In normal people terms, that means I went to registration and orientation. It was great. I met some really cool people. Two, I have a feeling, will be future posse. First there is Nicole. She lives here in Plano. We hit it off really fast. We have a lot in common, and she's a smart, no-bull-shit kinda girl. See why we hit it off so well? Then there was Jeremy. He was our AARO leader. Since there were only about six of us in my group, we really got a chance to get to know each other a little bit. He's one of those cool, adorable, really goofy people I love so much. We get along amazingly well. He's going to be a sophomore this year, and he's majoring in business and philosophy. We also talked about possible going to the music feetival in September in Austin. (Yay Modest Mouse! - bunny trail - It's so weird to hear them on the radio. I remember back in the day when it was rare to know someone who had actually heard of them.) Man, it was just a surprisingly good weekend. I think even my dad was excited. We bought almost all my books online and saved about $150. It was great. I also found out my roommate last night. And it came as not a shock at all, that I will not be rooming with Claire. Instead I will be staying with Shea Dunn from Boulder, Colorado. (beautiful city I might add) So, hopefully that will be good. Haha, I'm giddy about college. Yet, I am very sad to see summer go. For whatever reason, this summer has been the fastest ever. And my mommy just called and said we have the loan stuff all worked out, and all she has to do is sign the little promissory note. So, I am muchly relieved right now and considering grabbing some lunch. Hopefully they will have quesadillas today.  Comment! Wednesday. 7.28.04 12:45 pm bonjour everybody. i suppose its time to make a semi-real entry. let me see let me see. on friday jenn and i went to see i, robot. it was excellent. we spent the weekend watching movies - the butterfly effect, secret window, big fish, and amelie - and we went to the collin creek mall and to the ulta. on monday i took jenni to our aunt holly's house. there we saw my other aunt from colorado of whom i havent seen since sophomore year. and of course there were all the baby cousins. it was great. they are the most adorable little kids ever. we met me fam there and they took jenn home. my mom got an X5, and she was so excited. shes wanted one for quite some time now. the transmission on the durango was having issues, so dad gave in because he didnt think it was worth the cost to get it fixed. its her car payment anyway. but is supposedly some big secret so dont tell. i ahd loan trauma all weekend and might go to kevin's tonight to see if i can make that better. my dad is coming up tomorrow night and we are going to orienation on friday and saturday. and thats pretty much all that is going on right now. nothing really exciting. but what can you do. my sister's birthday is a week from friday, so im going down to see her. i have the funnest stuff for her. i hope she likes. and the weekend after that i move into the dorms. eek! the summer is almost over. one last note - has anyone noticed that johnnydepplover's pixel chic is the exact same shape as mine? minus the hands. jenni - "its a wee little picture" Comment!
