom gave birth to her knowing that her life would be in danger. That already shows that parents would give all their love to their kids.

BUT gradually after many years passesby, yes you grew stronger more independent but something seems to take over you. You seem to think your parents are in the wrong, speak up. say why you think they are wrong.

At times you realise that you have gone astray and then your friends left you alone to fend for yourself. Then you realise its your parents who protect you from your fear and always welcome you to them with open arms.

WHen i woke up i checked my results which is just released today. im sad. im only 0.0.5 away from my minimum expectation the grade i would get(expectation is set by myself). Today's workplace is at acs barker. but being so emo and sad. even if its 300m walking distance. i still took a bus. its only ONE stop but i dont give a shit. Everyone on the bus was looking at me as i alight , i know what they are thinking in their mind but i dont give a shit to it. Then joshua called me after knowing my results. Had a little chat. I feel much much better =)). We came to a conclusion, he did that during his 2nd sem of his first year and i guess i have to do it now or it would be a bit late. The thing is to quit World of Warcraft. i have to. cause its my common tests which i screwed up that affects my gpa. now i hate the gpa system but heh. everything matters so i have to stop wow effectively from today! i will still pay for the subscription then i gonna tell weiyi or wilson that if they need a shaman they can just log on my character and play. weiyi can play a shaman well though he is a warrior now. last time he is my shaman class officer.

ok enough of that what i should do shits. =)

Today at workplace there is a new indo girl. she studies at SIM. o_O ACS barker is so huge, though smaller than Ngee Ann polytechnic. The school is so heavily funded that it doesnt looks like a school. everyone is so rich in there, you can feel it. Work is kinda nothing to do as usual. I was reading an e-book on designing and then also started on a new novel titled 'Stardust' by neil gaimen, borrowed from daryl. Hope its not as difficult to comprehend as Flatland. Then also i was exploring ernest's new laptop which is installed with microsoft vista. kinda cool. Then shared my music files with peter cause i brought my harddisk. Then as usual chat and chat teach them some computer stuffs which i can helped with. I suddenly feel like im an IT support to the whole team. lol. oh well.. then i met lucy to exchange ipod back heh. since she also ard the area and she just lives 4 bus stop away from me. hohoho.

This week i think i have a link with indon people. 90% of the people i talk to is indonesian. hmmm i think i really need to learn how to speak indo and it would be nice. I think its nice to always talk to people in the language they are most comfortable with. Like with my grandma i prefer to speak hokkien as i feel closer to her. Heh. Anyone can teach me indo? it would be nice =))

I've seen ivan's portfolio in the past, could say he is a rather accomplished multimedia designer. he was telling us he has to oversee 18 flash sites in like 9 days. its like in 4hrs ask you to do a flash site one day 2 site. its brain taxing. to do is easy but design and concept wise its difficult to have a fountain of inspiration.

Today at chomp chomp wilson brought his portfolio down to show us. Rather beautiful too =)) his works are nice especially there is a re-touch of a picture of taufik and he does it as a magazine page. hehe dint know wilson so zai. then after seeing it yuhui was like saying she also wants to do a portfolio.

They make me wanna do a portfolio too but i know its not simple. Yuhui i can understand cause she majors in that field same as ivan and wilson but im not. im doing it for interest and yeah i admit sometimes people ask me what can i do and my files are everywhere in my computer and its damn messy to show them. Daryl also does it for interest and he also says there is an itch to do a portfolio but lazy. lol i think i also lazy if not i would have done it sometime back. HEHE. so many like minded people so great! =)

By the way, for those that dont know which meaning of portfolio to follow, in my context its the meaning where you file all your work into a folder and show to your clients or etc. of your past works to tell them what can you do.

after school i went to mt. alvernia to pass fang2 her ipod cause she asked me to help her update and she got an operation then v.bored so i brought her ipod for her to listen to. then reached the hospital. lucy and babet already there with one of her cousin(yen yen is her name i think). Fang2's mum and ahmah were there too. I so surprised her ah mah stil rembs me =)) .. think cause when i studied with her sister that time then i had dinner at their house i had 2 eggs and that left a deep impression cause no one ever eats 2 eggs in one meal.

we waited for about close to 2 hrs and so... then we played with handphone and calculator to entertain ourselves. soon yen yen's sister, linda, came too. we played finger number guessing game, 5 kids together.

finally fang2 came out from operating theatre so we went to her ward and see her. we didnt get to see her injured leg! but she had something to wrap her leg and connect to a cooler which will run for one hour every 6 hours to cool her leg to prevent further swelling. She got some dont know what injury that made her now cannot go vigorous exercise for 9months( hah. just nice she can go get married have a baby then exercise). she also thinks that its like pregnant like that, 9months. After a while in the ward talk talk chit chat we went off to eat at upper thomson.

we ate zi char(its where you other diff dishes and share and served with plates of white rice each). Bought prata for fang2 cause she craved for them. rofl. Then from thomson lucy and the 2 cousins, yenyen and linda, took bus with me back home. I realise we all stay in the same road just that how far apart. the 2 sisters stayed at Nexus which is the starting of the road. Lucy at stevens road which is 20mins ride down the road. and im just 5mins away from lucy's house. Everywhere i stay also same line as someone related to fang2. last time is her house is just down the road of my previous house. Thats why everytime i would take same bus back with her sister from town or from school. they say next time can meet and eat together cause all live near each other then i say can , why not =).

hope fang2 has a speedy recovery and a 9months worth of physiotherapy gonna be fun for her =)))).

Oh oh. I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK INDON =)). i hardly can communicate cause fang2 mom doesnt really speak other languages. then its naturally for them when all together to speak indo... but i can understand some words in indon la. but 90% i cannot understand what they talking about ....
