I sold my soul to online quizes...
"Am I a Sex God", you ask? Emode.com says:

"Hark - the oracle speaks! A bolt of lightning falls from the sky! SHAZAAM! As the smoke clears, the hidden deity in you emerges and is revealed to be:

EROS, God of Love.

As a devotee of this long-neglected virtue, you are a committed romantic. You prefer to savor the joys of seduction before you step into the bedroom. This quality makes you incredibly attractive to women, who seem to melt in your presence. They sense your strong character and respect your ideals. They dream of stealing you away and making dreamy love to you all day long. Not to say you wouldn't be happy to oblige, but you want to make sure that there's some emotional or intellectual compatibility between you and your partner to carry the relationship along. By the time you are ready to show them your godly performance, they're hooked. You take sex seriously and show your lucky woman a passion that has only existed in her wildest dreams. You are probably an emotionally expressive and sensitive person whose pleasure comes from pleasing others. Your chivalrous ways have probably earned you a following of fans and a trail of satisfied mortals in your wake."

I think it speaks for itself

What Kind of "Sexy" Am I?:

"Smart 'n' Sexy

Your intellect puts you in a class above the rest, and it creates a sexual aura that's untouchable by people who possess nothing more than a pretty face. You have people and intellectual smarts and are able to juggle them accordingly. Your sense of the world at large and your world around you draws people to your mind, and what a beautiful mind it is.

Whether you look the part in horn-rimmed glasses and a finely pressed suit or dress simply in a T-shirt and jeans, your style really takes off when you flaunt your intellectual prowess. You're probably happier volunteering for a good cause, like tutoring kids, than spending all night partying with friends — well, at least some of the time. You've read the classics, or at least know what they are, and get the greatest rush when you can fully connect with people — both mind and body. While you may have the looks as well, it's your brains that turn up the heat wherever you go."

What can I say? The ladies like the brains

Happy Halloween kids. I managed to take the time to get festive and change my color scheme and background for the occasion. You should feel special.

On the road again...

Well, midterm break is over. Nothing too terribly exciting happened, and I wrote about most of what did. I'm definitely quite relieved the the rough draft for the research paper in Viker's class isn't due this week. I wish nothing was going on tonight (i.e. no percussion ensemble crap and my lesson). Other than that, I'm just heading back to school to relax, do a minimal amount of homework, and just hang out like I always do. This break was pretty dull, in general. School's not exactly a hoppin' place to be, but I do rather enjoy it there, so it's nice to head back. Since I'm extremely lazy at school and not online very much, this'll probably be the last update for a few days. On that note, I'm off like a prom dress...

No more teachers's dirty looks...
Monday. 10.20.03 4:53 pm
I enjoyed waking up to "do you want chinese for lunch?". Why yes, yes I definitely did. So, around 11 this morning I got up and went out to the chinese buffet for lunch. I haven't had chinese food in a long time, so this was excellent. Since I was up and out and no one exists here because SU's breaks are lame, I decided to go to my high school (don't worry, I'm not that guy that can't leave high school) and visit a few of my former teachers. Man, my school looks a lot different now. At the parking lot entrance they now have a new school sign and a freaking digital marquee underneath!! Since when did South actually have money that didn't go to football? Then, I get out of the car and walk up the middle steps to go to the office for a lame visitor's pass, but I walk in through the first set of doors, then see that there's no handles on the next set. This instantly perplexes me (I think I actually said "what the fuck?" out loud). But, I looked to my right to see a new-to-me side entrance into the remodeled office area. Man, so much has changed and I've only been out of the place for about a year and a half. Anyway, I get my visitor's pass and head upstairs to see Mrs. Ryan first. Mrs. Ryan is by far the coolest french teacher, and perhaps overall teacher, ever. She was quite surprised and very glad to see me. We had a chat since I got there during her prep period. I told her about switching out of music ed. and trying to find out what the hell I want to do. She wasn't very surprised that my favorite class was Dramatic Literature and that I want to take some philosophy, psychology, and religion courses. I left when the next class came in, then went down the hall to visit two of my former english teachers, Mrs. Lepley and Mrs. LaMont. They both already had classes going, so I didn't have the chance to talk for very long. Mrs. LaMont is still her awesome self. She is still my favorite English teacher I ever had. There is no doubt in my mind that she was a hippie in her day. She's awesome like that. She, too, felt similarly to Mrs. Ryan, feeling that education wasn't right for me, and that I should take classes in philosophy and religion and whatnot. She said that she doesn't worry about me, that she knows I'll find what's right and be successful. That was nice to hear. Heh, my mom asks me if I went to see Mr. Hall or if I was going to. Eh, no thanks. Ha. I don't think Mr. Hall, being my former music instructor for 6 years, would like hearing that I'm not sticking with ed. and that my favorite class is my only non-music class. I made it easier on the both of us by just not stopping in.

After that, my mom and I hit up the local video store and grabbed 3 movies for some quality time. We already watched the first one, Scotland, PA. It won an award at Sundance, and it has Christopher Walken in it. Need I say more? Actually, we grabbed it because my mom went to a military school named Scotland, in--none other than--Scotland, PA. It was a weird movie, somehow based on Shakespeare (according to the intro credits). Being that it was weird, of course I enjoyed it. We also picked up Matrix: Reloaded and Amelie. Speaking of which, it's time to get back to movie night with mom. Later kids...

"A dream it's true, but I'll see it through..."
Sunday. 10.19.03 10:23 pm
I just wanted to add about my technicolor house. It's like Thrad and the amazing technicolor house. Here's the run-down: my bedroom(attic) is white, the living room is pale sky blue, my parents's bedroom is red, the bathroom is lime green, the dining room is sky blue, the computer room is peach, and the kitchen is orange. It's so weird because it's a vibrant change in color from room to room, but I do like it. My mom wanted to add color to it, well...she certainly did
