Celebrated D.D's birthbay! Although it was only a dinner, it was time well spent.
Ate at the Swissotel Merchant Court, Ellenborough Market Cafe, buffet for 2. So full man. D.D. was gobbling on oysters, crayfish, shark's fin, durian paste and sashimi. I hope D.D. enjoyed his candle light dinner. Happy birthday and may your wishes come true.

My 5th Year Pressie:
Was quite surprised at D.D's unique taste. At first sight, I scolded him for paying such a high price for the ring. After a few days of wearing it, i realised that i really like it. Was always peeping at the ring while working and on the train. D.d., you have got great taste, just like me.

Our trip to RELC was wasted, not opened on Sat. In the end, D.D. will have to take 1/2 day leave to pay his school fees. Walked around orchard and settled for Coffee Bean at Paragon. While D.D. read his book, i ate cake and read newspapers. Honestly, we had nv done this before together. We should try this more often. Hehe.. Am glad that we have alot of chemistry. Miss you D.D. Dun stay out too late orh.

Thursday
Had dinner with D.D. and slacked at home while my parents went over to our neighbour, Malaysia.

Friday
Met up with Pei Yun, a uni school mate who came down to Singapore from Malaysia to visit. Met her at Clark Quay for dinner. Had a king prawn meal at an Italian restaurant, $33 +++. Quite ex considering i only got 3 large prawns and the remaining were fries. Anyway, I figure out that Malaysians who study abroad especially in UK must be quite well-off. Considering the exchange rate, they have to pay the ratio of 6:1.

Went to D.d.'s Easter Day service. Well, it was an experience. The pastor is quite funny i must say, with alot of actions as usual. Had a drinker session with D.D.'s friends. Drinking is really not gd for your health, so i limited D.d.'s alcohol intake as he was not feeling well that day. His friends commented that they would nv think i would test his glass of drink for the alcohol content. Haha... I am willing to do anything for D.D.

Sun
Was invited to D.d.'s cousin's wedding solemisation (did i get it right?) Doreen, his cousin, is really pretty and Vincent his same age cousin is quite charming too. Too bad D.D. came first, you noe the theory of first-come-first-serve? Hahaha...
During the ceremony, there were 4 main points that the "lawyer" highlighted.
I could only remember 3:
1. To be helpful (as in always help your partner)
2. To be a truthful companion
3. To be united in your thoughts and dreams.
4. (my own) To always cherish and love each other.

Initially i was day-dreaming that i would fight to snatch the bouquet of flowers when Doreen throws it to a bunch of gals. However, she didnt, to the relief of D.D. Hiaz, wonder when would be my turn.

Today started out fine considering that the sun was peaking through my room windows at 7 plus. D.D. woke up very early today despite having slept only for a few hours.
D.D. had his driving theory test and practical lesson. Though you have already went through it many times, at least you have made an improvement and I am sure you will overcome it the next round. Jia You!!!

After that, met up with our old poly school mates to visit Uncle Ho, YT's father. It was quite sad seeing him on the bed. I was holding back my tears when talking and laughing with the guys as we "tried" to communicate in Cantonese with Uncle Ho. Hope that everything will go well and we look forward to hear that he will be able to go home soon. If you are blood A+, your help is most needed. Pls leave a msg here and I will get back to you. Thx.

Moving on to happier stuff, me and D.D. went over to Raffles City to eat Shokudo, aka Japanese version of Marche after walking around in Suntec. True enough, the aircon is really freezing as mentioned in 8 Days and our food went cold quite quickly. The crowd was considered small at around 3 plus. One difference of Shokudo and Marche is that the former will use a chess like thing to reserve your table while you safely go buy your food. Our no. was 001. We had alot of food, mostly at reasonable prices till i bought this $3.50 Starfruit juice. The cup was so small and the starfruit used was only maybe just 1. Hiaz, but clever D.D. pointed out a very gd point that they will have to sell expensive drinks to survive. You may want to go try the food out at this new food bazaar.

Our tried and tested menu:

1. Starfruit juice = $3.50
2. Beef Stew with Baguette= $6.80
3. Tofu steak (pan fry)= $4.80
4. Soft shell crab tempura= $6.00
5. Prawn roll with bacon stick = $2.50
6. Pork aspargys stick= $2.50
7. Beef fillet stick= $2.50
8. Bean sprouts terpanyaki style= $4.00
9. Waffle with Rock Melon ice-cream= $5.80

Total Bill (+ GST & Service Charge)= $45.20

Am now looking forward to the public holiday on Friday, hopefully i will have no event on Thursday pls.

For those who read my blog, yes I am too lazy to type and let alone load pics onto photobucket. However, should update once in awhile. Am down with Flu, my family doctor even took prevention medication when he announced to me that its "FLU SEASON". Haha...

Being on 1 day MC is no joke, many may think its so good to do nothing, so free. Its totally opposite, queueing up to see the doctor is so long took 1 hours plus together with all the sick ppl. Then, you feel so tired that you want to slp but yet still feel awake. After watching Tv and reading my long-lost newspapers (havent read ST for a long time), I climbed into my mum's bed. Its very cold lately, weather is changing. Slept and woke up a few times.

Anyway, today is a bad day to go back to work. Felt giddy and weak when i took the public transport, wanted to take 1/2 day leave to go home to rest. BUT, looking at the 71 emails i have to reply and other work "Tai Ji-ed" to me, i had to stay on. Almost fainted, reading through the emails and replying to them took me almost 2.5 hours. Non-necessary meetings throughout the day made my day worst. Tut when ppl are sick, you should at the very least take care of him/ her, not giving her more work, not irritating the person and letting the person off early.
Sometimes, people take things for granted. Well, there will be karma, that's my only wish to all those people (you noe who you are). Damn disappointing to learn that you have evolved into an even "Rojak" person with so many different faces. How do you do it? Shitty people!!!
