Happy Tree Friends - violence at its best Army Tank - waiting for its return Rock Paper Saddam - as the name suggests Weapons of Mass Destruction - self explanatory World Rally Championships | Man Vs Wild!!! Wednesday, July 25, 2007 watched like 3 episodes so far and loved every one of them! Although some say it's fake and all, i really like it for the entertainment value and of course some nifty tips it provides from time to time. There's also one where he drinks his own piss, but don't want to post it up cos i find it kinda disturbing myself lol! Comment! (8) | Recommend! Oh dear oh dear Tuesday, July 24, 2007 oh gosh, exam's in 3 days time and i've hardly revised, tried doing the past year paper but already got stumped by the first question! amidst all the renovation clatter and cleaning up to do, already getting a headache, don't talk about concentrating. Thurs is the day that they're gonna be done, that's if everything goes to plan (which rarely does). That'll probably mean shifting back all the furniture again and also massive amount of cleaning up, so last day of revision essentially gone leaving me with tomorrow as my best bet. Crunch time argh!! Comment! (2) | Recommend! exploded Monday, July 23, 2007 oh man, these things just happen. It was the middle of the night and I was the only one still awake when i heard something cracking in the house. I initially thought was the wall cracking up like it has done in the past, nothing too major, just a bit of putty and paint to cover it up will do. However this time, it just seemed to go on and on until my dad also woke up to investigate. It turns out that my flooring laminate popped out, or the tiles under or something popped out due to the weather. When i first stepped onto the 'bubble' i was suddenly afraid as i thought the floor under me has collapsed lol, but oh well, still bad enough. Just finished moving everything out of my living room in preparation for tomorrow's renovation works. Quite a pity actually, the floor is still in good condition, but sadly we have to replace the whole thing, which = minus $$$.. sigh.. hope the two days of works will have less disruption and less cleaning up to do, haven't started studying for my friday paper yet. anyway, here's something i thought was pretty funny and wanted to share with everyone. the singer's pretty good i'd say! I thought the report was very well written, though i was a little skeptical at first considering the fact that some of the writers were females and may not possess the same level of understanding compared to the other male journalists. However, i really think that they did a fantastic job in documenting the enlistment procedure and garnering stories from the public for this special. And the fact that they wrote those articles as girlfriends, wives, mothers made it even more special. Though the national service system has its detractors, it's quite encouraging to see there are those who find the value in it. I don't want to harp too much on it since the articles were sufficient. In short, yes to me it may be long, it may be tough at times, but certainly it was one hell of an adventure. Anyway, i've been putting off this update for what seemed an eternity. yup, im finally back as a student, putting in a few hours for lessons, tutorials and projects each week. Instead of juggling things like training, evaluations and taking care of my guys, i now find myself working out math, rushing to classes and being a total newbie and klutz again. What probably hurt the most would be the lack of income every month! Applied for some part time but still no luck due to my schedule or lack thereoff. oh well, the world outside is indeed a little bit more scary, just needs a little readjusting but i'll be fine. Teng's wedding is coming up next week, think i shall bring a camera this time. 070707, according to the mythbusters website it is by far the most popular date for weddings, with bookings already being made 2 years ago. So i guess the latest date would be 121212, which is like 4 years time. All the best to the girls lol! Comment! (0) | Recommend! The Singaporean Breakfast Monday, June 11, 2007 Nothing beats breakfast in Singapore (so far). Beehoon, kway teow, Lor Mee, Mee Pok, Roti Prata, Tau huay, Dim Sum, Chee Cheong Fun. Only some of what's available for breakfast, the choices are just too many! Whenever im away for extended periods, this is the experience i miss the most. Waking up in the morning, taking a leisure stroll, deciding whether i want chinese, indian, malay, or continental cuisine. Ahh just makes my day and feels as though im some retiree. Comment!
