The trees are in their autumn beauty,
The woodland paths are dry....

The taxi-calling man had the best Thanksgiving anyone could ever have, he said. He was tired but every time he tried to fall asleep the delicious smells of his wife's cooking filled his nostrils and he woke up again to say, "That smells GOOOoooOod, honey!" and she would respond, "It ain't cooked nothing but the bread yet!"
On Friday he went out and bought her a dozen roses because he said that was the best meal he ever did eat.
