yesterday.. i cycled half of lake bemidji with a gal friend of mine.. it was a beautiful day... but to reduce chance of skin cancer, i did splat on banana boat sunscreen~~
it was a nice ride as there were bike routes along the road.. so no worries of getting hit by cars~~ it would be a perfect ride.. if the bike seat is comfortable~~ now i have arse sore~~~

today.. i explored the trail beside the lake after working in the art studio... it was a peaceful moment.. sounds of waves against the bank.. my own singing of tunes.. enjoying the sun and cool breeze.. it was a walk to calm my mind and to motivate myself to take it easy with the ceramics class..

i wondered how it would be if it was with you instead.. cycling with you.. walking the trail with you.. lately, i noticed that i have not been laughing or feeling happy like i was when i'm with you.. the absence of you is strongly felt.. yet the thought of you makes me smile..

just want you to know that although our future is foggy, let us create memories and enjoy the present moments..

today is my first class of introduction to ceramics...

it doesn't feel like an art class...

the reasons:
1) the lecturer does not have long hair
2) the lecturer did not have good taste on clothing
3) he's not charming!
4) he does not have the dreamy look
5) there were no guys in the class except one old chap!!

plus, i was the only clueless student in class! everyone just started doing their thing after the lecturer finished talking.. i just follow others.. just hope my tiles will turn out fine tmr.. *fingers crossed*

have you ever stood on a peak of a 400 feet rock??

i did...

have you ever rock climb till your toe nails came off?

i did.. well.. almost came off..

have you ever marvel at how anyone can climb those rocks??

i did...

and best of all, i was the one sitting on that peak~~~ MUAHAHAHA... it was exciting.. i was amazed... looking from the peak of spire four of black hills..

A M A Z I N G~~

the climbing trip was fun.. had great people.. and great food..

we fought for deserts, we ate from the ground, we climbed rocks even though the wind was blowing crazily and we could fly off any second, we cramped our feet in those climbing shoes to get to the top... i guess having a crazy leader did lead to fun..

it was a test of physical and emotional ability.. during one of the routes, i was stuck and was barely holding on to small handholes and stepping on stones with only the side of my big toes~~ to make matters worse, the wind was so strong, i thought i might be swung away by it... wanted to give up but i could see the top.. how can i give up at that point?? plus i saw a better way to climb~~

AND I DID IT~~~ i felt relieved.. and great...

despite the great climbs, i had bad falls too~~ when i repelled, i slipped and slammed my back on the rocks..

it was really a splat on the wall.. minus the sliding down from the wall as the rocks are rough~~ that was classic.. and i got a blue black reward on my hips..

damn, i'm falling in love with rock climbing !!

after the past 24 hours, i had a different experience of summer...

"have a safe trip!"

"have a good summer!"

"i'll miss you... " *sob sob*

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~" (gals crying in their boyfriend's arm because they'll be seperated for the summer)

"it's soooo boring" (gals whose boyfriend left for work in another states complain)

this is sooooo weird... last night we had lonely girls party... all the gals without boyfriend by their side gathered and played mahjong... went to eat in McD's.. then head home to sleep... and it's only the first day of summerr..

one of the gals said i'm cruel and mean because i don't seem to be sad... but this is life.. people come and go.. and it's not as if they're not coming back~~~ ahh well... i get the benefit from this too... which is.. more alcohol to drink~~~ MUAAHHAHAHAHA...

and this is so not summer-ish~~ you have no idea how cold it was last nite... i froze ok? i was frozen~~

these are my impressions of summer before I came...

dilemma... home sick... packing... moving... travel plans... confusion... hibernate... laze...

theses are my actual summer after I came...

I have always thought of summer as the best season... the season where all the fun will happen... but now.. i think it will not be that fun... I'M LOST~~ I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR SUMMER... this is so pathetic... but will try to be adventurous.. instead of just bumming around and not doing anything productive..

Took part in my uni's commencement.. i carried the flag.. well, i might not be able to walk so i'll take this as it... there was a large crowd.. families and friends of the graduates.. touching.. sob sob..

To all that graduated, congratulations and may all be well in your future...

and so... summer is here.. and i'll be moving out from my campus.. have you ever wonder how many junks you keep in your tiny dorm room?? well, i have quite alot.. clothes that is.. a girl just can't stop her genetically coded allele which contributes to the shopaholic behavior.. hence, i have too many clothes.. although i've only been here since january.. hhmmm... so guys, if you ever wonder how girls can go crazy about shopping.. blame it on the allele.. we can't help it~~
