SEMPENA KEMPEN MEMBASMI NYAMUK AEDES

The placed I�m staying is Aedes Mosquitoes area, when the right timing hit my area, Aedes will start flying around kissing someone with the sweetest blood.

Worse, sometimes it chooses to kiss someone that carry dengue virus. @@��

Erm those that do not know what is Aedes Mosquitoes.. there u go.. I know is gross..

Few days ago, someone from my area got bitten by Aedes Mosquitoes, so the department of health, Penang comes to rescue (Jabatan Kesihatan Pulau Pinang).

They sent us notice that the war against Aedes Mosquitoes will be launch at 6pm sharp. Once the clock hit 6pm, the white smoke with pesticide covered the whole flat behind my house� and soon they reach my housing area with this�.

After the spraying n polluting of environment, (grr I hate this idea� ) I interviewed one of the person incharged. LOL

Me : So do this pesticide kill the mosquitoes or just shoo them away?

A : No, we just shoo them away, only the small mosquitoes will die, the big one will fly off.

Me : @@��, what if after the pesticide war they come back?

A : The main purpose for this is to kill the small mosquitoes and larva

Me: Oh I see�. But don�t the big mosquitoes bite?

A : After they lay eggs they fly away. [ cant remember what is his answer]

Dad: so do all the citizen cooperative for this war against Aedes?

A: No, they just ignore us, although we send pre-notice, they just throw it away, when the day come, we rang their bell, they will start scolding us for not telling them any notice. when someone caught in dengue, we got all the blame for not doing our job

Dad: that�s must be a hard work.

A: Yup, some thought Aedes Mosquitoes is the Mosquitoes itself, they do not know how the mosquitoes come from. Sometimes we approach someone�s house, they will tell us that their house area is clean.

Me: haha� but do they know Aedes Mosquitoes breed in clean water?

A: NO, and they do not know what is larva�. And we have to explain to them

(Some sentence I modify it cause I can�t remember exactly the words use� but meaning kinda the same)

Please guys, is our duty to makesure there r no breeding area for mosquitoes� (Aedes especially), because once u got bitten, u gonna go through hell to recover� only if u discover it early.. If not� sayonara�

Tips from the department of health, once u r hit by fever, and is the dengue season and also if your area is Aedes area, please tell the doctor you wanted a blood test for dengue virus. Because lots of doctor out there do not blood test you, instead they just give u paracetamol for ur fever.

The blood test is just merely easy, 3 drops of blood (I think), and u will know do u affected by dengue virus or not.

Is no fun to get dengue fever, my cousin�s wife a survivor of dengue fever, went through hell� almost a year b4 she fully recover�

The following blog post will and might offend some of the people out there- especially smoker, if you think you might offended by the post, I would love to say sorry here, but this is my point of view and my rant, and my health is in threat because of the inconsiderate act of behavior.

As the topic implied, I don�ft smoke, but I smoke, because I been a victim of second hand smoker since before I knew what is cigarettes, what is tobacco, the threat it brings to human race.

My grandpa smoke, but he had stopped smoking years ago, which was a sudden behavior changed, and immediate change of no longer craving for cigarettes. Instead of wasting money to the tobacco company, he had he share on the mahjong table @@�f�f.

During high school, me and renaye were in the bowling society, our school training was on the Friday at the Bowling Alley nearby. What disgust us the most was the bowling alley itself, although �gno smoking signs�h were pasted everywhere, but the visitors, bowler and workers too smoke in the closed, air condition bowling alley. Indirectly, we who don�ft smoke too turned into second hand smoker which the threat were much more serious than first hand smoker. This behavior is seriously wrong, when we questioned and complaints to the owner of the bowling alley, they just simply asked us to ignore it. See we don�ft have human rights here.

Although I have bad impression of bowling alley, but it became an eye opener to me, when I stepped into different bowling alley elsewhere, although was old, but they have a closed room specially for smokers, which it impressed me that this particular bowling alley practice of business ethical. Equally understand different bowler groups�f needs.

I thought avoiding myself to the bowling alley helps to reduce my changes to become a second hand smoker, but the fact is, it never changed, everywhere we do see smoker, smoking their lungs out , having others around them killing their lungs.

There was a scenario I seen, this particular guy was not considerate at all, there was a kid at another table (around 3-4 years old), this guy saw it, but ignored it, he light his cigarettes and ignore the glare by the parents, and worse, the wind was blowing the kid direction, which all the chemical toxic smoke flew directly to the kid�fs face. The girlfriend of that guy tried to ask him to stop, but he ignored, only after a few minutes later, he throw the cigarettes away.

It been years I became second hand smoker at the premises around my dad shop, all the smoker from above block, loves to smoke infront of the shop, which the toxic smoke carried in by the wind and I inhale the toxic air. This annoyed me more, when I cannot do anything to stop them. I could not question them or asked them not to do so, because I�fll be view as rude by them, and my dad will have a say with me.

Is this ethical? is this considerate? If you enjoyed smoking, doesn�ft mean everyone around you do, if you wanted to smoke, go far away and not at the business premises, not only you are killing yourself but you too are killing those innocent non smoker. Smoking not only bringing you lung cancer, according to new research, it shows that, smoking promote faster dementia, which this include smoker and second hand smoker. dying is a solution, but having dementia suffer lots more before death�c.

I don�ft want to be the dementia patient�c because I still so freaking young!.... I wish something can be done to the smoker around this business premises�c !

Dementia as defined by the wordweb dictionary is Mental deterioration of organic or functional origin

And another thing�c. They just loves to throw the cigarettes everywhere after smoking! Gosh�c..

Anyone out here that have the difficulty to identify where is left or right? Either in English, mandarin, hokkien, Japanese, Spanish, malay and etc?

I know I sure do, been years I struggle to identify which is left and right, and often I failed to do so. Remember when I was in primary school, and I was sitting for science exam, and the question came with a human anatomy, asking which is our lung, and the option to choose from is left lung and right lung, Gosh, because of one question, I was struggling so hard, and ended up I decided to simply pick an answer, lol thank god the answer I picked was correct.

Years of struggling, at last I get to identify which is left and right, when my aunt taught me that right have the similar sound of write, which is the hand u used to write, so from there I remember oh, right is the hand I used to write, but often it take awhile for me to interpret where is right although I know is my writing hand.

Later I learn in Malay, Kanan and kiri, the reason I able to do so because of my driving �gIkut kiri kecuali memotong�h and I know where is the fast lane, which I have to drive at the right side�c but again, I often needed time to think or ill often mixed it up @@�f�f .

I�fm proud that I managed to identify left and right in 2 languages, (the feeling was overwhelming, but to those that know from the beginning it might mean nothing to u�c but to me is such a huge achievement) now that I�fm learning Japanese, so the left right issues appeared again, migi is right, hidari is left, but I still need to digest it before I able to identify it clearly.)

Worse, as Renaye said, although she is not from Chinese school, she knew what is left and right in mandarin, but I don�ft, zhuo and you I don�ft know which is left or right, nor do I know how to identify it when it was written in kanji. Same goes to Japanese, where migi and hidari r written in kanji. Gosh now im still struggling with left and right @@�f�f.
